Raymum: Please house, I have a situation and need help.
I am currently floating in the EE pool with 364 point. I have a master degree while my husband has B.Sc.(I am the primary applicant)
Age is already a minus for both of us. Here is the situation:
1. I just remember today that hubby told me long time ago that he did an INTERMEDIATE CERTIFICATE in Accounting and Finance(One year Full-Time i.e two Semesters) program at The Polytecnic Birnin Kebbi in 2001. Please my people, can this give hime two or more certificate with his already assessed B.SC?
2. If the answer to the first question is ''No'', please someone should direct me to where to register for BCS Certificate in IT in Abuja.
Thanks and God bless you all. Biko, someone should help my situation. I would honestly advice you try evaluating it to be sure...all the options we know or have is because people tried it and shared testimonies... There are several certificates that people have brought here and many said it won't fly but they went on to evaluate and it was successful... Just try your luck . |

Influential101: I can't advise on which certification, check the syllabus content and see the one she can succeed at..
however, CIMA and ACCA seem to be the fastest to acquire... check out the two..
here's link to CIMA, you can check Google for the rest https://www.nairaland.com/5332693/writing-cima-express-entry-lets @bishoplakes I advise you go for acca as it is Shorter(3 courses, you could even get an exemption it you studied certain courses, cima is 4 courses) Faster(result Is out immediately and certificate 72 hours unlike cima that certificate takes 6 weeks) Cheaper(registration is 16-20k and 40k per paper, sending to Wes is free and electronic unlike cima that would have to pay for dhl from uk to Canada ) Pass mark is 50% as to cima's 100% out of 150%. |

BibiKK: Thanks for your prompt answer. I have HND.
I will like to know more about those courses, what's their duration like? I'm based in Abuja can I get a study centre here? its good as you have hnd ....evaluate both your certificates and it should read as two or more. with that you don't need any extra course. |

BibiKK: Hello, I salute all gurus in the house.
My spouses Noc (2233 Industrial Engineering) needs certification and he doesn't have it
1. How does not having certification affect one's application? Could it actually stop provinces from having interest in one's application?
2. How can one go about getting certified ?
3. Please I need information on provinces we could apply to with the following info: Noc 2233 Industrial Engineering/5years work experience/ crs score 375/ 35years Noc 1241 Admin Assistance/3years work experience/crs score 395/30 years
Thanks IN MY OPINION NOC 1241 with CRS 395 should rewrite ielts, max out ,do a short course like cima/acca/bcs....he or she should be able to get 440/450 or thereabout if he or she has bsc already... 1241 usually pops up in demand... about Certification .....most certification can only be gotten from the province which requires your presence but you only need the certification immediately if you want to try skilled trades.. otherwise you can get your ppr and get there and work towards certification.... IN MY OWN OPINION. |

emmyvet: I recently used the https://exchange.etx.ng/ guys to request on Friday still expecting feedback. its not advisable yo use ETX to apply for transcript...it takes longer than normal...its always best to use it for delivery only as it is delivered to WES immediately it is received. Apply for your transcript directly from school and have them send it to ETX to save time and resources its only 5050 naira. |

blaqvoke: Hi everyone,
I called compunet to make some enquiry on BCS certificate in IT and I was told that the exam fee is 70k and the training would cost 100k so that’s a total of 170k. It’s quite much o so I’d like to know if it’s a good deal and if I need to join the training to pass the exam or just search for materials on my own cos I need a certificate in addition to my BSc to boost my score. There is as telegram group for bcs people which is helpful as all material is there..also @bntech is doing promo or so for tutorial. |

spicykev: Hello people, my score in the pool currently is 393, my hubby and myself have masters. My last lelts result was L.7.5, W.6.5, R.7.0, S.7.5. I am taking the IELTS again later this month, I aim to score at least 8.7.7.7 to boost my score. I heard TEF can help boost my CRS score, can someone advise how TEF can help boost my score. I am willing to learn french seriously and try the exam in 3 months to see if it can help. I honestly laugh really hard when I hear people say this..see English you have been speaking, reading and listening since birth you couldn't ace it,you now want to learn a foreign language and do reading, writing, speaking and listening and pass in 3 months....please lets be realistic with ourselves... It takes an average of a year of consistent speaking, listening , reading and writing to get a very good score in tef as well as plenty sprinkle of patience, perseverance and hard work... I know loads of people who studied French in school, went on foreign exchange programs to French speaking countries yet couldn't make a very reasonable score just few were able to do really well. Language is not something you rush to learn..its not like history you can cram and pour. Is it possible to learn even a Nigerian language in 3 months and excel in speaking , reading ,writing and listening? Let's be realistic. Sorry it might sound harsh ooo but its the honest truth and we all need to take note of such rush rush approach. This process is not easy like that..May God help us all to make the best decisions that will save us time and money. My 2 cent. |

Dammie0904: I'm going to advise you to write Acca.if you have a course relating to accounting or social science you should get exemptions meaning you are going to have to write just 2modules to get the certificate. It's 50% passmark and cheaper too! I concor |

slye: Hi, pls for the BCS, you said the exam is twice annually. Are you insinuating that i have to do two exams(march and September) to finish the course or i have to pass just one of the months. Also, is project involved in the whole thing? Or i just pass their exams and thats it. I noticed there arev two options too BCS certificate in IT and BCS diploma in IT. Which is advisable? You can write the exam only twice in a year....in order words if you miss march exam you can still write that year in september. If you miss registration for september exam you can prepare to register and write in march... No project involved...just exams...i think that should be bcs certificate in IT ( not so sure ) |

Exmay02: Thanks for d good work
Want to know if this order of process is correct.
1. WES registration 2. Pay etx ng 3. Request transcript from school asking to be sent to etx ng.
Is this right? Want to be sure it is 2 before 3..... Hope its not 3 before 2?
Thanks Yes correct 1) register for Wes(Get reference number ) 2) register on etx (Get DDR number ) 3) Request for transcript from school (application should include wes reference number , etx DDR number, and wes/Etx request form) Check out the full video on the right process to avoid mistakes. |
