USA. VS NIGERIA First Quarter Over 9 - 17 Nigeria won first quarter |
Who's watching Nigeria match? I'm not watching it but I'm just wondering why we can't score goals. So far we've scored only one goal which came from a penalty. If they continue like this, if they qualify from group stage, it would be difficult for them in the quarter finals |
charlesemeka85:Saw something similar on nairaland front page Super Eagle’s To Drop 7 Players including Mikel and Ighalo For Seychelles Game Gernot Rohr have hinted that seven players who participated for Nigeria in the last World cup tournament in Russia, are unlikely to receive invitation for the AFCON Qualifiers against Seychelles which is to be played in September 8 Completesportsnigerian.com reports. Rohr who remained in Europe after the country’s early exit from the World cup have revealed his plans to bring in some fringe players who could not make it to the last World cup according to an official in the NFF Secretariat in Abuja. “Coach Rohr has remained in Europe to monitor our players and scout some emerging stars with the view to capping them and he has also hinted at his plan to drop some world cup Eagles because of injuries, loss of form or for tactical reasons,” our source who requested anonymity told Completesportsnigeria.com in Abuja “He would have been here to submit his world cup report, but had to stay back because of the leadership tussle at the NFF, but all things being equal, Rohr may be in the country next week to submit his report and release his squad list for the Seychelles game in September” Reports have indicated that Kelechi Nwakali could be recalled while Tyronne Ebuehi and John Obi Mikel are likely to be dropped due to injuries. Reports all hints that Joel Obi, Elderson Echiejele, Odion Ighalo and Ogenyi Onazi could all give way for younger generation of Nigerian footballers. https://www.trendingfootballnews.com/super-eagles-to-drop-seven-players-for-seychelles-game/ |
I think Leicester would have won today's game if mahrez was on that game. His absence was well felt. |

Kalu's Transfer To Bordeaux On The Brink Of Collapse, NFF Contacted To Falsify Documents Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Samuel Kalu's transfer to Bordeaux is on the brink of collapse and the fault lies with the French Ligue 1 club for failing to conduct due diligence before signing the winger. The rule in France is that a player must have representative caps for one of the national teams before he is qualified to play in the Ligue 1 or the transfer won't be sanctioned by the Ligue de Football Professionnel. Look no further than the case involving Porto defender Chidozie Awaziem, who was hurriedly handed an undeserved debut by Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa shortly before his transfer to Nantes last summer, but that story is for another day. Samuel Kalu's camp is doing everything possible to stop Bordeaux pulling out of the deal and it is one hundred percent confirmed that they have contacted the Nigeria Football Federation to falsify documents showing the winger earlier played for one of the national teams. The former Gent starlet has been omitted for Bordeaux trip to Odessa, where they face Marioupol in the third qualifying round of the Europa League on Thursday, despite being fit. Bordeaux press chief Aurelie Carrey was contacted for the club's official version but she did not answer several calls placed to her phone. Is this true? |
AIG07:My little observation from that game is that those Germans are more fit, faster and bigger than our players. See the way they were chancing our players |
Germany missed a glorious opportunity |
Earthquake1:No let am dribble you, no let am dribble you ![]() |
Those german girls are pressing hard on Nigeria players. I doubt if they can keep up that high tempo for 90mins |
Who's watching the Nigeria vs Germany match. One would think the Nigeria coach is the commentator of the game ![]() |
AIG07:What about that boy in Villarreal ? |
Now that we've been ousted from the world Cup, this thread is now moving in a considerable and moderate pace. The way it was moving sometimes around 2 weeks ago was too fast to keep up with the the pace. Man had to skip pages |
If only Nigeria wasn't knocked out of the worldcup, the way big teams are just falling off it would have been easy ride to our dream Semi finals. |
Please somebody should tell rohr that ighalo should be sent to the bench for good and simy should be given opportunity in the second half instead of ighalo. Moses should not be allowed to play 90mins if he's playing rubbish abi na crime to sub moses? Congratulations to our super eagles, let's do it again to Argentina. |
I'm so angry right now. I'm sorry to say we might be leaving Russia with 0 point with the way v.moses play. The guy is just vexing me. Always trying to dribble his ancestors. And he'll just be falling like 1 mumu. Mtcheeew |
asha80:Me self was wondering maybe I didn't see the player very well wen i first heard him call aspas vasquez. The commentator was confused I guessed |

Chelsea fans urge club to re-sign John Obi Mikel after Nigeria display Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel started Nigeria’s 2-1 friendly defeat against England at Wembley on Saturday ahead of the 2018 World Cup, and Blues fans were quick to react to his display and urged their club to re-sign the 6ft 2in tall star. He featured in a more attacking midfield role against the Three Lions than he was perhaps used to during his time at Stamford Bridge, where he made 374 appearances in all competitions across 10 seasons before he left for the Chinese Super League in 2017. Meanwhile, the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Danny Drinkwater and Ross Barkley have so far failed to make their mark alongside N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park for the west London outfit, and a new player in that position could be a priority for Antonio Conte or a new manager this summer. Chelsea supporters, the majority of whom think a 6ft 3in beast would thrive under Maurizio Sarri at the Bridge, took to social media to give their thoughts on Mikel’s latest display, and while one said “I’d take Mikel back in a minute”, another said “Mikel is better than Barkley, Bakyoko, Drinkwater combined” |
forgiveness:If you want to know how Nwakali made the 35 man list, go and ask Rohr, Pinnick, NFF or the Super Eagles na or are we him? Him we are? We him are? Him are we? We are him? Abeg drop the matter and move on.

edi287:Let dem sit deep and allow v.moses do his thing and win us penalty, they will surely come out |
Mujtahida:If counter attacking football is what's going to make us go pass round of 16 or even win the world Cup, so be it. The times we've been playing attacking football, we must wait for what our opponents play in their last matches to know if we'll qualify for world Cup or even go beyond group stage in the Cup world. Now that we are playing counter attacking football, we qualify with a game to spare. If that's what going to get the job done, let's play it. |
tbaba1234:I have a feeling ogu will start England match ahead of onazi. |
Uzoho! Please don't do to us wat in world Cup finals what karius did to Liverpool in champions league final. |
