Type of work visas

Time frame for a work visa application

The professional visas are for professionals, mostly people that studied professional courses in Korea and fluent in the language and are lucky enough to get a company willing to hire them. If you're caught working with any of this visa, it's a bye for you.


Pastors, engineers, IT tech, Actors etc
To qualify for this visa, you must not have any crime report, so if you are caught working as a student or involved in any sort of crime, it will be on your record.
They will see you as bad person, there is no small crime here. Is either they see you as bad person or see you as good person.

The E2 is for teachers, Nigerians are not allowed to get such visa.

As for the C short term employment, they now issue it to people from Asia that do come and go back after the short term. It will be issued in their home country .

I don't know you, I don't know how rich you are, so you may qualify for any of those based on your pockets.

I've got a budget of 2m and unfortunately this is only enough for a year and a couple of months for feeding and dorm. I'm planning on working part-time during the semester and/or full time during weekends and holidays. Considering the current hourly rate, this should patch things up yeah? Is this doable and within the law?

I don't have the current dean info however. Most schools have the contact email on their website. Try using that option to get in contact.
As for going straight to Masters, it depends on your school requirement. Most schools require you do Korean language first while some don't.

No company will send you IV to WORK in Korea.
No company will even accept you to work and give you visa even if you enter Korea now because there's no visa like that, it does not EXIST.
So do not waste your money sir.

Except you studied IT courses or courses that make you marketable in Korea and you're fluent in Korean Language.
And you're smart enough to integrate, with enough Grace, You can get a professional working visa based on your portfolio and contact and not even upto %1 of Africans are getting it, they hire mostly people from Asian countries.

Why will you pay 600k to an agent to get you to SK when you know that the chance of entering Korea is not guaranteed? Mind you, you cannot change your visa status from asylum to student visa, it is not done again. Why can't you use that 600k to secure admission in SK and secure your stay? Lastly, just disavow your mind of getting PR in SK as it is not easy. I will advise you to shelve any other plan and consider the student route.

Tourist/conference visa does not guarantee entrance, Korea still send back majority of people that come on with such visa daily. So why spend that much on it.
I've seen a guy that his mum had to call, crying and begging that she sold everything which even made the matters worse because, you can't sell everything to send your son for conference.
