Sometimes, I wonder what those phone makers are thinking. My redmi note 3 call volume was also too low, sometimes In a noisy area, I had to press the phone hard to my ears.

Now that I'm using a custom kernel and turned the volume up, I'm really enjoying the phone.

Do they test these values in a sound proof room and just decide its okay?

i just tire for them too. I had this sound issue in miui too but mine was better after changing region. its really beginning to look like upgrading to miui 9 is a big risk, you don't knw what you get, what will work better or what will be worse.

You end up getting better software that works well for free self. That's if you know your way around tweaking and modding devices

i think it's under additional settings, then region. Change to somewhere like china, try playing a music to test the quality. You can also restart after changing region. I had this while using miui9 too, saw the tutorial online and it fixed it

Since i updated my Phone to Miui 9, my phone Loud speaker has been abnormally low! It's no more as loud as it used to before i updated! I used my sister's Max2 to compare and hers was far louder than mine

running aex android 7.1 on my mi 5s plus. android 8.1 is not yet stable on the phone. Makes me miss the redmi note 4

I have a mi 5s plus for swap with redmi note 4 or mi max 2.

i no longer have access to the redmi note 4. Roms just over plenty for that phone sha. Developer support is too much

its not necessary, you can try immediately you get permission. The 3 to 5 days come as a result from the mi unlock tool. Sometimes it unlocks Straight sometimes it asks u to wait for 3 to 5 days as the case may be

what is the tracking status you got? If its actually delivered, most times it will include the name of the recipient who signed for the parcel.

I bought a sdcard on aliexpress but I noticed it's a counterfeit one as the memory shown is more the actual size of the sdcard and it always delete my files by itself. I have formatted it with fat32 on my pc but that could not solve the problem. Then I open dispute and now the seller is begging me to close the dispute and he's going to send another one to me. Should I accept his offer or I collect my money and from another store?

some version will not work on miui. I had some issues with some then too, I've left miui so i can't really say which one u should download but u can try dos with mi5s at the back

on another version its inside experimental, in scrubber's version its not hard to find. Scrubber's own is even the easiest to use. Are u in the telegram photography group?

which version did u install? There is gcam by arnova, bsg version and scrubber's own. Mine is bsg see the attached ss

I just opened a new mi account now, applied telling them that i'm an android developer, and that i want to unlock my bootloader in order to test some custom roms i built. Within five minutes, i was grated permission. It wasn't this fast in the past.

the two accounts i did was within 30min, this was December though. But i ended up waiting for 72hrs on one, 66hours on the other before i could actually unlock the devices
