you don't really need an engineer. Just unlock the bootloader, flash fastboot rom and relock the bootloader if u want to. A little knowledge of android adb and fastboot is a bonus too. I stay in ilorin. My contact is on my signature.

if u need better camera and battery u go need a custom rom based on miui i.e miui pro and epic rom are preferrable....

its better than miui, with camera2api enabled and hdr+, miui camera can't stand it. Trust me you won't use miui camera again after using gcam u can check comparisons online, the diff na like day and night

the small time i used developer rom, battery was a bit beta dan global stable. I have stopped using miui, battery life on custom roms are better off than miui own. I can conveniently do 12hrs on cardinal aosp or aex rom with or without a custom kernel. Charging speed is fast too. Max 2hrs 10min

i used piston hybrid for close to 2 years before it spoilt. I'll still buy again if i have the money. The earphone is just awesome. I got it like 5k dat year though

I personally prefer those buttons too but then, some other people prefer on screen. That's life.
Afterall, some brands use on screen buttons predominantly

but the on screen keyboard will reduce the screen estate

watched the review from techtablets that was shared on the thread. The phone is just slight upgrade to redmi note 4.it has quick charge though, but a quick charger is not included in the box

i had same issue till yesterday when i just decided to remove my memory card. Heard it's because of the many files scattered around many folders in the mcard and xiaomi did not optimize memory card scanning or so. Well, i will arrange my files in few folders today and insert the mcard back to see if there's any changes.

The only option available after updating via OTA should be 'Reboot now', as others have suspected, you likely have a custom recovery like TWRP flashed. Did you buy the phone new or used?

seems the guy is hiding something self. I don't think there is away of booting into bootloader without root access or some form of customization of the reboot option which can only be done as a root user.

n if u can find a way to unlock ur bootloader, u can try developer rom which is updated weekly

. That's y u may have to wait for another update or move to Another rom version like developer rom, but u have to unlock bootloader first to move to developer
