May God keep me alive by next year to experience first hand, what true governance is all about. |
This movement is propelled by youths from every part of the country who earnestly want a genuine change for their country. I don't think a financial inducement can change these determined souls. They are willing to spend their last dimes to bring about this change. |
This is the first time in my life I have demonstrated strong desire to participate in the electoral process. There seems to be hope for Nigeria again. This is the first time in history I am winning the "FIRST TO COMMENT" Prize ooo This is a clear indication that Obi is winning the presidential election with a convincing landslide victory. |
No be today monkey start dey eat banana self. |
This country has produced 3 prolific strikers who coincidentally are from the same mother and played the same wing with the same jersey number. This is wonderful. The first one was forcefully retired from football and gone forever. He was influencial and domineering in the dressing room, in the field and off the field, he was the only footballer in the world known to have enjoyed unhindered access to the management of the club, he often dictated to the coach and club management the players to be substituted, bought and sold at any given time. He often clashed with the referees for his domineering attitude. He didn't survive the last rift he had with the supporters club as the club management and world football body had no other option than to ban him forever from the game of football. The second one has been serving a long and unending match bans and also nursing some ankle injuries which might not allow him to play again. He was a flamboyant striker who celebrated each of his goals in a way that irritates his opponents, carrying his personal and team medals anywhere he goes, even to toilet, to demonstrate to the world how instrumental he is to the team. He once argued that he is a better player than the likes of legendary Maradona and Pele. He created a controversy in 2014 at the venue of Ballon d'or award ceremony where he challenged and berated the FIFA body for being biased in their selection, in his submission, he deserved the world best footballer award than C Ronaldo and Messi because he was far more qualified than the two. The third and last one who is a silent but prolific striker playing for the arena of Oil money club is committing all manners of infringements against the players from the opposing side, this is dangerous because he is doing this inside his own 18 yards box, there is tension because the referee may show him red card and award penalty kick against his own team. If care is not taken FIFA may suspend him from playing a number of matches or even permanently retiring him from football. It had been a great experience watching these three brothers from Africa playing in different top European clubs. |
Scintillating performance by the boys. Kudos! |
This has not only gotten out of hands but also out of legs. We are really in for a big shit which the country is even handicapped and bereft of any solution to this alarming security situation. |
We are in serious wahala in this country ooo. |
This is becoming more creepy and eerily everyday. |
Make dem kukuma eliminate all the government haters and import plenty government lovers from overseas to fill the vacuum. Arrant nonsense! |
Embarrassingly upsetting! |
A wonderful development. |
Would anything come out of it? |
Very unfortunate situation we have found ourselves in...... |
The security situation continues getting worst in this country. Quite unfortunate that the innocent commoner bears the brunt. |
It would be better if it used for air travels because I have not seen its effectiveness is combating terrorism. |
What an irony! |
Simply shameless albeit rather shameful |
Funny reality |
Explosive revelation! |
What is really happening, please? |
Cashsteady:The answer to your question is not far fetched. The high rate of University enrollment among the Igbos brought about that trend. An average aspiring Igbo student will tend to go to the place where the competition is not so much. For example, In the department of computer engineering in institution like FUTO Owerri may decide to absorb maximum of 500 new students in an academic year whereas about 1500 applied for the course as their first choice. Out of the 1500 applicants, 1200 might meet the minimum requirements for the offer of admission but only 500 will be offered admission while other 700 applicants who also met the minimum requirements would not secure admission because the minimum intake of the department is 500 and they have to wait for next year to write another jamb. So a reasonable population of aspiring Igbo students tend to apply for admissions in institutions in the West where competition is not that tough and getting admission is much easier. |
Nigerian situation. |
thanks for your contributions so far. More views from others will be appreciated. thanks. |
yanabasee1:She doesn't walk barefooted, the thing just started from sudden pain which finally developed into this. She was told that she stepped on poison. |
Good day brothers and sisters. Please, a cousin of mine has been treating a foot infection for the past two years without any improvement. Orthodox medicine didn't solve the problem neither did native (herbal) medicine. I will appreciate if doctors in the house can tell me the name of the infection and the names of drugs that can cure it. Thanks . Mods,. Please, front page. She was told that she stepped on poison.

Tintedladybeer:this is exactly my own situation, no addition, subtraction. I started using recommended glasses the time I was in JSS 3 and 16 years after, no visible improvement. During my school days I was always staying at the front row, I don't read books with glasses. I wear glasses from morning till night everyday so that I can see and recognize the faces of people I see everyday. Night is the worst period of poor visual acuity. Even with my glasses, there are certain distances my eyes can not capture vividly, what people around me can capture comfortably with their natural eyes. I have resigned to my fate. |
