I'm using this as a point of contact to expectant hearts of Medical request mails,passport request mails and Passport pick-up mails or any forms of positive news from Accra.
I pray that good news shall always be in your abode....

Thanks solomonwise, guys i have been able to confirm that GTB has started reissuing Canadian dollar draft. 24hr pick up Sha but if you are upcountry (i.e not in lagos) you can initiate it online if you have a token and they will send the draft to any branch you want to pick it up from

Hi guys, sorry , am yet to go to GTB, hope i can do that tomorrow but i have a quick question, i am using my Fixed deposit for POF, do i have to send original FD certificate/contract or photocopy
PS; the deposit is just a month old so i don't want to print statement.

Hi bees74, you can continue on an extra sheet, it actually says so on the forms, for your second question i thinks its up to you, but i am going to get a draft cause i will hv one less headache to worry about, cards can misbehave i.e imagine if there is network downtime in your bank when CIC is trying to debit

damkollins: Most importantly ,focus less on your assets and liabilities ......but be more informed and proactive about making sure your settlement of funds is the same thing as your evidence of POF which you are presenting in forms of your statement of account or bank certificate .
Y advice for you is to just write the same figure as your evidence of POF in the column for your assets and settlements of fund while you write just "0" in the column for liabilities.This way,you will avoid the unnecessary stress of putting yourself in any bottleneck regarding your assets now or in the future.

guys thanks, sorry if u do not understand my question, i mean in the space provided for ASSET not SETTLEMENT FUNDS am i suppose to quote my total liquid cash asset or include properties etc to come up with a figure.

1. what do dey mean by dat, liquid assets only or property included?
2.if its property included, do i have to submit landed property document as well as their valuation as prof of asset?

Please seniors i need ur advise, will cic frown at my current work experience letter being addressed to "to whom it may concern" and not to cic, cause if i tell my HR dat its for immigration purpose, yawa go gas so am actually thinking of telling them its for something else and that it should be addressed to, 'to whom it may concern"what do you guys think?
