Mightyraw:Very well, bringing the perpetrators to justice is very good. But we begin from where it started. Since last year, these herdsmen have been killing and destroying people's farm, how many of them have been brought to justice? Who has even caution them as they kill with pride? These guys have proven to be more dangerous than Boko harram. Now one of them was killed everybody is crying for justice as if they're more important than any other Nigerian. "He who kill by the sword, ..................". When a politician steals billions, he's celebrated, but when some other person steals #20 pepper, he gets burnt or jailed. And some people call that justice? So far, what has the President say about this killing by the herdsmen, nothing. It pains me when people derive joy doing evil, and when the same evil comes back to them, they cry for justice. Yes, let there be peace, but let the peace start from the initiators of this killing, the herdsmen. |
Mightyraw:And those ones, they ve been killing and raping in their own community are peaceful, right? |
fowosh:And they will die in mass |

NwaEzefuNaMba:Nonsense. Did the step brother tell you that, he in needs peace. And family is she splitting? The same family, she's fighting for; her sisters and her mother. ( that's her family) Your advice is good, but not in this type dispute. |
Good morning Brethren, I had this dream last night, after a long supplication to God through our Lord Jesus Christ. I ended the prayer by asking God to bless me, give me a retentive memory of my dreams and also turn my story to glory, after reading John 2, where he turned water to wine. It's a popular one but whatever took me there, as i read it, my spirit asked me to pray with it. I'm making mention of my prayer last night, just so you know if it's connected to my dream. I don't usually remember anything of my dream but, from the little I can remember of this, I don't take alcohol, but in my dream i found myself in a shop taking Guinness stout ( a bit sweet), in it there was a candle wax I almost swallowed, yet I could not stop but finished the Stout, even though I was not enjoying it. I wake as I was done drinking. I didn't find funny. Prayed in fervently anger and rebuked the spirit that caused me to drink. I went back to bed, had another dream that involved money, I need an explanation, I don't want it to affect my finance physically. I was in my village and wanted to leave for Lagos with a cousin, at the park, we found a luxury bus, paid the conductor or whoever he was that was collecting money and convinced/confused us that, the bus was almost filled. My cousin bought snacks for us, as I was about to take it, I remembered still in the dream that I ate in the dream (the stout I took) while I was not supposed to, so I declined taking the snacks. (I'm still confuse how it worked out that way) After about 3 hrs waiting for the bus to take off, I entered the bus and to my annoyance, only few people were in the bus sleeping. I confronted the conductor, who apologized and told me that the bus will leave by 12pm. I let him know, it wasn't funny, we shall have to postpone our journey till tomorrow and asked him for a refund of our money, he refused but eventually did when we threatened to fight him. (we actually fought him, he surrendered). Others things happened, but I can't remember. My physical money safe? Though I'm not scared, gone are the days when devil make me fret. CharlyG1, Goodmuyis, nnamdiosu, HananHezron Vooks, etc. I appreciate you guys. i have learned a lot from this thread. God bless you. Where are Ana09 and Oyeludef when they are needed? Preach the Holy Ghost to me, I love reading ur posts and you've made me love The Holy Ghost the more. God Bless you all. Hope to meet you some day. |
CharlyG1:In addition to this thread, why don't we also have a whatsapp group where we can be sharing the word of God. |
Pls. can someone verify how genuine is

MRBrownJ:You obviously didn't understand her post, just the same way, your post is not making sense to me. maybe, your looking issue from "the man's world", that's being self-centered. You get to be realistic. Did she need to go go to Dubai, while she has a job on which can comfortably take care of herself and the child? What if she had lost her life when the man was giving all those beatings? What if there had been a miscarriage? And please, I want to your own definition of blackmail. Apparently, you're commenting on a wrong thread. It seems to me, you read something another thread, come here to comment. That's why your comments are line with this thread. |
MRBrownJ:Out of point. |
Amicable24:This is the type of post the op needs. Not those who are rather judging him of depending on his parents. They didn't read where he said, he was offered a job, but his mother stopped him from taking it. that automatically gives him no choice but to depend on his mother to provide for him. Op, follow the advice of this person I quoted. |

[quote author=Smilenw post=44254314]I have said it before and will say it again...Nigerians (for now let's stick to the ones on this forum) are a proud bunch who loves to complain at the drop of a hat . I'm beginning to suspect if its the food, air, modern education or the exposure to technology that has turned this generation to something so terrible. They can't frame a sentence in proper English, spend all their waking hours bragging about things they have barely experienced, while away their life living off one rich/well to do relative, believe they have a luxurious life ahead without moving as much as a small finger for it and blame all and sundry except themselves when they fail to achieve something that remotely resembles a decent life. An employable youngster in Nigeria is becoming more like a myth. Even if the person is educated , he or she will be greedy, egoistic and lazy.I can vouch for the fact that 95% who commented on this thread are not employed. The long narrative describing how I thrashed him, how I put him in his place etc are nothing but figments of imagination. The minute they start their work after years of unemployment will be the minute they start comparing themselves to their bosses. The very man who gave you a chance suddenly becomes your opponent. When you misbehave, its called self respect , putting him in his place, blah blah blah. When the man who has built an organization toiling day and night asks you for something ,he becomes the rude despicable monster. In the OP's story wasn't the OP daft too? Who would t listen to your boss' personal phonecalls? Weren't you taught about privacy ? As if that is not enough this guy kept playing and replaying imaginary scenes in his mind each time he was asked something. I can only imagine what the Oga would have felt. Someone who found time to drink cups of coffee should have definitely found time to munch something, but no ..he wont as he is busy playing the victim. A man is enjoying his AC with the money HE EARNED after going through God knows what, but this fool here compares his own Air conditioner with his oga's within the first month of being employed. How many of you here, including the OP, would give up your own AC and other luxuries for your employees or for that matter your loved ones ? :/ Nobody, I repeat, nobody is born with the perfect life. If they've got the money, they would have some other issue. Learn to turn your disappointment into a blessing. Edited : I took the pain to go through your previous posts OP. You are one haughty egoistic selfish being with worrisome temper issues. I'm sure you are still single or will soon be one with this attitude of yours.[/quote You sound like the boss, Op was talking about. Why are so saddened? |
