Have said it before and will say it again. The reason most of the crimes we see today, from terrorism to banditry and restiveness in the Niger Delta, can't completely be wiped out is because thieves in government benefit immensely from contracts that involving security and defence.

To a typical serving Nigerian General, it is alot more profitable having Boko Haram live for as long as he serves. Should they be eradicated, where then will they get billions to steal in the name of fighting the terrorists?

It is a huge shame to the government of Buhari that this still thrives under his nose and I must say I am hugely disappointed!

These criminals send our gallant boys to go die at the war front while they themselves, I suspect, arm the terrorists with superior weaponry. In the end, all they get is more funds for defence contracts.
