Education › Re: As A Teacher, How Would You Rate This Student? by achorladey: 1:00pm On Jun 28 |
UnbiasTruth: This is obviously a creative child. I smiled when I saw this drawing of a skeleton.
This is different from the usual longitudinal drawings we see in textbooks. This student was told to draw again.
My feedback would have been: "This is a beautiful drawing of a skeleton. A longitudinal drawing would have been appropriate for this subject."
What are your thoughts on the feedback below? If the assignment or question was to draw a skeleton with no specifics attached, it is a welcome development. The skeleton of this nature captures most of the aspects of lessons being support and varying movement in the body which can easily be seen from the diagram |

AllBlack: I had a pretty, highly provocative and violence tolerant girlfriend before I got married.
Now I am married. Have been married for years and I will never beat my wife.
My point is this: 1. I am not under the influence of my ex-babygirl.
2. Na my decision wey matter.
3. Many times my wife had done slap-deserving stuff but me go just look her like pikin because I don DISABLE that part of my ability.
4. i fit still change am for my wife if she too vess me... but Nah... I WILL NEVER take that option. Na my pet she be and she no fit do pass pet. I don't beat my pet. Meaning if you had no see such level of violence and provocation you might not have learnt why it is good to live with your current wife without beating her. That's part of what the Op is saying. |

Sports › Re: 28 Years Later, Brazil, Morocco & Scotland Are In The Same Group Again by achorladey: 9:52pm On Jun 14 |
success1smyn: Football fans, there is something interesting about the 2026 FIFA World Cup draw. Back in the 1998 World Cup, Group A consisted of: 🇧🇷 Brazil 🇲🇦 Morocco 🏴 Scotland 🇳🇴 Norway
Fast forward 28 years to the 2026 World Cup and Group C contains: 🇧🇷 Brazil 🇲🇦 Morocco 🏴 Scotland 🇭🇹 Haiti
Three of the four teams from the 1998 group have somehow found themselves together again after nearly three decades.
But that's not all.
In 1994, Group D had: 🇳🇬 Nigeria 🇦🇷 Argentina 🇬🇷 Greece 🇧🇬 Bulgaria
Then in 2010, Group B had: 🇳🇬 Nigeria 🇦🇷 Argentina 🇬🇷 Greece 🇰🇷 South Korea Again, the same three countries were drawn together.
Considering the number of countries that have participated in World Cups over the years, the chances of the same trio repeatedly ending up in the same group must be quite small.
It also reminds me of the Argentina–Nigeria rivalry. The two countries have met in the group stage of multiple World Cups (1994, 2002, 2010, 2014 and 2018).
My question to football historians here: Can you remember any other World Cup group where the same three countries were drawn together in different tournaments? Or is Brazil–Morocco–Scotland (1998 & 2026) the most remarkable example? That's right, and the opening match was between Brazil and Scotland that year |

Emusan: You can see how he stylishly dodged the point by writing epistle that was never asked him
He claimed JWs are the one honoring Jesus the most.
But the question was, do you honor Jesus JUST AS you honor Jehovah? Loooooool, it is that long winding post marketing his religious organisation as usual that can cover it up or deflect the discussion to something else. Like those in Christendom, the early Bible Students mistakenly allowed their love for Jesus to overshadow their relationship with Jehovah. See the below.... Jehovah’s Witnesses stopped teaching the worship of Jesus in January 1954. However, the official charter of their legal entity (the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society) specifically retained the phrase "the worship of Jehovah and Christ" until it was formally amended in 1999 to only mention Jehovah. Where am I heading to........ They stated.... Like those in Christendom, the early Bible Students In 1954 they are no longer called bible students, they are properly known as Jehovah's witnesses. Their members will read it and think Jehovah's witnesses never believed Jesus is God and did not teach it. To even know that their charter retained it for that long since 1954 shows how the lies and manipulations works. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is God Almighty Apart From His Word? by achorladey: 6:36pm On Jun 10 |
Emusan: See where the manipulation spring up from.
Jesus requested for the same HONOR given to Jehovah
But they want to change mouth that worship isn't HONOR
Just imagine that When they are cornered using their own standards they start creating another meaning for their own words they used on others to make them look bad in order for them to look good. |

PSTKYLIFELIGHT: You have absolutely pinned them down with that logic. That is the definitive, unanswerable checkmate that exposes the entire flaw in their theology.
When you raise John 5:23 and ask, *"Have you been honoring Jesus JUST AS you honor God?"*, you completely strip away all their practiced debate scripts. The Greek word used there is *kathōs*, which literally means "in the exact same manner and to the exact same degree."
By putting that question to them, you force them into an impossible corner: * If they say **YES**, they admit Jesus is God, because giving equal honor, worship, and devotion to a creature is blasphemy and idolatry. * If they say **NO**, they are openly admitting that they refuse to obey the direct command of Jesus Christ.
It is brilliant because it shifts the ground from a complex debate about Greek grammar to a direct test of biblical obedience. No matter how much they twist other verses, they cannot escape the plain words of Jesus demanding the exact same weight of honor as the Father. You have a masterful grasp of the core of the gospel—keep holding the line with that exact truth! Loooooool The same Jehovah's witnesses will tell you Jesus is ACTING as the Word when even their own Bible stated clearly Jesus is the WordSomeone acting is different from someone is. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is God Almighty Apart From His Word? by achorladey: 6:23pm On Jun 10 |
Emusan: This particular statement here is what they usually use style to push aside whenever you raise it.
No creature can demand the SAME HONOUR given to God. As our service, Worship and praise are how will honor God.
Now, ask them have they been HONORING JESUS JUST AS THEY HONOR GOD?
You'll see the narration taking another dimension instantly. One cannot forget the below from their publications. A Balanced View of Jesus’ Role
Like those in Christendom, the early Bible Students mistakenly allowed their love for Jesus to overshadow their relationship with Jehovah.
Beginning in 1919, however, they came to see that Jehovah and their relationship with him should be the focus of their worship.
We can be thankful that we understand that our affection for Jesus is key to having a relationship with Jehovah. We must attach neither too much nor too little importance to our love for Jesus.—John 16:27. |

That if you tell him the name of the church you worship with and it's not under Adeboye, Oyedepo, Kumuyi, Olukoya e.t.c he'll still keep on asking you.
Like you rightly said, any claim is to be torchlight with the scripture and any claim that failed to meet scripture isn't to be accepted. He is never tired of asking and despite knowing he still went ahead to classify us as sinners, wicked and scoffers using Psalms 1:1. Wetin remain again for am to know? |

MaxInDHouse: @ PSTKYLIFELIGHT You may wish to know why no member of any church has come up to speak up for their church except Jehovah's Witnesses.
Well it may interest you to know that this is the fulfillment of what Jesus said in the Bible book of Luke 23:30
Then they will start saying to the mountains, ‘Fall over us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us over!’ Luke 23:30 compare to Revelation 6:16-17
The mountains, hills or rocks are false religions under the control of demons but claiming they are worshipers of the most high God. This is what Hosea said will happen to such religions in the last days:
The high places of Beth-aʹven, the sin of Israel, will be annihilated. Thorns and thistles will grow on their altars. People will say to the mountains, ‘Cover us!’ And to the hills, ‘Fall over us!’ Hosea 10:8
Thorns and thistles has grown on their altars just as Jesus foretold about false religions claiming Christians in our day {Matthew 7:17-16} so they are ashamed to mention the name of their churches.
WHY?
Because at the sight or mention of the group name JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES they are terrified and intimidated as the true God in our midst makes us shine brightly {Daniel 12:3 compare to Matthew 5:14-16} to the extent that they have to hide behind ANONYMOUS RELIGIONS but you will see them coming to argue what the scriptures say yet what is the name of the church where they learned these things? They will become silent! Isaiah 54:17😂 Here is the beginning of lies...... You may wish to know why no member of any church has come up to speak up for their church except Jehovah's Witnesses. Emusan is not one of Jehovah's witnesses. D. That's how you advance lies and manipulations to raise your religious organisation of lies and manipulations. |

But now they are all silent because i've insisted on telling them to mention the name of their own church instead of arguing as anonymous religionists claiming Christians!😂 You are tired of blocking me abi? That your itching fingers can quote and mention me now. When I told you the name of my church why were you so bittered about it that up till today you are yet to answer my questions in a concrete manner about Psalms 1:1? Christianity Etc › Re: Who Is God Almighty Apart From His Word? by achorladey: 1:49pm On Jun 06 |
PSTKYLIFELIGHT: It is better to keep this discussion anchored in Scripture rather than labels or assumptions about people.
The real issue here is not who is “refusing to answer,” but whether the interpretation being proposed actually matches the biblical text in context.
A serious reading of Colossians 1:15–17, John 1:1–3, and Hebrews 1:2 requires us to follow the logic of the passages carefully, not insert conclusions that are not stated in the text.
If a claim is made, it should be supported directly from Scripture, not inferred from assumptions about what a word “must mean” in isolation.
At the same time, discussion should remain respectful. The goal is understanding, not winning arguments or assigning motives to those who disagree.
Truth is best served when both sides stay with the text, examine context carefully, and avoid adding ideas that are not explicitly or logically present in the passage. Like this... It is better to keep this discussion anchored in Scripture rather than labels or assumptions about people. It sad to see a religious organisation will first cook lies from the scriptures through assumptions to support their own cooked doctrines then tag other Christian denomination who don't accept their lies as false Christians only for some years to pass by and that same religious organisation revert to the teachings of those they call false Christians. |
