Timekeeper452: They reached 30k users with 1.5 million on the waitlist and the app isn’t even out but in beta stage. People are yearning for a change from Twitter and that’s the reason for the success on bluesky. Anything to milk your advertisers. Time will tell. |

descartes400: BBC and its likes are not restricted to only one social media platform. They serves their customers across multiple media platforms I.e, Facebook, Instagram etc blue-sky is just an addition. So you follow BBC on Instagram? So I will download BlueSky just to follow BBC? If the corporations are not cooperating to move enmasse (which is impossible) then BlueSky will fail. |

It's one thing to launch an app, it's another thing to divert Twitter users to it.
If BBC moves to BlueSky and their former Twitter followers switch to CNN on Twitter then you are wasting your time. You lose customer + you strengthen your competition.
The customers control the market not the corporations. |

Create an open section and let every ban be automatically posted there.
Let each ban be clickable to view all the ban details.
Show the comment that led to the ban and the attached penalty that was meted out to the offender.
This way we will detect and curb witch-hunting mods. If Seun cannot do this then it means that he deliberately uses bans to control the narratives here. |
