Everything you accused single mothers of, any woman with an ex is guilty of as well. Let’s stop deceiving ourselves. |
zero8zero:...and when militants attempt to blow up oil and gas installations, you and Tinubu go begin cry ![]() |
Why did you not tell Tinubu to go and protest in Osun during the occupy Nigeria protest? 😂 |
"go and start in your region" but you people are always the first to cry when militants bomb your oil and gas installations 😂 |
Too late And he will in a more brutal, chaotic manner. The choice is yours.

Esthered:Another angle 🤭 |
RevenuesBoost:I see. Good to know ☺️ |
Caaz:The major problem is the fact that most of the products we call groundnut oil are actually overbleached palm oil. Groundnut was never part of the process. I always wonder why we allow people sell those roadside oil too. Consumer protection doesn't exist here. Way too many products with false, unknown labels out there. |
Op, are you from the northern or middlebelt region? Snake tomatoes were a thing way back in my teenage years in Kogi. Hardly would you find a home with perimeter fencing without snake tomatoes. In fact, you didn’t even have to plant it, that thing would always find its way crawling on your fence. My mom would always mix it with the conventional tomatoes before blending. I don’t know why it’s not so popular, but it’s certainly not far from our sheeple behaviour and classism as a people. If the rich and affluent don’t eat it, then it’s not good. There’s also the challenge of mismatch between our academia and the marketplace. There are studies dating as far back as 2005 confirming its rich nutritional composition (had to check Google), but as long as our owambe caterers in Lagos don’t use it, the average Nigerian won’t accept it. Same reason why many northern foods are not accepted. It has to come from Lagos, like the overhyped amala that isn’t even among the top 5 favourite foods in other southwestern states (it's always been pounded yam). It just has to come from the Lagos elites and their owambe geng (who prioritise profit over nutrition), otherwise you’re eating trash. |
RevenuesBoost:Are you a Nigerian? Many of our "groundnut oil" are refined palm oil. E.g., mamador, golden penny, etc. |
This is why it’s good to rent an apartment that matches your taste/needs. Some apartments come with solar already installed, though rare. Some places also enjoy steady power or have noiseless generators. I don’t like doing too much in people’s houses. I just wish landlords would start renting fully furnished apartments sef. It makes moving out so much easier. Just pay and move in, and when you’re leaving, pack your clothes and go. I hate unnecessary loads (what we call properties). They become obsolete pretty fast anyway. Most times, more than 80% of the things we call properties are garbage, just occupying space needlessly. Our mothers especially are on this table. Some people are currently managing in an apartment they don't like and they can't even get out because they'll need more than 50 trucks if they ever think of relocating. Kilode? Do you know the cost of solar installation and the cost of decommissioning? Channel that money to a better service apartment that's got all you need. |
You kept his phone, not his life. His phone is not more important than the sustainability of your business. I will trash my phone for my business to survive. You have done no wrong. But if you don't have the mind to run a business or manage someone else’s business, better to quit now and try begging. |
I just dey pity Amaechi-laptop vagabond-gang. They keep defending their doom. |
This is an ideal, realistic wedding, but the urge to please people who are minding their own business, and the need for struggling parents to impress other struggling parents about their children and pass on generational struggles, prevent people from making reasonable, critical decisions. This is what a truly reasonable wedding should look like for couples earning decent figures monthly. If you don't have celebrity money, certain wedding ideas shouldn't even cross your mind. The other option is to get joined by your pastor or priest and then go home. I bet no one would complain or even think much about it. No matter what you do, your guests will never see your wedding as the biggest. By the following weekend after yours, they will still attend another wedding and forget about yours completely. So why stress yourself? Your suit, wedding gown, and aso ebi will be useless after that day. Nobody wants to wear it after that day, and it wouldn't matter whether you picked the best material from Idumota market. It will be useless. Imagine paying heavily for an event centre that looks finer than your home, a home you live and return to everyday, all year round. At what cost? |
Nigerians have seen maximum shege in the hands of these criminals. Imagine killing you and still instructing you to praise them 😂 We should praise stability of suffering and shege? Stability? 😂😂 |
They increased the cost of everything you can imagine by at least 150% in 2 years, but not a single aspect of human development has witnessed such increment. Not electricity, quality of education, roads, security, not even 1. My conviction is that Tinubu agents and supporters were sent directly from hell by Satan to torment sane Nigerians. |
He thought he was addressing his APC dunderheads back home. I bet he's never heard the term "corruption index" |
mommaJ:Oh, don’t give up oo. You can get something very nice in other locations within your budget. Lagos is a small city. You can get to Ikeja from most locations on the mainland in about an hour or less. Ogba, Olaniyi, Abule Egba, Ogudu, Ojota, Ojodu/Berger, etc., to Ikeja are all less than 30–40 minutes. Commute time is basically the same, so you don’t have to limit yourself to a particular area. |
HeatSeeker:Op said she needs a standard bungalow or duplex. Realistically, she needs #10m upwards per annum to get such in Ogudu. Your best bet is to download the Jiji app from apple/play store. Under "apartments for rent", select the state (Lagos), choose the area (Ogudu), number of rooms, condition of the building (old or new house), etc. You will find realistic up-to-date, vacant apartments with their prices, pictures, and agents' contacts.

You don't want entitled football players who represented your country for at least 15 years, but you worship politicians and pay them pension for life for doing a paid job? |
They will tell you that butter or fat is bad, then proceed to mix more chemicals to mimic the "bad" product. Many people may end up harming themselves because of human selfishness. You can hardly find any natural product in the market these days. The one eating boiled corn might think they're living a better life than someone eating canned sweet corn, forgetting that the so-called natural boiled corn was grown to maturity in just a few weeks with heavy chemical fertilizers because someone wants to cash out, and they also know that consumers love "fresh-looking corn" without worm or pests, so they inject heavy pesticides into the seed and the soil for our consumption. Another person will buy highly chemicalized dead fish from the cold room and think they're better off than those eating canned sardines. Ati canned sardine, ati dead frozen kote or Titus, all na same WhatsApp group. |
😭😭😂 |
The anyhowness in Nigeria ehn..! Anyhow government, anyhow citizens. |
All these sponsored, political businessmen sef. |
sunky1983:Leaving an apartment of #2m annually to a e.g., 1.2m will cost him more. Consider the stress of relocation, cost of relocation, agency, agreement/legal and caution fees. Immediate relocation as a short term strategy against distress is a d mb idea. Relax, chill, and figure out other alternatives before jumping out. Only relocate when you're sure that you may never bounce back even if they give you 10 years. If you're in distress, stay where you are unless you're trying to save significant money (e.g., leaving a 2-bed apartment in Lekki to a "face me, I slap you" room in Gboko, Benue State). That's the only way to save money in the short-term. |
descarado:At all, a daughter in-law can't cope. We too dey set unrealistic expectations. |
Go to Oshodi market or katangua market at abule egbaThe obsession with used products, aka, akube and okrika has fried our mental motherboard. Someone is telling you that a pair of jeans is 42k, and instead of asking why jeans cost that much, the immediate solution to you is to run to Katangua market, probably to buy some items used by a drug addict and prisoner who traded his pants for crack in Brooklyn. Is it until you people begin to buy fairly used "akube" coffins before una know say una get serious problems? Who told you everyone wants to wear akube jeans from Yaba and Katangua? Does the inability to afford new clothes (apart from aso ebi) not scare you people? |
