Please let me pick your brains on this matter.

In lagos here, I heard of an arrangement where developers would pool funds from different investors and raise a building, then lease the different apartments to the different investors who paid initially for a tenure of 15-20 years depending on the agreement with the landowner. At the end of the tenure, the building will belong to the land owner and all the tenants will find their way. Please let me know if you have done this or know about it. I'm considering it but it's like I can only see the rewards at the moment. what about the risks?

Okay, I see. My rationale was that the first person was looking for a roommate and the second person quoted that she also wanted same. A self contain around the places they mentioned is between 300-400k, so the could both contribute 200k each and move in. Accommodation is a big issue in Lagos here, worse if you dont have enough money to pay those landlords.

I guess someone (an enemy of JW) told you a lot of lies about JW and the GB. Please erase them from your mind. Maybe it's also fine to tell you, that we can have the bragging right in terms of reading and studying the bible worldwide.
There was a time we had a bible reading schedule that esure we read it cover to cover every two years, not the time has been extended for more thorough study. Why not attend our meeting just for a month, then we can continue from there.

Primarily from the bible. Secondary sources of course would be valuable because of some reasons.
1. Bible was not written in English originally, hence you may need to look for the etymology of some words to gain better understanding of the context
2. You may require other texts written in the same time and region to understand some of the things written.

Thanks, I would assume "perverted" is a compliment. Even is if it's not, then every translation is "perverted" because none of the translations you are using now is the original one written by the bible writers but you have been made to believe some translations over others by your leaders.
However, if you want to consider the KJV, you can read 1 Peter 2:24, and let me know is uses the word cross.
