Morning Mamas.....Greetings to All my e-sisters. Chai, I really missed you all O ooo. Surprised I can be here this early All thanks to breast pump O ooo. I pumped yesterday and refrigerated it. Gave him this morning after his bathe. My guy just slept off. Before now, him for still dey hang for my breast. Now, as am typing this am currently pumping another one now. When am done, will take my bath. If he wakes up by then, no wahala. Will breastfeed him directly . God bless who ever invented this device. Will be able to get a lil more rest at least. I wish I can make the device faster ......

In other news, this Aunty Flow is not loyal O ooo. How can it return just a month after? Abi mama's is it possible for lochia to stop and return 6days later? I wasn't planning to see it for the next 6months plus ooo. Please you people should come and carry it oo

Pls o, yetersday ibwas feeling so uncomfortable and all body pain ,feverish and vomiting went to clinic ,was to to do some test which they later detect malaria 2 lines,they said its on a high side,they initially want to admit me but i decline it.so they place me on injection and some drugs BT this particular drugs I sent am not comfortable with it , maybe its because its I didn't met the senior Dr @ hostipal .I want sabi mamas to help me is it save in pregnancy ?

this is not a malaria drugs. it's an antibiotics used to treat wide range of bacteria. safe for breastfeeding and pregnant women.

Why on earth should an hospital send a woman in labour away, that is very unprofessional and stupid, what if something happens to her, they need to be educated

not just that, they won't even register u for antenatal at 8months pregnancy.

Abuja govt hospital will not take ur delivery or charge u extra so long as u didn't register with them. a woman who was in labour was rushed to asokoro general hospital, they refused to attend to her cos she didn't register for ANC with them. she ended up birthing in a private hospital. u must register with them, if u come in while in labour they will send u away. only private hospitals will accept u and charge u extra. what's ur location? there are good private hospitals in Abuja, don't take because of what happened to a family friend to judge all private hospitals, people also die in government hospitals . my neighbor lost his wife and son in a govt hospital.

that throat pain seems to be in d air now. I had in two days after delivery but it wasn't too painful, I could swallow. my mum have been having it gong to 3weeks Now, she has been taking ampiclox but it still persist. someone recommended chewing piritone but she's yet to try it. the piritone worked for my uncle. maybe u can try it but be ready to sleep

We were taught the method in our home economics/food and Nutrition class in primary 6(center)

Soak the beans for some hours then use your hand to mix like you do when washing, drain the water out and leave outside to sun dry. When it's properly dried just blow the skin off like you do peeled groundnut and take to dry mill. Store in a container and just mix water and the rest condiment whenever you want to make the moimoi or akara.


To be honest I haven't tried it i just buy ready made from the store and use. May just try it when the weather heats up.

mothers are awesome mehn! my mum saw how much I enjoyed eating akara since I took in and after seeing me suffer with peeling beans twice, she surprised me by making beans powder for me to make it easier for me.

for those of us who need pocket friendly manual pump, u can ask for this product, camera breast pump, it's manual. I got it for 1,200 in 2014. the price would have doubled now. currently using it for my second baby.
