Nothing is happening in Customs for now concerning recruitment. Though there was a proposal for dat recently, but there is an internal problem/loggerheads amongst d Ogas within. So anything recruitment in Customs is pending for now.
But if u hv interest just hook up to ur 'strong' source cos they will definitely recruit. Mind u Customs recruitment is always coded unlike NIS. Don't wait for advert or publicity.

vicope: Concerning this immigration recruitment, I seriously do not know what to believe anymore. On thursday, I was at the office of a certain Honorable member till late evening (around 7pm). At the time of leaving the assembly complex, the NSCDC CG, Abolurin was also leaving at the same time. I however realized that both Immigrations, Prisons and Civil Defence bosses were all present at NASS that day.

Not only these people u mentioned were present but all d heads in d Fed. Min,Depts & Agencies(MDAs). Just as jovial99 has emphasized,d meeting was scheduled by d committee members investigating d issue of jobs racketeerings.
The issue of dis immigration recruitment is a settled one & mind u it's only d presidency/minister of interior dat has d right 2 stop d exercise. They are seriously doing d compilation & shortlistment whc will not take much time again. Everything will soon normalise & those who got d reason 2 smile will smile.
God will surely FAVOUR those dat must be FAVOURED.

It doesn't change anything Ada, they are not the first to experience such and they wont be the last, it happens everywhere, even in Civil Defence, but that has not stopped them from recruiting or carrying out the usual replacement exercise. My sister it all depends on where ur coming from and who is standing for you. Some might be relying on an Assistant Inspector or a Superintendent to help him or her, and again some might have a Senator, Governor, Honourables, even people from Presidency itself, it's all about the levels, remember Power pass Power. Soon, it will be sorted out, just relax ok.

Caracta: I had to read the "story" again. Some guys don't even give until you ask. Relationship is about sharing...not just in monetary terms. If he is the type that doesn't share or make sacrifices AT ALL (both monetary and non-monetary), the lady should think twice about the relationship.
