Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Help On Access Bank Aptitude Test Format by AdaezeUS(f): 10:16pm On Apr 28, 2007
I'm not in Nigeria but its real easy in America.  You will sit at a computer and a program will run.  You will see a lady walk into the bank and ask the teller to deposit N1200 into her checking account and receive a balance after the deposit.  The teller will perform the task and you should remember the way she did it. ( you are able to have paper and pencil write down what she did) I think you can also have her repeat the task. Keep in mind the test have not started for you yet, its showing you what its like.  Once the test start, you will have different situations where you have to perform the task, all the task you will see before hand so take good notes.  Don't focus too hard, you will mess up, its common sense.  You are also timed so you must complete the task in the time frame.  You will not know if you did the task wrong, it will just move on once you tell it to move on.  You will also encouter an old lady who have been banking their from the start of the bank, you still must ask her for ID, she will tell you something like "I come here everyweek for 20 years" so, she still needs to give you ID.  This part is multiple choice, choose ask her for ID.  You will also get another customer that will approach you to make a deposit, but she will begin to count coins or money, you either help her or ask her to move over so you can help someone else.  If the lines are very long, ask her to move over, if its not help her. You are there for customer service but you must know when to do and don't.  This is all I can remember, always put yourself in the customer and management shoes this will help you make the right choice.  Also, if you are busy do not let a co-worker side track you or talk to you.  You may also see this in multiple choice, tell him or her that you are busy.  Its a lot of examples but you will do good, you do not have to be smart to pass it.
Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Nigerians In Texas: Hello!!!! by AdaezeUS(f): 9:31pm On Apr 24, 2007
How are things going for you in Texas? Have you found a church home? Have you found an American wife (if single)? Have you found your dream job? Are you in college? Do you plan to stay in America, or go back to your native land? Are you in Southeast Texas (Houston, Katy, Beaumont, Galveston, etc)? Are you in: DFW, Arlington, Austin, San Antonio? Express yourself to others in Texas, give valuable information to your brothers and sisters. What is the best eatery, worst place to live, best place to worship. Have you been discriminated against, have you found favor with others. This is a serious thread for those who want to communicate, you do not have to be a Nigerian, you can be an African American (like me) .

ijogbon you are correct about God visiting the iniquities of sinners for the fourth generations. But remember God said he has mercy on the many who loves him in the next verse. Amen. Thank God for the blood of Jesus.
Car Talk / Re: Teaching Your Wife How To Drive by AdaezeUS(f): 11:59pm On Apr 23, 2007
OUCH!!! my2cents, that was a low blow to American's marriages.
My EX-husband taught me how to drive a little, he was impatient but I was too scared on the bridge to get annoyed by it. It's ok for a man to teach his wife, its not that bad. I say prepare her early on, tell her that she will be driving the bridge first!!! The good thing about learning how to drive in America is that you can leave your husband. LOL LOL. grin
Its a joke, I'm messing with "my2cents".

P.S. Over 60% of marriages in America ends in divorce because of infidelity and abuse, I rather be a happy African American waiting for her God sent husband, then dead in my grave trying to beat the odds:-Xn
Politics / Re: How To Stop 419? by AdaezeUS(f): 11:41pm On Apr 23, 2007
MP007, very good suggesting. I really do feel sorry for the good Nigerians, their chances of exploring other parts of the world may be hindered because of someone else wrong doings. I don't know how many Visa's the U.S. will grant, especially with the rate of 419 orginating out of Nigeria.
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Has Hired A Private Detective To Investigate Me! by AdaezeUS(f): 11:25pm On Apr 23, 2007
Razorr, don't be alarmed if you are true to him. Is he from the U.S. I'm from the U.S. and I can understand how he feels, especially with all the 419 going on. If he is American, its without a doubt that he has some feelings for you and is afraid of being hurt. I don't know if its true love, but he is trying to find a way to protect himself. I dated a guy from Nigeria and I knew someone that was willing to do research for me also. So it may not be a "PI", but trust me there are people out there willing to help people abroad get the info they need. To be real, I helped a Nigerian find out that a woman from the U.S. was in a relationship with somone else and did not love him. So it very capable that he has someone that he has developed a trusting relationship with. I hope you love him and is honest with him, he seems like he is on the defensive side, find him out, try and alleviate his concerns, be patient with him. By all means, don't break it off, not yet at least. All of this is coming from an African American perspective cheesy

Bocamadias it's everyone dream to become rich, but that is not what God has for us. He has called us into wealth, he has declared that the wealth of the wicked is layed up for the just. Just remember that God can and is willing to supply all of your needs according to his riches and glory, but you must first seek the kingdom of God and his righteousness before all these things can be added. Let me leave you with this, people can not be delivered, healed, or set free from bondage until they confess it. For the truth shall make your free. For you to spill all, means you are crying out for an escape, you may not admit it but psychology will prove me right. You have time to repent, I would hate to see my brother/sister end up in hell with Satan. I know some Americans are greedy and deserve it, but you are not the ultimate Judge, God is. I'm American, African-American and would hate to know that maybe someone from my blood line is so evil. You can have all that you desire and sleep at night feeling good about who you are, you can Boast in the Lord because you have wealth. It feels good to be honest, it feels good to build a home, it feels good to lend money and not borrow, but you have to do away with lies, deceit, evil, and greed. How do you feel? Can you honestly say that Yahooing makes you feel good about who you are. Can you express yourself and feel confident that you won't be misjudge? I didn't think so!!! I'm not judging you, I have a heart for Nigerians, I love one but can't be with him because of the bad image in America. You are causing my heart to bleed because I can't be with the man I love,. I can't love him, because I'm afraid he maybe you, or he may abuse me and I will never know how happy we COULD have been.

Money is not EVERYTHING, but LOVE is!!!!!!!!!! Help me to help you. Please die off to your flesh and begin to walk in the Spirit smiley

P.S. There is no other men in the World like Africans, they are strong and courageous men, live up to it. Be true to who you are!!! Be encourage, Jesus died just for you cry
Romance / Re: Romance Novels Making Nigerian Girls Hard To Get by AdaezeUS(f): 6:50pm On Apr 14, 2007
Dirax, why do you say it takes 1 minute to get a girl in the US? I am African American in the US and I beg the difference. If you find someone that you like then you make up your mind to know them a little further. There are still women in America that is looking for real love, not just Hollywood love or Novel love. Trust me I know, you have to be in my presence longer than 1 minute for me to make up my mind about you. Love is not easy, and I find it harder and harder looking for a Nigerian Man. Don't get me wrong, I have met some, but its been a minute. LOL

You are correct, prayer does work. God will not withhold any good thing from those who ask and love him. I know that God already knows my heart and still feel like I need to be looking. Sounds kind of rebellious doesn't it? He can be divorced, single, or a widower. Preferable between the ages of 28-37, I said Houston because I'm close to that city. I'm not looking oversees because its too much uncertainty, and you are right the houstonian may not be the guy God has for me.

How long have yall been together, give history on yall relationship. You have to tell her if you have a secure future if its rocky then relieve her of any mishaps. I never been in your situation and don't know what ill do if someone i loved told me this. I know I just cant leave this person, unless its rocky. I'll be 27 this month, my God. I've put myself in your shoes. I know its not over, you can live a lifetime. Keep taking meds, exercise and create a healthy diet. find the HIV/AIDS forum and there are even people looking to marry with the same illness. Trust me above all God wants to prosper you. God afflicted Job for his glory, and whatever God does to you its for his glory. You or someone may say "why would God give you this illness for his glory"? God did not GIVE it to you, he ALLOWED you to catch it b/c of a door of iniquity, sin, or those things that is not pleasing to God. Remember Job was the only person in the bible underneath Jesus who was upright and never sinned. so he has a different story. BUT for you, God is still the same today, yesterday and forever more. So even though God ALLOWED this disease, WATCH how God use you in a mighty way. Watch how your faith increase. Watch how your prayer life increase. What how you relationshiop with God grow. Watch how you begin to hate sin as God does. JUST WATCH. Trust me, I'm not a prophetess, I;m just telling you WATCH!!! For his (Jehovah) name sake he will heal you. Your healing may or maynot manifest in the nature (in your body) but watch your spirit man rise up and take dominion. Amen. Dont worry, God got your back!!! All God wants us to do his turn from our wicked ways and seek him. Matt 6:33. OOH and when the devil remind you of your condition, remind him of the buring lake of fire that he, death and hell will be cast into. AMEN. The devil will burn in the lake of fire forever. Aren't you GLAD, your enemy will suffer, aren't you GLAD that your mortal body will pass away and you will receive a glorify body through Christ. In HEAVEN there is no sickness, disease, sorry, pain, worries, bills, depression, medicines, etc. BUT ALL PRAISES!!!!! God be with you. I'm blessed to have blessed u today

Antone, that was a good movie. I did not see the whole movie but I am glad that after all the abuse he was able to open himself up to love and overcome resentment and anger. What part of Lagos are you from?

Radiant, as you may know that the visa requirements in US has changed this week, so there is no info that can be useful now. But all is well with me and my man, as long as he wants me around I will be. Something tells me that he does not want to loose me due to a "visa", so we will work hard at our meetings. I plan to get a visa and come to Lagos in April 2007. I was actually looking for visa info on him, I know it wont take me a long time to get cleared to come to Nigeria. Adaeze is real cheesy

2legit, thanks for sharing your education. But I am well aware that we have 7 continents and Africa is one. smiley I'm shocked that so many people do not believe me, but I guess when you deal with so many fake people its hard to decipher through. But you know that is when discernment comes in. My story is not all that interesting to me for someone to find it mind blowing or to even think that it is fantam. I'm just a ordinary person that has found herself in love with a Nigerian man. I was not looking to be put on the chopping block, but a little advice. It's alright. No problem.

Radiant, don't know what you are asking me. I'm not referring to any origin, if you are "black" in America than you are African America. The term "your grammar ain't nothing to reckon with", means that its not impressive. Should I assuming that you are impressed with my grammar?
Romance / Re: Nigerian Man Loves US Woman by AdaezeUS(f): 1:20am On Jan 21, 2007
Well Desiree, he met me in a Christian chat room. We started out just communicating but we soon found each other interesting. Now for your question "why would a Nigerian man that lives in Nigeria be interested in you -apart from the obvious reasons?" There will always be questions, for instance. Why am I in love with a Nigerian when I can marry a good rich man in the U.S. Look Desiree, love have no destination, it has no motives, nor does it has right or wrong. My Nigerian loves me because I am a God fearing women that share the same morals as he does. At times I wish that I have never met him, it would be easier for me to go on with my life, but I want to see where our relationship goes, I owe this to me and to him. I have to be with him, I just have to!!! I don't want to love this man in-vain, I want to see the outcome of this thing. There is no real answer to love because it does not deals with the fives senses. You cant see love, you cant taste love, you cant hear love, you cant smell love, you cant touch love. Trust me, anyone claiming to, has been watching Hollywood too long. Love is intangible, its in the heart. Let me know when you get the chance to feel your heart-this is when you will have a true answer to the love that u feel. The bible declares to guard your heart because it holds the issues of life. See even God knows where true love lives. Nigerian bound flight 787 wink-Adaeze.

Let me just say that there are some real ungodly people that has responded to me. shocked I wont give the enemy the pleasure by responding. In this life you never know who you are talking to and you wonder why God has not prosper you. Anyway I'm not concern about the 419 scam, my Nigerian man loves me and has never asked me for any money. I know that my best info will come from INS, but I thought that some mature, legal minded "people" would have some inside info that I need to present to INS. But anyway- thanks for nothing. And I am not a fake, my man gave me this Igbo (Ibo) name meaning King's daughter. Remember God is King of all Kings, watch what comes out of your mouth. And Macgreat if you do not know Jesus I bid you to learn of him today, you don't want to be "left behind" while you type such ungodly words. By the way my real name means God is gracious.
