Politics / Re: Imo State Not An Emirate - Imo Indigenes Blast Okorocha by Adannaify: 5:26pm On Feb 13, 2018
Irukkanews:
Imo State indigenes have described the decision of Gov. Rochas Okorocha, fondly called okoro-awusa to support his son-in-law,Uche Nwosu to succeed him in 2019 as mere hallucination. According to them, what Okorocha should know is that Imo state is not an emirate.

They said that the last thing that would happen in Imo State is Okorocha's in-law succeeding him in 2019
Speaking while reacting to the development, the President of Imo Peoples Assembly(IPA),nPrince Ignatius Ozaraebuka said that for entertaining the thought that his son-in-law would succeed him, Gov. Okorocha is indeed living in fools paradise. Prince Ozaraebuka who hails from the same town with Okorocha said that the governor has been running Imo State like an annex of Rochas Foundation.

However, he said that 2019, would mark the end of everything Okorocha in Imo State, adding that the governor and his entire house hold would be consigned to the dust bin of history. According to him, the governor has been committing a lot of atrocities in the state and getting away with them, simple because the members of the state House of Assembly are his lap dogs. He said that making his son in law the next governor is a fight he can never win. Prince Ozaraebuka said that there is no way Imo indigenes would fold their hands and watch Okorocha build a political dynasty with all the embarrassment and shame he is bringing to the state .

According to him, any time Imo State is in the news, it is always for wrong reasons due to Okorocha`s follies.
He said if Okorocha is in tune with reality, he would have know that Igbo land does not support god fatherism, let alone political dynasty. According to him, Okorocha still thinks that Imo State is the emirate that he was born and bred in the north. He said the governor should stop using Imo state for reality show and wait for his tenure to elapse so that he would pack and leave state for good.

"Gov. Okorocha has lost touch with reality. He thinks that Imo State is like the emirate that he was born and bred in the north, where the emir and members of his family constitute the ruling class. If he has sense of history, he would have known that Igbo land devours god fathers because of our republican nature. So, he is just living in fools paradise.

He has been committing all manner of atrocities in the state and getting away with them because the people that we have in the Imo State House of Assembly are his lap dogs. But making his son in law the next governor of Imo state is an impossibility which he, himself knows. So, he is just creating controversies to get attention. You know that he likes publicity. The other day, he said that he was the most popular governor in Nigeria. He don’t even know the difference between being popular and being notorious.”

This is a litmus test for my IMO state people. If ndi IMO allow this man get away with this and install his son in law as the next governor, I will by anambra indigene form.
In my state, obiano needs to groom a successor that's not more than 40 years.

Imo people, enjoy your change! Na Roaches... Sorry Roachas una know abi? cheesy grin

Mind you, if Rochas succeeds on this quest, immediately imo state turns to Kwara. He becomes the godfather of imo state and dictates who goes and who stays. It becomes the voice of Jacob, but the hand of Esau.
From what the governor has put on ground in that state, in 2019 imo state will need continuity in compliance with the wishes of the imo populace.

Politics / Re: Stop Associating Fulanis With Killer Herdsmen - Rochas Okorocha by Adannaify: 2:43pm On Feb 12, 2018

@POLITICSNGR

Governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha has called on the general public to stop associating Fulanis with Killer Herdsmen.

Okorocha on Sunday said that it would be wrong for anyone to link the Fulanis to the killings by herdsmen in the country.  PoliticsNGR gathered that he defended the Fulanis while addressing members of the Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim led by its supreme head, Solomon Alao, during a courtesy visit to the government house, Owerri.

Speaking on whether the Imo State Government has created a cattle colony, proposed by the Federal Government, Okorocha, said there was a cattle market in the state and not a cattle colony, stating that the state government encouraged indigenes to go into cattle business because it was lucrative and that government would continue to support them with provision of ranches.

The governor also said it was absolutely wrong to link the Fulanis with the killer-herdsmen, pointing out that the herdsmen who kill should be treated as criminals, and should not be used to stigmatize the Fulanis, whose men and women had largely contributed to nation-building.

“The fact remains that no one in this country has the right to take another person’s life in whatever disguise. For herdsmen to kill anybody is not right and that must be condemned,” he said.

The governor is right. Not all Fulani's are pastoralists/herdsmen. Some are into oil and gas, rice farming etc

Kudos to governor wike for continuing Amaechi's uncompleted projects, most of which had attained 80% completion b4 wike came onboard. But Mr wike refused to play politics with most of the projects and that's commendable. Thats the spirit of development.

By the way, why did Okorocha govt abandon work on the Orlu Stadium which it started before Okigwe stadium?

Prince Hotel Orlu never took off above foundation laid by former Imha speaker.

People in Orlu continue to inhale dust and move in mud from abandoned road works of Okorocha govt.

Rocha's Okorocha VS Orlu Main. He is fighting nastier, and compromising the future development of entire Ideato nation.
A Liar spotted. Okorocha is doing well. Encourage the man ,so he can do better. All these your criticism is getting to look more personal. Na wao. Abi you no get eyes again? The pictures on this thread about improvements under okorocha's govt are many. Commend him for the plenty he has done, then you can ask for plenty more

ACE1010:

My brother you are ignorant of what is going on as far as the fuel scarcity is concern. I'm not a politician, neither am I supporting APC or PDP. But truth be told. The marketers are the one responsible for this artificial scarcity. Could you believe that DPR went to OandO filling station at Lekki?? And when they were told to open their reservoir, the refused only to discovered that they had 45000 litres of fuel, yet refused to sell even with more than 100 customers queuing, and when the DPR officials was about sealing the station, the manager appeared from nowhere with tugs and threatened beat them up.
So my brother APC or whatever did not scam anybody. It's Nigerians scamming Nigerians!!
I don't think someone will refuse to sell his goods at a profit. Truth is they were being forced to sell at a loss.

I can see that you always intoxicated before you type gibberish and rubbish here.
Useless Rochas banned keke even inside the suburbs of Owerri Town, Where are the Buses you earlier advertised here? Your Blackbuses
It is a pity you are mentally unstable cos the same India you are quoting is where your good for nothing Rochas emulated his nonsensical Ministry of Happiness from. Google is your Friend.

Next time you want to talk, get your facts from people on Ground.

There is no Rochas Bus running anywhere in Owerri town, yet he is impoverishing the unemployed youths in Owerri.

Rochas promised to build industries when he was busy cruising round the whole world under the guise of economic tour, after how many years from his so called sojourn, no Industry has been seen in Imo state, except hotels and beer parlour.

Owerri, will witness Unprecedented no of Robberies, Kidnapping in recent days to come. I beleive that will make you and your Master Happy.

Then , he will Kpuola you, as one of his statues.

A merciful leader should have repaired the Orlu-Ihialla road and asked federal govt for refunds.
But no, our Imo state governor is rather building streets with eight lanes and flyovers and underground road tunnels, and bypasses in Owerri.

From the above, owerri is actually becoming finest city in Nigeria like abuja municipal or lagos island. Wow kiss
