Just logged in to change my venue and the arrows that bring the drop-down list to select the venue aren't responding. Seems like a generic error. Don't really know what to do to be honest. |

Hi guys, Thanks a lot for this thread. Got a link for my personality test yesterday which I completed this afternoon. Just got an email now again this time around inviting me for a personality test and then an aptitude test. Please help me out here, I have already written the personality test, why am I being invited for another one? Also I applied from the United Kingdom where I am presently and indicated that in my application. But the email I just got gave me Port-Harcourt as my application centre. Please what do I do? How can I go about changing my test centre please? Is there anyone in the same boat? Thanks a lot. |

I also wanna say that when applying for a student visa, if you have genuine documents and have fulfilled their financial requirements you do not have to be afraid. My degree certificate from university contained a short form of my names, for instance, Ada Nuella Nwachukwu while my passport ofcourse contained my full names "Adanne Emmanuella Nwachukwu", so well naturally I heard a lot of comments such as my visa application would be rejected blah blah blah. The thing is the Entry Clearance Officers aren't machines, they are reasonable human beings and if you prove the two names refer to the same exact person then you are good to go. I explained my situation in the additional information section and then submitted two affidavits (they cost next to nothing); an affidavit sworn before the court and one sworn before a Notary Public. The decision of my visa approval came in four working days. So yeah, just wanted to point that out for future applicants cos it gave me a few sleepless nights before I applied. Best wishes to everyone. May God use us to move Nigeria forward. Amen. |

Just wanted to give an update on the situation of things concerning passport collection. Left Teleperformance Ikeja a few minutes ago, finally got my documents from them together with a few other people that applied on the same day with me at Ikeja VFS on September 25th. Relieved and grateful. The funny thing is I got there by 3:20pm and was told my documents hadn't arrived yet. Was so disoriented but knew I was going to stay till the day was over and I knew no package could possibly arrive again. Few seconds later I saw two guys coming in with Fedex bags! Well yeah, passports had arrived! Thanks to everyone who replied my questions and lent assistance. Best wishes to everyone. |

Olisedinma: Hi, just left Teleperformance. They said the passport isn't with them yet. I think what they do is bulk the passports up to send at once. I'm going to check again by 12pm tomorrow. |

Just got back from Teleperformance to collect my passport, no luck again this is so sad wish I didn't even waste precious transport money. These people sha, they should know their inefficiency will also be done back to them when they really need something so bad themselves. What goes around comes around. I don't know how it takes 5 working days, meaning a week to transfer something from Abuja to Lagos. They aren't even helpful at all. You ask them further questions and all they say is it takes five working days. It just dawned on me that they bulk the passports up till they are plenty enough to send so that they save costs. Ofcourse they don't care that people are missing school or even losing admissions cos of that. We paid 90k for a visa and you can't even send a 4k Fedex package to us without thinking of subsidizing costs. Please anyone who got an approval mail on October 2nd or 3rd please also share your experiences as to your passport collection. Thanks a lot. |

Hi everyone, good morning. Please is it possible that those of us who got approval mails by Thursday this week can go and check Etiebet's place by Wednesday next week for collection of our passports? Is it probable they batched all passports for this week and dispatched them to be received on Wednesday? Thanks for response. Got an approval mail Thursday midnight and want to know if I can check Etiebet's place for my passport on Wednesday. |

alizenbohr: Hi, thanks a whole lot for your response. But it's so daunting that it takes five days from Abuja to Lagos. These people aren't being honest unless the documents are coming from the UK which it isn't. It's either they are piling and then sending the documents in bulk or they are using the post office, only reason it should take five days. Goodness! I sympathies with you tho, I know it's frustrating considering I'm in the same situation. May God help us, don't even know what to say. Wish the BHC in Abuja could just leave our documents with them then we come for pick up. Have you done anything about tracking your documents on teleperformance? Just wondering how they can conveniently say it takes 5 working days making it seem like we are not serious for expecting it in two working days even though that's what our approval email clearly states. |

Hi everyone, good afternoon. Please this question is directed to people who applied with VFS Ikeja and got approval mails stating they should track their documents through Teleperformance and have actually collected their documents. Firstly, please how many days after your approval mail did it take to get your documents? Please, did you collect your documents from Teleperformance or VFS in Ikeja? Also, did you receive an email from Teleperformance telling you your documents were ready for pickup? Fourthly, did you ever track the location of your documents on Teleperformance website? I know this is a lot of questions but please help me out Really appreciate it, thanks! |

goldendraco: It's ridiculous, so unheard of. It's only in Nigeria these kind of things happen, no sympathy for applicants whatsoever. Wanted to tell the BHC to please keep my passport with them and I'll come get it myself but their numbers were not connecting me to any staff and I heard it's a breach of contract on their part not to return the passports to the VAC. But whatever the case is, they should have a better way of giving us these documents. FedEx delivers to Lagos from Abuja that same day so I don't know what is really happening. I believe you should check on wednesday morning, it should be there by then. Also, is it Teleperformance we are collecting it from or VFS Ikeja? |

goldendraco post=/post/26831862: Eyaa. So sorry, it sucks a lot, I know how you feel. Really horrible. Have you been able to track with Teleperformance? Cos I wish they could say where exactly the documents are and as ridiculous as it sounds, allow us go an collect the documents from there by ourselves. Instead of waiting for these Teleperformance people to hand it over to us. |

mystogan post=/post/26831836: Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. I applied with VFS Ikeja so I only just created an account for the purpose of tracking this morning. When I click on track application it says I can start a new application so that's where I get confused. |

smakati: Good day peeps, Hi Smakati, I submitted on the 25th of September at VFS Ikeja and I received an approval mail from them around 12:54am this morning. Refresh your email and if you still haven't received it, be calm. I am positive you will still get it today. Take care. |

smakati: Hi Smakati, I know how you feel it's so sad. I really pray they contact us today. Don't know what else to do but pray especially since it doesn't seem like there's anyone to contact about this. How come you got a text message though? Didn't get any. Asked them that day if I could pay the 400 naira for their text message alert but they said they don't do it anymore. Also, the Deputy High Commission is the one in Lagos but I thought all student visas were processed in Abuja? I really pray they contact us today by God's grace, let us not lose hope. Was hoping mine would take 3 working days like someone's own on this thread but that would have been Tuesday. Still praying we will be contacted today. Resigned from work on Monday. Has to just resign, couldn't concentrate anyway. |

Hi everyone, good afternoon. Please I am new to this thread but want to say it helped me immensely in my UK student visa application last week. Thanks everyone. Please I want to ask if there's anyone that applied last week Thursday, 25th of September at VFS Ikeja that has heard anything at all from the BHC or VFS. My school has resumed already and I'm so worried cos I don't even have a decision on my visa application yet talk less of collecting the passport. Please anyone with useful information should let me know. Thanks a lot. Tried contacting BHC Abuja today at 10:41am and the prompter kept saying their opening hours are between 10am to 12 noon and there's no one to speak to me. This is kind of confusing considering I called during their opening hours. |
