Unknown to d wife, family had moved against d benefits, instructed PM not to grant.( i ask myself, is this d best way to treat a widow? Even if she would travel out wt d children, is dis d best step? )

So far d PM had battled d issue, they debunk d cancellation of d benefits after a counter order which requested for some doc frm d deceased bro which he could nt tender.

Few hours ago wife was served a copy of letter from the family lawyer to pension M. not to pay her. PM jus fulfill formal notice and also granted d benefits before she got d letter or both almost same time.
Thk God family was nt above d law, this is naija. This is jus d beginning, we pray african/black lawyers are nt invited.

The police have arraigned a 36-year-old chef,
John Akpan, for allegedly removing a
policeman’s upper tooth with a headbutt.
The incident occured during an argument
between Akpan and the policeman, Inspector
Atoe Frederick
It happened at about 5.50pm in the Olojojo,
Oworonshoki area on Saturday.
The defendant was arraigned before a Chief
Magistrates’ Court, Yaba, Lagos on Monday.
Akpan was said to have obstructed the police
officer while he performed his duties.
It was learnt that Akpan refused to obey
Frederick’s orders which thereafter
degenerated into an argument between the
duo.
However, Akpan was said to have given
Frederick a headbutt in the mouth.
This action was said to have resulted in the
removal of one of Frederick’s upper teeth.
The defendant was subsequently arrested and
arraigned in court.
Akpan was arraigned on one count.
The charge read, “That you, John Akpan, on
June 20, 2015, along Olojojo, Oworonshoki,
Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did
obstruct and assault AP No 154905 Inspector
Atoe Frederick, attached to Oworonshoki
Division while performing his lawful duty by
giving him a headbutt resulting to the removal
of one of his upper teeth, inflicting injury in
his mouth and thereby committed an offence
punishable under Section 172 (B) of the
Criminal Law Of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011.
The defendant pleaded not guilty and elected
summary trial.
According to the Investigating Police Officer,
Sergeant Femi Adesuwon, the victim was
admitted at the General Hospital, Gbagada,
Lagos.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs. A. O. Soladoye,
admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of
N250, 000 with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till July 22 for
hearing.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and

in the Presidential Villa on Tuesday.

Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, said the
party’s views should be respected.
Also speaking, the Edo State Governor,
Adams Oshiomhole, said that every one of
them, including the Senators, were elected
on the APC platform not as individuals,
stating that the party’s position must be

she cant change their names, the family is jus raising false allegations,in other to have a hold or issue. Although they are young and the kids hv travelled twice before their father death, i doubt if she would change their names. The lesson here is, marry ur tribe! What led to d allegation is dat they believe hausa girls don't mind to change kids name if found in similar situation, which a family member confirm true having witness similar case in sokoto. So if anyone is having this kind of project, pls prepare more cash than d actual otherwise u may end up borrowing or abandon d project when u only need lik 50k to finish up an aspect, and d workers wont lik dat. When u abandon, u will spend double of dat 50k u didnt prepare.
