I got married into overcomers church six years ago.I want to make a point of correction dat our marriage couselling team are not a bunch of rubbish.D lessons i received since then is still helping me in my marriage.What happened is a situation of lie and deceit from the man.He is not a member of our church.Sis Uloma is not pregnant and our church does not wed pregnant women.We have learnt from dis to investigate couples clame before marriage

Dear Nairalanders,what matters in marriage is the compactibilty blw u and the person u are getting married to.Two the immediate family of both sides acceptance not tribe.

I am an Igbo woman married to an Akwa Ibom man.i have never regreted it for one minute.His family are nice.

My husband and his family are good christians and does not even beleive in some of the things their people beleive in which i belive that is what matters most.
Even when u marry someone frm the same tribe with u and they are core traditionalist,u will still experience some of the bad side of the tradition.

So i categorically say that marriage is not about tribe but about both parties.

I am a career woman with a family.I put my family first but at the same time i don't allow my job to suffer.Though it is not easy,cos i work so hard both work days and weekends.

I use weekends to prepare for workdays.Getting everything my family needs and doing all the cooking,store them in the fridge,spend time with my family.

In summary when things are planned well it makes it easier.

Seeing play around me and run around the house,i said to my self all the pains are worth it.

Please Dr,i had my baby through C section on the 27th Jan.2008 and me and my hubby have decided that we will wait till our baby is 2+ before i get pregnant again.I have met my doctor who explained all the methods of family planning to me and the onlt one i fell like using is the IUC ie insertion method,but i,m scared of the side effect and secondly this is my first baby and i will not want to have problems when i decide to take in again.

My hubby does not like using condom and i have stopped breast feeding my baby.

Nairalanders i believe we are all mature people.Please if u dn,t like someones opinion about an issue just add ur own opinion and stop calling people names.

Mine was a different case.From the first month to the last month i was as strong as ever,eating well,i never vomitted.i spit occassionally.
sometimes i will just be so week.

But during the delivery,i saw the other side of it.i was in labour for 3 days and my cervix did not dialet more than 4cm.i was induces affter the water has broken for the labour to hasten up,all to no avail.When the Docter noticed that the heart beat of my baby was reducing he opted for CS.

I thank God That i can now look at my lovely baby and i dnt remeber all those pains during and after child birth.

My husband was there with me,the Doctor did not allow him to come in since it was a CS.he was peeping from the window.

My dear,some men are like that.they are not ggod in keeping the house and appreciating ur effort.My hubby does the same but he helps me out in cooking sometimes but washing and arranging the house is ZEro instead he scatters.I will advice u to talk to him about it but if he does not improve,my dear do it with all chearfullness and know u are the builder of that home.Whatever u make of it ,thats what it will become.
The issue of him not anwsering ur greeting,just try and talk to him in a softly way may be ,he is having some problem in the office.

Marriage is sweet if u as a woman knw hw to build ur home.Don,t expect ur hubby to behave like somebody,s bubby.don't compaire.Priase him for the things he is doing right and please, dont nag cos it does not work for men.

I go to work like my hubby but i take is as my duty to keep my house clean and cook for the family.It does not matter if i sleep late.But i do it at my own pace,not overworking myself.
