Bro please move out if you can. I'd have loved to say report him to the police or cyber crime's unit of the efcc while pleading anonymity but unfortunately we are in a lawless country and that single act of yours may boomerang. I understand you are trying to be civil and I respect that but don't get your family in a position where you'll always be watching your shoulders for the rest of your lives. So even if this advice sounds cliched you should really mind your business and focus on giving your family a better life.

On the flip side though, if you can get a sure contact of the authorities online viz email, Instagram, fb or phone number etc keep on sending anonymous messages including details of address and how he can get caught to them till you get a reply. Do not use anything that can be traced to you.

I'll still strongly suggest ignoring everything. May God guide you.

On Friday night, David Ntekim- Rex , a young tech developer who just passed out from NYSC last year was robbed and shot by armed robbers on his way back from work at Jibowu, Lagos.

David was shot around 8pm. The police were called. David hadn't died yet. But the Police stood and watched as he gasped for air. They took pictures instead and were more concerned with why he a tech was carrying a laptop.

David was taken to the military hospital around the area, but the nurses ignored him. The doctor came around and kept on asking who they all were. I took the intervention of a senior nurse to come out and start checking his pulse. He had lost a lot of blood at this point.

The police then took David and his family to sabo to look for the laptop he had on him. No police report had been filed yet. The police officers were reportedly tipsy and kept on being unreasonable.

He was finally released to his family. They managed to get to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) where still received some rounds of neglect.

David wasn't attended to by the doctors at LUTH.
He laid there waiting till the family were convinced that he couldn't be alive because he had no pulse. The doctors refused to administer any test to confirm if he was still alive.

David passed on that period.

Friends, family, former teachers, and colleagues of David have all expressed their shock and sorrow of the sudden avoidable demise of the promising lad.
