They have been protected enough. They've mis-used the opportunity given to them since the days of Buhari when the importation of food was stopped. What we need as citizens is for the prices of the food items to crash. If they want to open back the border for food importation, we don't care. Many of these so called farmers are greedy. So many interventions have been put in place in by the past government just to ensure that the price is crashed and their interest been protected at the same time. But what happen after their harvest, they sold the same harvest to our neighbouring countries because of the exchange rate. treesun: https://dailytrust.com/farmers-fg-disagree-over-drop-in-food-prices/ |

I blame those that still subscribe to Multichoice services. There are so many other options available for Nigerians. We don't need all these grammar. I can't even remember the last time I've subscribed on their decoder and I still enjoy good programs on tv. Even better than their channels where they repeat one movie multiple times. Didi2d: On this one. Nigerian government has failed us.
Dstv and gotv see Nigerians as mugu that's why they increase their subscription almost every month and our government just dey look without doing anything.
If dstv can operate pay as you watch in south African, why can't they replicate it here? |

All these your Epistles. IBB was in the best position to handover the power to MKO that year, but he failed to do and handed to it Hernest Shonekan. Known fully well what would happen. jaxxy: IBB did not lie.
I believe now that Abacha was either fully or partly behind the annulment of June 12. For various reasons I will list now.
1, When IBB handed over power to an interim government. Abiola was still fighting for his mandate, He never accepted the annulment.. Ibb did nothing to abiola cos they were actually friends.
2. It was Abacha who after forcing Sonekan who was interim president to step aside in a peaceful coup that now ordered arrest of Abiola, IBB was no longer in power nor interested in power. Abacha could have fixed the problem since he was in power since he knew everything about it but choose to show he was either the mastermind or partly involved and went further to finish the job cos he was power hungry.
3. Abacha wanted power and would definitely not let abiola have it. IBB was indifferent but went along with the strongest influence (just like buhari did in 2023 elections) and let Abacha have his way or go with his idea... Both IBB and Buhari are like Pontius pilate.
They don't commit the crime but they allow the crime to be committed and do nothing to stop it.
4. IBB despite being president at the time cannot act alone on a decision of such magnitude. He consulted with people. Who were they? Abacha was one of them surely.
5. If IBB was evil, which he was, Abacha was evil pro max. |

I feel for you brother. Please concentrate on your skill acquisition for now. When everything is normal, your wife will bring your daughter to you. It's hard though, but everything will be okay. GeorgeForeman: I had to create a new account specifically for this post.
Today makes it 7 months my left with my kid.
I married my wife in feb 2021 in a low key ceremony.I have known my wife for years before get married to her as we lived in same compound. She is from Imo and I am from Enugu state. She is 23 and i am 26
We have a daughter together.Trouble began about 7 months after my daughter was born,my wife always complained i dont give her enough money for upkeep.I work as a security guard for a company earning 75k monthly.Out of that 75k,I remit 40k to her monthly for upkeep. She is a school teacher but i don't really know how much she earns.
Given the situation of things in the country,I know she may be right when she says the money i give her isn't enough but i am genuinely trying my best.it hasn't been easy.
Asides from her nagging about upkeep money,my wife is a good woman. She cooks and takes good care of our daughter.
Things got worse when the company i was working for folded up.I think the owner got involved in some shady deals and the company building and assests were confiscated.I was without a job for some time and we were surviving on my savings and and some menial jobs i was getting.
Times were hard.I opened up to my wife that i want to learn cctv And solar panel installation.I viewed this as a good skill to learn and have.I enrolled and i am an apprentice now learning alongside some other boys.
My wife couldn't bear any longer and she left with our kid without informing me.I have called her mom to beg.She said she will talk to her.I don't even know where she is though i heard she stays with her aunty.
I have begged her to return home to no avail. The issue is affecting me emotionally and mentally.I mean i'm already having a hard time trying to learn this skill, why should my wife add to it?
I really need the encouragement and warmth of my wife especially now i haven't been feeling fine for some time |

This same shit happened in 2015. Then what happend? Never put your trust in any politician. SpecialAdviser: Never in the history of the nation have we seen people doing things free for a politician.
From free house donations, Hausa guy opening free radio station and barber shop to all these. God is wonderful.
Is this some kind of magic? Is Arab spring about to replicate here? Are Nigerians working to Free themselves from divisions, deceit and stealing? Is this some sort of revolution?
Only time shall tell but personally I never believed a day that Obi can go this far. This is unbelievable. I pray we succeed. Together we are tired of this tribal divisions. We are tired of harsh economy. We are tired of manipulations. We are tired of the ruling class playing on our ignorance. We are just tired.
May God bring someone that can unite all of us and move the nation forward. Saraaaa |
