This is outrageous guys, after all the long wait still unsuccessful.

Please anybody can help me out. I have not gaining admission at any university in Brazil. can anybody with vital information to share with me the university that application begins now. I prefer English taught, master in either Electrical engineering or mechanical engineering.

Guys don't be deceived, she bought 17.44 litres of petrol for $100, meaning that petrol in USA at the moment was sold at the rate of $5.73 per litre, it is not $100 per litre.

Please anybody who has the information can share with me for ongoing application admission right now for msc in either mechanical or electrical engineering.

It should not take more than 2days.

I requested for mine around December 2025, they replied the same day and I got my passport next day. Was sent through dhl from Abuja to Lagos.

The price you shared is it fees one has to pay at Brazil consular to legalize documents.

here is the fees. 5$ for academic documents per pages and 20$ for other documents. For example.

O'level (neco or waec) - 5$
Bsc certificate - 5$
HND and ND certificate - 5$ each making 10$
Bsc Transcript - 5$ multiply by number of pages
HND and ND Transcript - 5$ multiply by number of pages
Police character certificate - 20$
Birth certificate - 20$
Marriage certificate - 20$
If you have affidavits of name change or correction 20$

Etc..

The same to me. Almost 6months without update. Application submitted on 14th August 2025.

What are procedure to secure admission for free tuition university and English taught in Brazil. I need help, I I want to go for my second master, I hold HND Mechanical and pgd mechanical as well. Any school on May 2026 admission intake.

How many times have you even come across my messages on this platform? Sometimes I ask questions not just for myself, but for my siblings, relatives, and friends. I am also trying to convince people that, with the right information on Nairaland, one can prepare and package a visa application independently without paying hard earned money to fake travel agents. Think deeply before you comment, never use the word of too desperate for a visa to me.

I Pay attention to his message, he took a screenshot of the message I posted on Nairaland in less than a minute. We started chatting, and I pretended that I was going to send the money. He then requested my email and application number. I became suspicious and refused. He later called me, but I hung up the call.

This is the third time scammers have sent me direct messages. A similar thing happened to me on the UK Nairaland platform, where a Tanzanian guy claimed he worked at the UK HomeOffice and demanded an exorbitant money to secure a work visa for me, even though I had never spoken to him before.

When I asked how he got my WhatsApp number, he said he picked it from my Nairaland profile.

Admin, please help me. I have tried several times to edit my profile, but I don’t have access to remove the number.

The guy behaviour is shameful. Asking colleagues to pay a fee simply to send a tracker link is completely unacceptable.

What concerns me even more is how he obtained my personal WhatsApp contact. I am surprised, because even I do not know how to search for my own number or anyone else’s on the Nairaland forum.

This raises serious questions about his conduct and respect for people’s privacy.

Based on the information you provided in your application, the visa officer is aware that you don’t want to complete another biometric, so no further action is required from your end.

In your case, if your visa is approved, it will be granted up to the expiration of your biometric.

I think I may have complicated the matter by choosing the option that I would not give biometrics because my existing biometrics are valid until September 2026. Unfortunately, my visa application was denied then around 2016 and biometrics valid for 10years

My biometrics are still valid until September 2026, but I have recently obtained a new passport with a 10-year validity and I attached a new passport to the document when I am submitting the neccessary document. I am not sure whether the visa office considers the passport validity period or the biometrics validity date when issuing a visa.

If they rely on the biometrics validity, I may only be granted a visa of about five or six months if my application is approved.

Can I raise a webform to draw their attention to the fact that I am now willing to give new biometrics, even though I initially selected the option not to? I hope this will not be seen as a red flag, or should I just remain calm and wait for now? Please, I need your advice.

Also, please, if you are offering advice, do not come into someone’s DM saying otherwise or requesting money without permission, and I have never drop my contact details here, unless get in touch with me through a registered email on the Nairaland forum.

Yesterday, Sunday 12th January, someone on this platform who is well known responded when I asked a simple question about how to track the progress of my application on the IRCC portal that I submitted my visa application on 20th December. Within seconds of posting my message, the person contacted me on WhatsApp, took screenshots of my messages, and claimed he could track my application for a fee.

I was surprised because I have never shared my WhatsApp number on this platform. Please let us all be mindful and cautious. There are many scammers here pretending to offer help while seeking personal information to scam people. I blocked the person immediately.

I'm new here and interested in relocating to Brazil through the study route. Could you please guide me through the process of securing an admission letter and identifying universities in Brazil that offer free tuition and scholarships?

English is the only language I currently speak; however, I am willing to learn Brazilian Portuguese after relocating, within my first year of admission. I intend to pursue an MSc degree at a university in Brazil.

I hold an HND in Mechanical Engineering and a PGD in Mechanical Engineering. I will be 45 years old in the next few months. Previously, I also obtained an MSc degree from a UK university. I don't If I need to declare that I had msc before during admissions processing.

Please how did know if any action is taking on your application, like you said eligibility is completed on tracker, did you receive message or you track it on IRCC Portal?
I also submitted application on 20th December, no biometrics yet, nothing have changed, is just as if visa officer has not taking a single action on my application.

Please someone should advise if possible to request for my passport for other things while tourist visa application is valid and can't stop them for making a decision and later request for my passport after consular make their decision. I hope is not a red flag and they can't used the opportunity to cancel my visa application.

Have you drop them an email as reminder or query as per update on your application.

I have sent an email time without number but they keep saying "application still on queue for processing". I am still having intentions to resend another email next week because is going to be 5 months next week that i submitted my documents and biometrics

I need urgent advice, i want to apply for visit visa and no tie to Nigeria I can show to IRCC. the last payslip i got and the job contract was dated, 6th of July 2025, then I was working full-time job in England. I returned to Nigeria the same month after my visa expired in UK. I have 5 months gap living in Nigeria without a job. Life is becoming miserable here in Nigeria. I want to apply for visit visa to Canada, what should I do to cover the space of tie or employment to prove to convince IRCC that I would return to my country after 10 days visit.

The normal average processing time is 3 months from the date an application is received at their embassy in Abuja.

Since yours has passed that timeframe, if I were you, I would send them an email to make an inquiry about my application.

Hello mate, why tourist visa processing in Nigeria is taking longer than expected? i submitted tourist visa 1st week of August 2025, biometric and documentation everything was done at VFS abuja. i am confused, and is astonish that no update up till this morning, 14th of November. this is autrageous. can anyone shed more light on what likely be the cause of all this delay, my original intended travel date has already passed due to the extended delay.
