Yes, I will back lash them like this. This is diversification era. They need more staffs if they are to make any meaningful impact in this era. It is crystal clear formal jobs can't take 70 percent of the populace out of unemployment. There is a gap. It takes aggressive and intentional measures from dbn to transform the economy. People wasted money to come for this assessment. Why can't they go on linked in and search candidates to fill the four slot rather than advertise on national dailies that there is massive recruitment in Dbn. It is deception. I wasted over 30k over this few days and you say I should not cry. Its not easy to get those 30k and realise the whole thing you spent on is a facade.
If more people had been selected, even if am not among them, I wouldn't be saying this. 4 out of more than 80. This is pure evil. I feel better now after have let out this things. One would think dbn was ready for business when they brought out the advert, not knowing they prefer things as it is.
Dbn that intends taking people out of poverty and unemployment cannot employ more than 4 persons. They are big jokers. I am still in doubt about them interviewing only 6 people anyways. I will wait to see a regret mail from HCP. If it's true, I will have to contact their partners. Seriously. This recruitment is shady in a way which is against the ethics of the global partners for dbn.

Bro i understand you and am in support of you. Basically, 4 people out of a whole lot is outrageous. I beleive a good number of people would have been enployed all in the name of this recruitment they did. But, something professional is needed to be done to cover up some shit. Herdsmen attack Agatu community of Benue state in the early hours of Wednesday 16 persons were murdered in their sleep by the suspected gang known to be Fulani herders.

This same scenario was said to have occur in Agatu Local Government Area of the state in 2016 and hundreds of people were killed.



It was gathered from a source that, the herdsmen attacked Ebete community under Usha ward of the Agatu Local Government Area of the state in the night.

John Ikulono, Supervisory Councillor of Finance and Administration in Agatu Local Government, told one of our correspondents on the telephone that the herdsmen stormed the community around 1am on Wednesday.

Ikulono said, “An indigene of Ebete community, simply identified as Daddy Seni, who lost his father and siblings in the attack reported the killings to the council.

He said, “Daddy Seni, whose father was also killed alongside his siblings, reported the incident. Daddy Seni left his father at Ebete to go to Aloko for fishing. It was while he was on the way that he received a call from his father that he had been shot by Fulani herdsmen. The father asked him to come back home.



“On reaching home, he saw his father lying in the pool of his own blood gasping for breath. He rushed to take him to the hospital but he said the father told him not to worry as he had lost so much blood.

“Daddy Seni said, his father said, ‘my son, don’t bother about me and your siblings again, ours have finished, we can’t survive these gunshots, run for your dear life to tell others about this.”

The new Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, Catherine Anene, informed one of our correspondents that the communal clash was reported to the command, adding that it was under investigation.

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in eight new permanent secretaries to fill the vacancies that existed in his administration.
The following states had been without Permsec, Nasarawa, Borno, Lagos and Osun, Imo, Adamawa, Edo and Delta.
The president however swear-in the nominated member for the position shortly before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.

They are representing eight states and were nominated for the position in November 2018 and have taken their oath of office.

Uyiekpen Giwa-Osagie, a lawyer for the Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar  was arrested on monday night for allegedly laundering $2m by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

He was said to have been implicated by a bureau de change operator who identified him as the owner of the money.

It was gathered that the commission’s operatives suspected the $2m might had been budgeted for vote-buying or to compromise electoral officials and also a gathered from a source that, "We believe the money was earmarked for either campaign financing, vote-buying or to compromise electoral officials but investigations would show what the money was meant for, the sources and why it was routed outside regular banking channels.”

Timi Frank, a former deputy spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, said the arrest was done on the interest of APC  and President Muhammadu Buhari.

While the acting spokesperson for EFCC had refused to say anything about the arrest of the lawyer after so much promise of weeding out the reason behind the arrest from the relevant department in the commission.

The fight started around 2p.m, not very far from Total filling station, at a junction called 2.2.

It was reported that the unidentified policeman, allegedly on illegal duty, hit the arm of one of the motorcycle riders with his baton, and supposedly dislocated the arm in the process.

Mr Daniel Ibe, the witness said, the cry of the injured motorcyclist attracted the attention of his colleagues, who parked near the scene of the incident, prompting a show of solidarity.

He said, “The policeman hit the motorcyclist with his stick because he refused to stop for the usual extortion, causing his bone to dislocate,”

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the clash between the duo causes traffic off the ever-busy Gado Nasko Road.

The commercial cyclists made a bonfire on the road, forcing road users to turn back on getting to the spot.

Policemen drafted to the troubled spot may have added to the anxiety in the air, as they shot several bullets in the air, even as the cyclists remained obstinate.

Divisional Police Officer of Kubwa Police Station came to the spot personally to appeal to the aggrieved motorcyclists.

The DPO invited them to his office for settlement, thereby dousing the tension and threat of violence.

The Independent National Electoral Commission issue a statement on Thursday that not everybody will be able to collect their PVC before election, as a result of failed verification of their names and other details when the voter register was displayed for complaints and objections.

Mike Igini, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in Akwa Ibom, said this on channels sunrise daily news.
He said unfortunately, the time for objections and complaints had closed and therefore people with one issues or the other may not be able to vote until after the elections in March.

The Peoples Democratic Party, on Wednesday, lamented over the closure of stadiums in Kano State, in a bid to stop it holding campaign rallies in the state.

The closure of the stadiums was ordered by Governor Umar Ganduje in order for some renovations works to be done in the stadiums.

PDP’s presidential rally had been scheduled to hold in the state on February 10, while, the renovation is expected to end on February 18, two days after the presidential elections.
