100% lies on the feet of a husband who steps out of his marriage.

I hope the people apportioning % blames would post on tpia's counter tread.

When a married woman cheats with a single guy, what is the blame ratio?

Family / Re: Ladies, What Do You Understand By The Term "Submission"? by adebisicutie: 8:22pm On Jul 03, 2015

I believe you should be able to understand that, that post is referring to a woman who knew she was marrying an addict.

What I am saying is, anyone who is deemed fit for decisions making should make the decision, why should a man who's not in his right senses lead? How can he lead anyone?

Ok I get you . That's Precisely my point , I won't give my money to an addict , a drunk or a financially irresponsible man and yes it's very possible he developed those traits after marriage . I won't let someone ruin my life and that of my kids .

Also that someone is more intelligent doesn't mean he is more intelligent in all areas, in fact you will hardly find a couple where one partner is more intelligent in all areas . So even if a woman marries a woman who's more intelligent that her overall she may be more intelligent than him in some aspects . However some men are too egotistical to admit that they are not as intelligent in a certain aspect , so they would rather make a bad decision than let their wife who is better in that area handle it and that's difficult for w woman to watch handle since she will also suffer from the consequences of his bad decision.

I think most women would have no problem with submission as long as the man loves her like Christ loves the Church. I believe that's why those 2 were put together. Why would I have problem submitting to someone I know will always put my needs above his like Christ did with us. The problem with submission in today's marriage is that it's very one sided , you can't be having affairs, getting back from work at the same time as your wife and still never helping out around the house and many other things that don't depict love and be suprised she's finding it hard to submit to you undecided

Also some would argue that submission comes first so the woman should submit regardless and the man would change however we have seen that that rarely ever happens. Most of our mothers and grandmothers were submission yet it didn't change the men from adulterers who were often inconsiderate. Many of the drunks and financially irresponsible men ruined their families financially despite the wife's submission so the younger generation has learnt to apply common sense grin

No, let me vex, it cut deep. angry

He said if his sister decides to marry a crack addict, then that's her cross, forgetting that, only a stup1d person would marry an addict.

Yet he says intelligence isn't a factor, talk about having it twisted.grin

What is the man later becomes a crack addict or drunk after marriage as it happens many times because I can see some people saying if she married one she should deal with it however that isn't always so, some people pick up bad habits after marriage .

Should she then submit to a man who's essentially not in his right senses

[quote author=adora4u1 post=35255706]Let us put sentiments aside.

Saraki has dual citizenship.......UK by birth, Nigeria by parents. The question is....does the constitution allow a person with dual citizenship to hold the office of the President of the Senate? If it does, does the place of birth come into play? Former Senate President David Mark has both Nigerian and Belizean citizenships but in his case he was born in Nigeria.

Place of birth comes into play because in the USA, you can't be president if you were born out side the United States except in a US base outside the USA. That was the reason Donald Trump was insisting that Obama show the American people his birth certificate!

Something tells me Saraki knows that the constitution allows him to be the Senate President even with dual citizenship irrespective of where you were born. I might not like his Judas Iscariot image but I'm sure he is not stupid!

The Constitution does not allow one to hold a political office with dual citizenship however I expect he is smart enough to have officially renounced his British critizenship as you are allowed to do that. If not he is in yawa

In Nigeria a political office holder is not allowed to have dual citizenship, it's either he denounced the British one officially or he'll be in trouble with the Nigerian law

A political office holder is not allowed to have dual citizenship in Nigeria. He must have renounced the British one already or else he can be impeached

Did the Op say it was from yesterdays brawl in the green chamber? Tinubus wife has never hidden her cantankerous and belligerent nature. We all saw how she snubbed a handshake from the SP on her inauguration on national TV! So what exactly are you saying gaan?

Btw, who told you any stories about her will make headlines? She is just a mere domestic appendage who was conscripted into the senate! What contributions has she made so far in the chambers except a foolish display of emotions? She should be tutored by Abike Dabiri on how to be in the NASS.

When she snubbed Saraki it was all over the news, such a thing cannot happen and it won't be all over the news. Stop bearing false witness against people , it's a sin . And she can sue OP for character assassination , OP has no link because it's a big fat lie

By law it's not the same and I think that's the answer. If someone insults you and you hit him/her you will go to jail, people don't go to jail for insults.

If you have a verbally abusive spouse who has refused to change separate yourself before the person makes you commit a crime

Chasing her out will only expose her to more dangers. Let your daughter and the child stay with you then you can monitor her better and help her make something of herself . If the family can't afford the new baby, give him or her out for adoption to a loving family and help your daughter retrace her steps in life

playboy19:

First off, i must say that i want nothing of politics and I do not support any political party but comparing Tinubu with Saraki shows that you know nothing about what you speak of, the Nigerian politics.

The right person you should have compared Tinubu with is Atiku. This game has never been about Saraki and Tinubu, instead, it has always been between Tinubu and Atiku. Remember when Atiku told the whole world that nobody invited him to Buhari's political campaign? Anyone with a little clue about politics in Nigeria knows he was simply saying; what's in it for me (Since every other person's already know what their benefit is, i.e Amechi, Tinubu and co)?

Now the presidential elections has been won. APC now the ruling party. Buhari is the president, Tinubu owns the VP, Atiku was simply fighting to take the over the Nass, of which he has succeeded (wonder why the first person Saraki paid visit to was Atiku? Now you know why). However, Tinubu's opposition to this is for more than one reason,

i. Atiku didn't contribute nothing to Buhari's campaign. As a matter of fact, he cunningly campaigned against it.
ii. Atiku and Tinubu has always been in rivalry since the days of Nadeco
iii. Tinubu is wary of Atiku's ambition to take over the presidency, either directly or by proxy. (If he can't win come 2019 or 2023, he pushes the senate president forward to hijack the seat)

These are what APC as a party understands and it is why they are doing everything in their power to 'install' their stack loyalist into these delicate positions in order to proactively nip Atiku's grand plan before it's too late. So you see, Saraki is just another stooge to someone else and not to be compared with Tinubu in anyway. He doesn't have the charisma.

Thank you, Atiku is the one backing Saraki because of the loss at the APC primaries is still paining him. without Tinubu Buhari would never have beat Atiku at the primaries, not with all the money Atiku was throwing around hence why Atiku sees Tinubu as the one who destroyed his dreams. Saraki on his own is nothing
