Jega specified that Once a polling unit has more than 500 voters that unit will be given 2 card readers so that accreditation can be completed within the allocated time. It actually takes just a few seconds for each card to be read, the PVC is put under the device and it will say verified and show the information on the chip if it's a genuine card from INEC and if it is not it will say not verified. They already tested how long it takes for each card to be read and that is why he made provision for any polling unit with more than 500 voters to have 2.

That is all the card reader is used for, once verified the person then gets a ballot paper

Thank you, the average uneducated northerner is a lot more politically aware than the so called intellectuals in the south.
