Change your phone number.
Screen calls.
Save and document all contacts, messages, injuries or other incidents involving the batterer.
Change locks, if the batterer has a key.
Please Avoid staying alone.
Plan a way escape if confronted by an abusive partner.
If you have to meet your partner, do it in a public place.
Make sure your routine is varied.
Notify school and work contacts.
Call a shelter for battered women.
If you leave the relationship or are thinking of leaving, you should take important papers and documents with you to enable you to apply for benefits or take legal action.

Important papers you should take include:

Your ID card, Travelling passport and birth certificates for you and your children,
your marriage certificates,
leases or deeds in your name or both of your names,
your checkbook,
bank statements and charge account statements,
insurance policies,
proof of income for you and your spouse and
any documentation of past incidents of abuse (photos, police reports, medical records, etc.).

Rape cases has been a recurrence in Nigeria in the past few weeks in Nigeria. Especially, the case of Uniben student, a 22 year-old Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, who was allegedly raped to death in a redeemed church parish in Benin has raised serious concern on the case of raping in Nigeria.

While many Nigerian were still disturbed by the Uniben student's case, an 18 years old girlidentified as Bello Barakat was reportedly gang raped in Ibadan. Many people, groups and government have since condemned the development. Several Protests has also been staged since then.


As a matter of fact, rape is not peculiar to one country, it is a global scourge that must be condemned at all time. Rape is an instance when a person intentionally PENETRATES another's vagina, anus or mouth with a penis, without the other person's consent. Similar to that is what is called sexual assault. Hence there is what is called assault by penetration and that is when a person penetrates another person's vagina or anus with any part of the body other than a penis, or by using an object, without the person's consent.

What separates sex or a gesture of affection, from sexual assault is a matter of consent. That is, the parties involved agreeing to what's happening by choice and legally, the party must have the freedom and ability to make that choice. therefore, to avoid being accused of rape, you must have the consent of the other party (s)

1. Then to avoid being raped, you must dress decently by always wearing clothes that cover every sensitive part of your body because a sensitive part of your body seen today can trigger rape tomorrow. This applies to both male and female. Exposing sensitive part of your body, it should be noted, can make opposite sex have sexual arousal, so avoid it.

2. Whether male or female, try to avoid touching sensitive part of your body unnecessarily. The danger of this is that it make you to begin to have sexual arousal and when this happened, the next available person may be the instrument you will use to satisfy such arousal, and when you don’t have the consent of the person, it becomes rape.

Rape has become a menace to our society and this pitfall has caused a lot of life's to be ruined. An indian Nurse who was raped in a hospital spent 42 years in a coma or vegetative state.

Aruna Ramchandra Shanbaug born 1 June 1948 and died 18 May 2015), was an Indian nurse. Shanbaug was a nurse in the King Edwards Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.

In November 1973, she was assaulted by ward boy, Sohanlal Bhartha Valmiki, of the same hospital while changing her clothes in the hospital basement. Valmiki strangulated Shanbaug with a dog chain around her neck and was said to have raped her in a sodomized manner. This cut off oxygen to her brain, resulting in a brain stem contusion, cervical cord injury, and cortical blindness. She was discovered in the next morning by a cleaner.

She was at that time working as a junior nurse at King Edward Memorial Hospital , Parel , Mumbai, Shanbaug when she was sexually assaulted.

Shanbaug died of pneumonia on 18 May 2015, after being in a persistent vegetative state for nearly 42 years

Sohanlal was caught and convicted for assault and robbery, and he served two concurrent seven-year sentences, being released in 1980. He was not convicted of rape, sexual molestation, or unnatural sexual offense, the last of which could have been punished with life imprisonment.

From the day of the assault till the day she died on May 18, 2015, Aruna could only survive on mashed food. She could not move her hands or legs, could not talk or perform the basic functions of a human being.

Sohanlal was charged with attempted murder and for robbing Aruna's earrings, but not for rape. The police did not take into account that she was sodomized. A trial court sentenced Sohanlal seven years imprisonment. This was reduced to six years because he had already served a year in lock up. He walked out of jail in 1980 and still claims he did not rape Shanbaug.

On May 18, 2015, Shanbaug then 66, died of severe pneumonia. She was on ventilator support in KEM's acute care unit.

After her death the KEM hospital heard a memorial in her name and various coworkers honoured her.

Yet still the doctor and his team did their best to save the impulsive man from bigger future trouble.

After the operation, Yeung's wife was very worried about whether it will affect their ordinary lkife. Yet Doctor told her that her husband may feel depressed for getting his pen1s back and would face more problems in days to come.

But society does not appear to appreciate this. In the north, it has been suggested that the rapist be castrated. In the south, death by hanging has been suggested.

At present, the rapist faces a long prison term. But will these penalties stop the rape culture from growing when the urge to rape is triggered and remains unchecked? Has public execution of armed robbers stopped armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping and even insurgency? We do not even appreciate that our thoughts and the words we speak could trigger rape thousands of kilometers away from us.

Looking in this direction, will it be out of place to say that women themselves are the foundation of rape? For people who know about the male and female genders or activities in our great universe recognise that it is not only on earth that the female specie exists.

Christians and Moslems believe in The Book of Revelations. In the book, we learn of the Queen of Heaven, also called Elizabeth or Mother by some people. We learn that she was with a child and that the Dragon sought to attack them. The reason?

The explanation for this is simple.The Child is an allegorical expression of a Mission at its infancy beside which, as mother, Elizabeth stands… to tend and to nurture in this of period of preparation.

We now know, through revealed knowledge, that this mission was to proclaim the final judgement over the earth. Of course, this would lead to the binding of Lucifer, the Dragon, for the 1,000 years of peace on earth.

It took me quite a while, in the course of trying to understand earth life and existence, to come to terms with the knowledge that the female specie of Creation stands at least half a step above the male specie in any sphere of existence and that, even on earth, women are psychically stronger than men, and are meant to be “decision makers”, while men are meant to be implementers of their decisions.

And this is why, in choosing a wife, a man must ensure that he goes with a woman whose decisions and direction in life agree with his. To do otherwise is to sow the seed of commotion and upheavals in the marriage. I do not wish to digress.

I was saying “women” are to be found before “men”in any sphere of existence between the earth and the ultimate home of mankind, paradise, and that they are decision makers. The duty of women is caring and tending.

For people who are familiar with this conception of creation, the female specie, in its caring and tending duty, facilitated the departure (expulsion) of the subconscious human spirit from paradise; and its coming into being on earth as a self conscious being.

The earthly woman mans the last duty post in this marvelous process. In their wombs, Earth women grew the earthly bodies of all of us, man or woman, and so suffused us with their radiations in caring and tending that we become naturally bound to them as though through an etheric cord.

Besides, they breast-fed us, protected and nurtured us through the childhood years. As male adults, we found ourselves in the care of women who are not our mothers.

Male adults find the bodies of women charming and magnetic. Such men probably do not know why. And, being still debased, seek to touch women with unclean hands.

Among those males who had gathered themselves somewhat for spiritual upliftment, there are two ways to see the beauty and charm of the female human body.

First, its refinement shows that the inner being which gave rise to it is of a finer consistency than the male species and, thereby, connects far more readily and easily with higher and finer powers than the opposite gender. This makes her a leader of the twain.

Secondly, her being endowed with charm is to enable every soul gravitate towards her for an onerous duty of leading humanity back home in completion of the cycle begun in paradise.

The end stage of this three-step equation may be aborted at any stage of the cycle. For example, if you find yourself developing FEELING, you may change your THOUGHT and open yourself to “ broadcasts” or “reception of more noble ideas or influences from the universe.

If you fail to block the process at that point, FEELING will develop into IMAGINATION. If it does, prevent OPPORTUNITY.

Even from the OPPORTUNITY you can still triumph. The story of the Biblical Joseph in particular teaches us this when he refused the entreaties of his boss’s wife to sleep with her.

His case was one of those in court. Many public commentators on Nigeria’s growing rape culture have not, in my view, been fair to the men who defile children or rape women, even in marriage.

Like these commentators, I, too, have no hiding place for the rapist. He is a demented, low spirit in communion with the lower phase of existence, and he needs help.

But society does not appear to appreciate this. In the north, it has been suggested that the rapist be castrated. In the south, death by hanging has been suggested.

At present, the rapist faces a long prison term. But will these penalties stop the rape culture from growing when the urge to rape is triggered and remains unchecked? Has public execution of armed robbers stopped armed robbery, banditry, kidnapping and even insurgency? We do not even appreciate that our thoughts and the words we speak could trigger rape thousands of kilometers away from us.

Looking in this direction, will it be out of place to say that women themselves are the foundation of rape? For people who know about the male and female genders or activities in our great universe recognise that it is not only on earth that the female specie exists.

Christians and Moslems believe in The Book of Revelations. In the book, we learn of the Queen of Heaven, also called Elizabeth or Mother by some people. We learn that she was with a child and that the Dragon sought to attack them. The reason?

The explanation for this is simple.The Child is an allegorical expression of a Mission at its infancy beside which, as mother, Elizabeth stands… to tend and to nurture in this of period of preparation.

We now know, through revealed knowledge, that this mission was to proclaim the final judgement over the earth. Of course, this would lead to the binding of Lucifer, the Dragon, for the 1,000 years of peace on earth.

The Queen of Heaven or Elizabeth was beside the child and mission. Her role was to care for, and tend this Mission.

It took me quite a while, in the course of trying to understand earth life and existence, to come to terms with the knowledge that the female specie of Creation stands at least half a step above the male specie in any sphere of existence and that, even on earth, women are psychically stronger than men, and are meant to be “decision makers”, while men are meant to be implementers of their decisions.

And this is why, in choosing a wife, a man must ensure that he goes with a woman whose decisions and direction in life agree with his. To do otherwise is to sow the seed of commotion and upheavals in the marriage. I do not wish to digress.

I was saying “women” are to be found before “men”in any sphere of existence between the earth and the ultimate home of mankind, paradise, and that they are decision makers. The duty of women is caring and tending.

For people who are familiar with this conception of creation, the female specie, in its caring and tending duty, facilitated the departure (expulsion) of the subconscious human spirit from paradise; and its coming into being on earth as a self conscious being.

The earthly woman mans the last duty post in this marvelous process. In their wombs, Earth women grew the earthly bodies of all of us, man or woman, and so suffused us with their radiations in caring and tending that we become naturally bound to them as though through an etheric cord.

Besides, they breast-fed us, protected and nurtured us through the childhood years. As male adults, we found ourselves in the care of women who are not our mothers.

Male adults find the bodies of women charming and magnetic. Such men probably do not know why. And, being still debased, seek to touch women with unclean hands.

Among those males who had gathered themselves somewhat for spiritual upliftment, there are two ways to see the beauty and charm of the female human body.

First, its refinement shows that the inner being which gave rise to it is of a finer consistency than the male species and, thereby, connects far more readily and easily with higher and finer powers than the opposite gender. This makes her a leader of the twain.

Secondly, her being endowed with charm is to enable every soul gravitate towards her for an onerous duty of leading humanity back home in completion of the cycle begun in paradise.

Many earth-men and earth-women will not appreciate this. Many men rate their value on the number of women they have devoured, while many women employ their gift in coquetry.

Some women are even prepared to walk naked in the streets if society permits them. In Lagos and many capitals of the earth, nudist clubs abound where women overcharge the male sexual battery regularly. The music of today’s generation fares no better.

I have seen mothers and their children at kids birthday parties dance hilariously to music which denigrate the sexual organs of women and even price their cash value to zero naira.

One singer asked: “ what is the price of your …. Bleep(secret place)? Local films also contribute to the sexual bashing of a man’s brain. To worsen matters, the social media came upon the land with a devastating sub-gutter culture.

Thus, the average man you see in the street is a bundle of overcharged sexual energy who is ready to explode at the rarest opportunity. On the way to work, in the office and on the way back home, he is loaded with scenes, thoughts,signs or gestures of sex.

If he is married, he returns home from work to impact his wife who may not be ready for him. He cannot understand that the human body, like the soul which helped to form it, is inviolable.

Did he not pay her dowry? Is she, therefore, not his property? After all, she vowed at the marriage registry…. with my body I thee worship”.

Often, some husbands take their wives by force, with these thoughts and questions ringing in their heads. I have helped to resolve some marital disputes in which the couples were schooled to learn that it is possible for a husband to rape his wife.

Besides, though legally married, they might be committing adultery if they conjugate without inward harmony and justification for it. Probably rejected at home for one reason or another, some men end up in brothels.

Some are afraid of contracting diseases or do not wish to devalue themselves to brothel- prostitute life. So, they find girl friends who, for whatever reason, take them on.

Where there may be no money to keep such relationships going is when, I believe, such men resort to “small” girls.

Small amounts of cash bowl these girls over, and the day there’s no cash, they may be raped if they refuse to consent. But there are some men who do not set out to rape a woman they are in bed with.

Many men stupidly believe many Nigerian women are pretenders who say “No” when, actually, they are all flaming and roaring to go.

Such men believe these women want them to give such little push as would make it appear they yielded only to force.

In such cases of misreading of the mind, the woman cries wolf afterwards, even decades after. In all of this, it should be evident that earth woman has trifled with or abandoned her calling to “bring humanity back home”.

She is leading the way downhill, and weak man is following. He finds it convenient to not remember that he can pull back and refuse to journey with her.

And when the chips are down, he is the one society castigates, hounds and sends to jail as a sexually insane person or an animal in human body.

Society expects him to not put his fingers in fire if a woman asked him to do so. That is right. It shows he neglected to employ his FREE WILL to free himself from her.

Where something happens between him and the woman who tormented him with near bare breasts and buttock mounds freely viewed, it is entirely his fault.

For he has, reserved in him, the power to pull away from the brink and, in his hands, he has the simple sex equation he can always dismantle if he does not wish to run wild.


Simple sex equation

The body of man is animal-derived. Man, or the human spirit, is the inhabitant of that body, which is also his housing and work tool on earth.

In the animal body resides the Sex Instinct, basically for specie propagation. When a man is aroused, his thought reacts upon the instinctto produce feeling.

If the thought lingers, its reaction upon feeling produces imagination. We should not forget that the human being is like a broadcast station and a television or radio receiving set.

Everything which exists, including us, broadcast its existence to the universe.

And when we think about anything, it is as though we have tuned ourselves to all the “power centres” and even “ principalities “ which broadcast into the universe the content we are thinking about.

Thus, imagination and thought connect us to ideas in the universe we need to actualise or experience imagination.

Actualisation is facilitated by opportunity. Opportunity is when two persons of opposite gender are alone.

So, when an opportunity exists in which a man and a woman find themselves alone, anything in the sexual field or spectrum, including consented sex, rape and defilment, may occur .

The term a SIMPLE SEX EQUATION is my attempt to describe knowledge in this area given to mankind in the 1920s by a spiritual teacher who explained occurance on the earth and higher spheres of existence right up to those in paradise.

That means he teaches everything in the world and about the world itself. In this context, the earth is not the world but something like a pin- point size in the scheme.

This equation may be presented as follows:

THOUGHT + INSTINCT =FEELING
THOUGHT +FEELING= IMAGINATION
IMAGINATION + OPPORTUNITY= SEXUAL ACTION.
The end stage of this three-step equation may be aborted at any stage of the cycle. For example, if you find yourself developing FEELING, you may change your THOUGHT and open yourself to “ broadcasts” or “reception of more noble ideas or influences from the universe.

If you fail to block the process at that point, FEELING will develop into IMAGINATION. If it does, prevent OPPORTUNITY.

Even from the OPPORTUNITY you can still triumph. The story of the Biblical Joseph in particular teaches us this when he refused the entreaties of his boss’s wife to sleep with her.


Some anti-libido herbs

Where it is observed that the libido is too high and easily runs riot, herbs may be used to curb the excesses. The first step in this venture is to avoid libido-promoting herbs.

#SAY NO TO RAPE

A middle-aged Nigerian girl, simply identified Nicole, has been arrested by the police in Malaysia after being held hostage and gang-raped by about 5 Chinese men.

According to reports, the suspects bribed their ways out while Nicole was arrested for being out of status and she is set to be arraign in court for not having a valid visa.

Recounting what happened, the lady said she met with a Chinese guy in a place called Changkat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and he asked her out. He later took her to an hotel owned by his father.

Unknown to her, the boy had colluded with some of his friends to take turns with her. She claimed she was beaten and forcefully ganged raped. They later took her to another location where a new set of friends raped her again without protection.

They also recorded the incident without their own faces showing and threatened Nicole that they would leak it should she expose them. Nicole was later rescued after she started shouting and the rapists were arrested by the police.

However, after five days, they regained their freedom due to pressure mounted by the rich dad of the primary suspect. Instead, Nicole is now being held in police custody for not having legal documents.

She will be arraigned in Jalan Duta Court today, 18th June, 2020, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she will likely be remanded in prison, then deported after spending time behind bars.

According to the Nigerian community in Malaysia, the move is to cover up the injustice done to her. They have now started calling for justice for Nicole. The attention of the Nigerian High Commission has also being drawn to the issue.

A rape victim has narrated how her uncle who is a member of Boko Haram terrorist group, defiled her severally, till he was killed by a member of the sect.

The teenager recounts how the incident turned her life around, negatively.

The lady said the incident occurred after Boko Haram members attacked her village, killed all the men and took the women into exile. She further revealed that her uncle was killed following a disagreement among the group, an incident that led to her being married off to another member of the sect.

“The incident happened on a Tuesday as Boko Haram entered our town, killed all the men, burnt all our houses, and took those of us that are women along.

“My uncle, who is also a Boko Haram member, then told me to stand up and follow him, that I had become his property. He started raping me since that day.

He was, however, killed after some time following a disagreement between him and other Boko Haram members. I was married off to another member of the sect.”

The girl who is undergoing her secondary education and has a dream of becoming a soldier recounted the stigma she faced alongside other girls when they arrived at the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in Bama.

She added;

“Anywhere we go to, people do stigmatize us as wives of Boko Haram members as if it’s our fault. Personally, l can’t forgive Boko Haram for life because of what they did to me.

“My dream in life is to complete my education and become a soldier, then fly a plane and bomb every Boko Haram member. I’ll like to see them (Boko Haram) end in Nigeria.”

80 years old man known as Mohammed Bara'u was arrested for raping 10 years old girl with a chocolate.

From the reports it was gathered that the suspect is a wood seller who has been trying to lure the little girl with a chocolate and finally succeeded on last sunday, by asking her to pick something for him inside his room.

He was arrested after the case was reported to the police by bade local Govt Shari Committee and the local NGO.

Some medical test has been conducted on the little girl, who lost her parents few years and the old man confessed for rapping her once.

Give strong Support to men and women working to end violence against women.

Always get the approval of the opposite SEX before engaging in sex. Don’t use drugs or alcohol to get someone to have sex with you.

Associate with programs that work and fight to end violence against women.

Believe women when they share their experience of rape and domestic violence.

Safety Tips
Make sure to have good LOCKS installed on all doors and be sure to use them. And be sure all windows are locked and well secured.
Be sure you do not open your door to people you don't know. If a sales or repair person is LEGITIMATE, they will not mind your asking to see identification and confirming their identity with the company they represent.
Neighbors, colleagues, friends and even your employees will not mind identifying themselves when they knock on your door.
If a STRANGER comes to your door requesting assistance (e.g. to make a phone call, car trouble, or any other distress) offer to call the necessary people for him/her. Do not make yourself an easy PREY by opening your door to a stranger, especially if you live by yourself or are at home alone.
For SINGLE MOTHERS, LADIES who live by themselves in a house or apartment, never make this obvious by listing your full name in the phone book or on a mailbox. Use instead your first two initials, or even add another name.
Be VERY CAREFUL about revealing any personal information over the telephone and/or Internet.
Make sure your curtains or blinds are drawn at night so people on the outside cannot determine who is in the residence.
Do not hide a spare key in open places such as under the mat, in a potted plant, under the buckets or somewhere in the kitchen(especially if the kitchen is outside your room), etc. Keep your door keys with you always and probably keep the spare at your parent's, or someone you are at least sure of. Always lock your doors after you enter your residence/house/apartment and also when you leave.
Be a WATCHDOG for yourself and to others. when you see strange faces in your compound, make sure to ask questions and if such does not give convincing response, please blow the situation. you might be saving yourself and others.

Some robbery gangs did not only dispossess their victims of cash, telephones , laptops and other valuables, they also raped women; whether married or single.

Some of these female victims were raped right in front of their husbands who were forced to lie flat on the ground, with guns pointed on their heads and a threat to blow them off should they attempt to put up any resistance . At the end of the operation cum rape, the affected couples are left to brood over the bloodcurdling picture , all the days of their lives

The good news is that Operatives of the Inspector- General of Police Intelligence Response Team, IRT have smashed the syndicate, following the arrest of four of its suspected members. Incidentally, the suspects, Tochukwu Otu, 22; Ikechukwu Udechukwu, 31; Ebuka Aniegu 25 and Monday Osueke, 32, are indigenes of Enugu State. Crime Guard gathered that the suspects had stormed some houses in Lugbe last week, where they raped some married women, among who was a nursing mother.

The nursing mother (names withheld) had forced one of her breasts into her baby’s mouth that fateful night , to prevent him from crying, in a bid to avoid attracting the robbers attention to her apartment. Unknown to her, the uninvited thieves had gained entrance into her apartment, having cut off the burglary wedge of one of her windows with an iron bar. Arrested They however, met their waterloo, following the arrest of one of them, Osueke , who was tracked via a telephone that was abandoned during the operation. In their confessional statement, the suspects said that the fleeing leader of the gang, whose identity they gave simply as Osas , was responsible for the rape indulgences.

According to 22 –year-old Otu, “ We usually operated at midnight when all occupants were asleep. In this case at Lugbe, we operated in three houses. The first apartment we entered, the man we met said he had no money . We only collected phones and laptops. “ In the second house, we saw a fat woman breastfeeding her baby. Like the first apartment, she and her husband said there was no money and we collected their phones. At that point, our boss, Osas, told us to go outside . By the time we came back, he was till handling with the nursing mother’s breast , while one of us was fingering her. The woman was just begging them to leave her alone. ” From there , we went to a third house where a fair complexioned woman was raped by Osas. He took her from where she was on the bed with her husband, to the sitting room and asked us to remain In the bedroom with the man.

By the time he finished, he called us inside. “I joined the gang six months ago because of lack of job. I am an apprentice in a barbing saloon. But my boss traveled and locked the shop. At the end of each operation, Osas, would sell the stolen phones and laptops and share the money among us. I usually got between N20,000 and N50,000 at the end of each operation”. My role is to finger women On his part, Udechukwu, 31, a truck driver, said his role in the said operation that led to their arrest was to finger the nursing mother. He said, “ I am not the person that raped the women. What I did was to finger one of them. I was ordered by leader of the gang, Osas, to finger her, while he fondled with her breasts. He always raped women and if he wanted to do it, he would order us to leave the place .

I have gone on operation with him twice. On both occasions, he raped the female victims even before their husbands. “ I left Lagos for Abuja in September 2020 , after I stopped work at Dangote Refinery . But a financial challenge came my family’s way , after my younger brother was involved in an accident. He had a nail pierced into one of his eyes and needed to undergo surgery that would cost N200,000. “On arrival in Abuja, I shared my problem with Osas , whom I met through my friend, Tochukwu. He promised to assist me raise some money.

On a particular day, he invited me, Tochukwu and another person out. We went for an operation and at the end, he gave me N100,000 from the money realized from the sale of stolen phones and laptops. We usually scaled the fence and broke the burglary with an iron bar “ As for Ebuka, he said that he only followed them to the scene of crime but did not rape nor violate any of their female victims sexually. He said, “ I knew they were going to rob. I only followed them to watch how they operated. When we got there, they gave me some laptops they collected from victims’ apartment . All I did was to put them inside the bag we went there with . I was into business before I came to Abuja, from Kaduna state”, said the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination holder.

But unlike Ebuka, 32-year-old Osueke , said he left the gang close to three months ago, to live a clean life. Unfortunately for him, one of the suspects telephone which mistakenly dropped from his pocket, gave him out. Said he : “ I used to follow them to previous operations. But I had to leave the gang because I did not like the job. When I left, I went into drilling of borehole. ” I did not follow them to the operation that led to their arrest. When they returned, Ikechukwu told me to go and help him buy sim card because he misplaced his phone on the operation ground. Two days after I bought him the sim card, policemen tracked me through the sim card”. The IRT operatives as gathered are still on the trail of fleeing members of the gang, while those arrested would soon be charged to court

A Female Corp member raped by a school proprietor on her first day at work
A school proprietor in Delta State has been apprehended for having forcefully slept with female National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in his house without her consent and knowledge.

The Delta State Police Command, while disclosed this to journalists on Tuesday in Asaba, stated it has arrested the school proprietor, one Mr Michael Anigholor after the female youth corps member reported the case.

The suspect was identified as the owner of Grace Life International School, Oghara-Efe, in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State where the female corps member was posted for her primary place of assignment.

The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, while revealing to journalists at the State Command Headquarters stated the suspect took advantage of the youth corps member when she reported at the school for her primary assignment.

He stated;

“On 14/01/2020 at about 1100hrs, the complainant, a Youth Corper posted to Grace Life International School, Oghata-Efe alleged that on 9th January 2020, she went to report at the school for her primary assignment.

“After her documentation, the suspect Michael Anigholor, who is the proprietor, took her to his house in Sapele and had carnal knowledge of her without her consent.”

Mr Inuwa, who applauded members of the public and the press for aiding the police in doing their work, revealed that the suspect had been caught and charged to court with charge sheet No. MS/MUSC/02c/2020.
