I have never used upwork before but I use freelancer, however i have never heard of or paid a deposit to be awarded a project. Paying a deposit to do a project when u are the freelancer is a huge red flag in my opinion. In the case of freelancer, the company takes its 10% commission the moment you accept the project. Secondly, paypal, Skrill and neteller are all payment gateways/platforms that allows you to send and receive money which also answers your 3rd question. To know more about these payment platforms, kindly google them and do a little research .

guys please, i am new to upwork, thanks to the op and people on this thread. thing is i submitted a proposal on a job and i got a feedback which state that i should deposit a refundable security so that he would be sure i will do the job. my questions are:
1. is it right to deposit money to his account when he is the client?
2. he mentioned accounts like paypal, neteller and skrill and i dont even have those accounts neither do i even know what they mean
3. after doing jobs, how do i get paid? i mean can the client pay directly into my first bank (nigeria) account

Another thing is i will like to know bid range for jobs. thank you in advance.

Sorry for the interruption, I don't usually have time online, would have expounded more than this, but I can suggest that if you want to go into programming, you should start with the easier ones- compiled programming languages such as php or python, you can top it up with java or mobile development... Money is hanging in that field if you know your way, but I also suggest strongly that you look into responsive designs and graphic development, if you know your way the sky is your limit.

yea, it's a very valid idea. i also intend to learn a scripting language like PHP or JAVASCRIPT once i have attained a proficient level on java.
i am not in any python group, only java. except if you don't mind joining.

Python is a great language, and most people have attested that it's easy to learn. unfortunately am working with java currently, but nevertheless there are good ebooks and videos online that can put you through. you should search for a whatsapp group for python here on nairaland and join, there you will meet like minds and they will reccomend you to good ebooks, videos, and how to set up a programming environment for python on your laptop, google will also be helpful. good luck on your endeavour!.

Yes you can apply. It's weekend job although I think you'll be required to put in a full week of training. But you can apply first and see whetheryou can wriggle your way round it.

What other tools do you need to learn most of what he suggested above. you probably have an android phone and can surf, these are the basic things you will need.
take me for instance, i finished school last year sept(geology, awaiting service). realising d nature of securing a job in Nigeria i thought of an additional skill 2 acquire to be gainfully self employed should i find my self in ur situation.
barbing, tailoring nd programming were d 3 top skills i considered, finally settled wit programming. i searched Nland Programming section nd found a thread by javanian which guided me on what language 2 learn. i had no laptop 2 write nd run my code, so i downloaded AIDE on android 2 write nd test run basic Java codes. there are lots of good free ebooks nd tutorial videos on youtube that can put u throug any prog-Lang. if u dont ave data u can do cheap night sub 2 download the videos nd ebooks.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:


I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.


Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

When he fell this is how many Angels he took down with him.


Revelation 12:4 With his tail he dragged a third of the stars out of the sky and threw them down to the earth. He stood in front of the woman, in order to eat her child as soon as it was born.

I don't know what "A third" of the Stars (Angels) amounted to, but i know that that's a huge number of Angels he took down with him


Now, when they Fell, did Satan's agenda of being God died? No.

Now, remember, satan is not Omnipresence, meaning he can't be everywhere at the same time, what do you think he did?

He apportioned his demons to act as gods in all the religions of world. He possessed some humans and made them become very cruel to others.

People like, Muhammed of Arabia, Adolf Hitler, Mau SeTung, etc.

Yes, rulership, kingship, dominance is why satan fell from grace, but here man is, a naive creature with a kingdom, so satan deceived him by distracting him, when man fell, he took over the kingdom God created for man and has been ruling man ever since.

Remeber, even God can not operate and function in this material world without a material body, hence he possesses people by the (Holy Spirit). Satan also being a spirit or his demons can not function in this world without a physical body, hence, evil possession.


The body is like a cloth that we wear. The spirits wear our bodies in other to walk in this physical world.

Now, the activities of this Spirits, good or bad, makes them who or what they are.

There's just one Holy Spirit because he is Omnipresence. There are somany demons because they are not. They had to scather themselves everywhere men are found, in order to subdue man under the dominance of Satan.


They possess men and make man do evil to make man responsible and sinful before God, with the the sole aim of taking man to hellfire.

Do you know why he does that?

Satan knows how much God loves man. Hurt man is hurt God deeply. So, he makes man turn against God. Satan knowing how the supernatural laws work, knows that, without willingness and responsibility, it's not possible to lay allegations agaisnt a man, So Satan makes man be willing and respinsible for his actions.


So, yes, Fallen Angels, are demons. Witches are human beings possessed by demons.

The Allah Akbar don't mean violence, it simply means God is great in English. Just because he said that don't mean he practice Islam. Arab is a language, just like English is. There are Arab Muslims and Arab Christians and even some who got no religion for themselves. But these people are all banned together by one language.. Islam is a religion of peace, From cover to cover of the Quran never support killing of human, taken life is forbidden. I guess he learnt what he did from his own skills.
