PLEASE READ⚠️

It all started on 10th of June when Helen had collapsed at home as a result of shortage of blood. She was rushed to a hospital nearby where she was treated (blood transfusion). Few days before she was discharged, she started feeling a sharp pain around her hip/leg . We thought it was because of the hospital bed, so we changed the bed and slightly massaged the leg. As the pain continued, we informed the doctor and he said it might be because of her sleeping posture, so we let it go.

The pain deteriorated a day after she was discharged which made us rush her to a general hospital. On getting to Ikorodu General Hospital (IGH), the doctor said she needed more blood as her blood is below normal. We complied and treatment started. All this time, Helen never stopped complaining about her leg and the doctors said they couldn’t find anything wrong with her leg. She was asked to get an X-ray done which later revealed she has Septic Arthritis.

After about 6 weeks, Helen was referred to Igbobi where she can get proper treatment. On getting to Igbobi, she was asked to carry out another X-ray which she did. It was after this moment that the specialist made it known to us that the only solution is for her to get a Hip Replacement Surgery done as soon as possible.

The aggregate estimate for all the procedures and associated costs is set at N2,320,000 (two million, three hundred and twenty thousand Naira).

I never knew a day like this would come when I solicit for funds for myself or anyone close to me. I struggled putting this out at first, but I realized I have to do what I have to do to save my friend. We’ve spent a lot of money already in the past few months and as it stands, Helen is honestly not financially, emotionally, and mentally capable of doing this alone.

We will be extremely grateful for any help we can get.

I have many good and horrible experiences with clients too numerous to mention.
You’ll get frustrations from fellow realtors, and clients alike.
I’ve had a client who finally inspected a property after about 2 cancellations. He asked me ti make offer to the seller on his behalf which was rejected and still asked me to make a better one because he needed to close immediately and that was accepted. He kept giving excuses after then. I’m experienced in the biz though and that’s why I didn’t take it to heart.
If you’re a newbie, be wary of your fellow agents and clients alike whose agenda is to circumvent others.

Debtors are wicked o.

We once handled a case where a debtor went to tie down his loan officer at a juju house so he would forget the loan...it took the intervention of the Audit department of the microfinance bank and the family's prayer to redeem the guy...cos from the onset,the customer never intended to pay back the loan.

And unfortunately, it's a civil case...Nigeria constitution never had stiff penalties for debtors until recent acts. That's why i prefer to give than lend if I can.

My advice: register on AltSchool and apply for a tech skill. Learn it dilligentky for one year while receiving insults from your parents. Don’t let that bother you.

After a year, apply for internships. Immediately you get one, then you can go live in Uyo. Uyo is a very nice place to live. You can live there and work from home.
