Properties / 5 Things To Do Before Investing Your Money Anywhere In Nigeria by Adekunlewrites(m): 3:45pm On Jun 07, 2021
In this post, I'd be sharing five routines I learnt from a Lagos financial expert; Mr. Dare Olutola (@damilareolutola). He checkmates himself with these 5 major steps before making any financial investment, irrespective of how sweet it is.

Ensure you share this post and read it again and again.

1. Invest in what you understand.

Learn to ask questions; how does the business/company make money? Who are the investors? How many years have they used? Try to understand the structure. Don't just jump into it, tell the person to wait, and use that waiting period to do your findings. (Acts 17:23).

2. Face certain fears:

When many people are running away from opportunities, take the opportunity of that fear. (Having done number 1 above).

Analyze why a certain Investment is crashing. Do your plus and minus then see if there's a way you can arrive at an advantage.

3. Maintain a healthy mandate.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket; especially the one you're not sure of. Keep "sustenance" money, the rest can be used to grow wealth.

4. Always think Long-term.

Some things take time. Building wealth takes time. (Hebrews 12:2) The joy that was ahead of Jesus made him invest. What was that joy? Much more greater glory.

You can invest in real estate, or any fast-growing corporate body/multinational.

5. (Matt 24) - Be Accountable.

Repeat this after me:
"The accountability of my financial decision is still my responsibility."

Ps: If you are interested in investing in REAL ESTATE Land Banking Development, where you get between 15%-72% ROI, then you want to call/ chat with me on WhatsApp.

PPS: This is the 10th edition, which means our real estate company never renege on her promises of using the funds solely for real estate purposes.

What you get when you invest in LDP:

A. Deed of Agreement signed and sealed by an independent registered Lawyer.

B. An Insurance Certificate

C. An Investment Certificate

D. A Post-dated cheque.

I've done all due diligence on this before recommending them.

.

All you need to do is click the link below for further enquiry (it leads to my Whatsapp DM) and type "LDP"

Cheers to profitable and wise investing.

giorgie:
I am looking for 1 or 2 plots of land to buy in Abeokuta. The followings are my criteria -
1. Land must be in a decent neighbourhood. I will consider any area of Abeokuta as long as the street/neighbourhood is decent i.e. Please picture Lekki/VGC/Ikoyi/Magodo etc VS Egbeda/Shasha/Ipaja/Alagbado. Got it?
2. No Scams or intention to defraud. All criteria and every necessary documentation pertaining to the land sale will be verified by top property lawyers, as well as with my personal connections in Ogun state.
3. Pricing must be fair. There is a reason why I am looking in Abeokuta, and not in Banana Island grin grin grin
4. Be ready to upload photos/videos of the land and its neighbouring streets on this thread. Land needs to meet my criteria enough, for me to drop everything I am doing in order to travel and see it.

If anyone in Abeokuta has any lands for sale that might fit into the categories above, please join this thread.

Many thanks.

Jobs/Vacancies / NNPC Recruitment Is A Scam. by Adekunlewrites(m): 3:16pm On Mar 20, 2019
It's really ridiculous that the system that made us rejects us intentionally at all times. If not, how will recruitment give preference to BSc over HND? Again, a graduate job opening asking for completion of Masters Degree. Who does that?

"I wonder how they expect you to get a Master's Degree with HND for a "Graduate Trainee" opening. The hypocrisy stinks!" -Moshood Muhammed.

Even if you graduated with a Distinction in HND, you still can't proceed to apply for any position until you have completed your Masters Degree while any First Class graduate and 2nd Class upper of BSc can apply without having MSc. Now, what do we call that?

We know slots have been kept for some northerners who might not even have good grades and it's normal for others in the Niger-Delta region to have easy entry as well but, that sentiment of tertiary institution is an insult that HND attendees are fools but we aren't.

Let's forget about the shocking result that will be seen when a Lower Credit graduate of a Polytechnic stands in competition with a University First Class. Something needs to be done, please.

Frankly, AMOSUN did perfectly well in the area of state capital development in terms of outstanding infrastructure

But, the dude forked up big time in the aspect of Employees welfare, he forgot dat without perfect packages for workers, market/business people would be directly affected because the state is civil Servant state, no plenty private companies

To make it worse, HE turned MAPOLY to Yeye Poly

Not at all. If you read my last write-up, I called him Abeokuta governor. He only modernised his father's town. Even at that, there are still some places that he didn't touch because many people can't see it. And, OGTV keeps broadcasting few he did.

Power corrupts ,can't believe this guy did not learn from the last gov this same scenario played out,he should have decamped to apm to contest his senatorial seat and see if he would have won

He definitely would have failed. Lol. The man is cunningly wise. A man called Arugbo who was supposed to vie for House of Representatives in Ado-Odo/Ota reportedly collapsed after the result was pronounced. He defected to APM while he would have won on APC platform
Politics / Amosun Played God And He Failed by Adekunlewrites(m): 6:04pm On Mar 19, 2019
Something must make a politician popular especially when he or she is vying for a position. For Gbenga Daniel, it was a radio jingle of a remixed Christian hymn that went viral to herald his entry into the Ogun State Government House. It became a household song that some Christians almost forgot the original lyrics to sing; that Gbenga Daniel is coming.

Eyi o wu awi, toluwalase is a cliché often found on the posters of the incumbent governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun and many will agree with me that this phrase is nothing less than the real truth because, irrespective of man’s toils in life, only God’s will shall stand. And, this Yoruba aphorism has again proved its efficacy. Sometimes, I choose to believe that proverbial words from the Yoruba clan were carefully collected from God’s artifact because they always stand the test of time, with due respect to other tongues in my great country.

Careful study of the political kingdom of this country have revealed to me, over time, that he who gets to the top may necessarily not be qualified enough to mount the ladder but have fulfilled the requirement of honour to the important fathers and mothers of the said terrain.
We have witnessed the rising of the sun of a man who claimed to have once been in the shoes of those who have no shoe while going to school yet, made no plan to heal the hurting heels of those he had cajoled to win their votes, maybe out of pity or seeming ‘sense of belonging’.

Examining the twist of fate in the just concluded gubernatorial election in the Gateway State, it further revealed deeply; the mere talks of politicians who just tend to craft words like Advertising practitioners and/ or Marketers just to appeal to the senses of their target markets without actually being true to the facts mentioned in their message. They just want to sing sweet songs to your ears; cajole you like they fear God and will deliver on their promises. This, my uncle; Ibikunle Amosun did without actually knowing the weight those words carry!

The man whom I described in my last article as one who “hates Ogun State with exclusion” forgot that irrespective of what his physical power, wealth, intelligence, experience and affluence can do, the actual final result lies on the Almighty God who has predestined everything in this world, whose decision is also final!
I’m sure he totally forgot that there is only one man who has the capacity to make or remove kings at will. It slipped his mind that “eyan bi olorun osi” (No man like God) and that “kosi bi omode se maa tete ji de oko, iwaju loti maa ba kukute” (Irrespective of how early a child goes to the farm, he will always meet someone ahead of him).
The MAPOLY graduate who refused to show respect to the Institution that made him forgot the word of the Holy Book which says; it’s not by power, neither is it by might but by the spirit of God.

If Amosun had been conscious of his political cliché, he would have treaded softly and not try to impose any candidate on the people. His show of being wise as a one-man mopol, despising the party that made him and throwing all the state machinery behind his political son; Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade just to stall APC’s plan of bringing another person into the Government House is really worthy of praise for his bravery.

Some said it was in a bid to cover his shadowy works while the outside toga that brightens to others is that he wants to bring the Yewa people to bear rule but a critical, analytical look at the tactics he deployed at the beginning of this journey only opens to us his plans of becoming the Ogun State version of Jagaban but with the attributes of force, stinginess and lack of adhering to those around him – Tinumi ni mase.

His game would have yielded massive victory had he considered the God factor first and anoint Gboyega Nasir Isiaka as the man for the Job instead of trying to lord Triple A on the people from just nowhere. I stand to affirm that had he presented GNI, sweetness would have been the fruit of his orange tree.

But then, my two namesakes; Senator Ibikunle and Abdulkabir Adekunle did their bit as there is no sin in trying but when a clear-cut strategy is being despised, one cannot but expect this eventual outcome.
Despite the fact that Dapo Abiodun didn’t spend much and had a campaign below the extent of Amosun’s political son, the poll showed that the people’s eyes are now enlightened and as for me; an indigene of Ogun State, my belief is His Excellency trying to rule us indirectly for another four years, haven done nothing to my pleasure or that of my people in Yewa. But for God and rising intelligence of electorates, Mr. Governor would have succeeded in fooling the Yewas whom he forgot for a whole 8 years by bringing out a son from their hamlet to become the Governor.

As I congratulate Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR for his victory in the midst of powerful fellow contestants, I wish to let him know that man didn’t take him to that governorship throne other than the fact that it’s been pre-arranged by God. And here is a food of thought; for every opportunity God gives you to explore, taking another route other than the right and narrow way will make Him take the grace from you to be enjoyed by another. Senator Ibikunle Amosun lost the opportunity of making someone in the right way but chose to play the match in a stadium full of thorns and refusing to honour the platform where he was made.

Well, I hope he has learned his lessons. In the name of being loyal to someone who threw away his own cap of loyalty, several politicians who shouldn’t have defected are now wailing for their defeat while the wise ones stood and soared to victory. We can count the number of those that won on the APM platform!

All said and done, I hope that in future, we all would always remember that no matter who we think we are or have become, the one who has the final say will forever remain God. Like Broda Shaggi, let me say thank you!

Politics / Amosun Hates Ogun With Exclusion by Adekunlewrites(m): 6:28pm On Feb 20, 2019
Ibikunle Amosun, it is worthy of note, needs to be eulogized and, probably – appreciated, for it would be unwise to be ungrateful to a man that stood as an icon of development within the infrastructural hemisphere of Ogun state during his double spell as the executive governor.

The Gateway State governor has, without a doubt, worn the state a new toga – refreshingly and beautifully, which could stand the status of some locations in Lagos State - the respected Centre of Excellence which flanks Ogun by the West and remains her closest neighbour.
Governor Amosun’s name would be recounted in the history book as one, who has given a facelift to the state, making it look attractive, captivatingly entice, and ravishingly stimulate investors into the state capital. Yes! The state capital.

No doubt, the man, Ibikunle Amosun has exemplified a show of outright selfishness and prejudice in favour of his town -Abeokuta. It is evident, beyond a reasonable doubt that prejudice exists in terms of infrastructural development among other parts of the state compared to the level of riches bestowed, buried and planted so to say, in the Olumo city.

Recall an aphorism that says; ‘a tree cannot make a forest’; same cannot be said of Abeokuta and particularly Mr. Governor who believes the state capital can make a state. Never! Abeokuta alone can never make a state, irrespective of what has become of it, courtesy of Governor Amosun.

By that show of imbalance, the executive governor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has shown a sheer ravaging nonchalant, demeaning attitude towards other branches that make up the whole tree known as Ogun State. If we would not feign ignorance, many burghers would relate and concur to the fact that, huge neglect, in form of an embargo, has been slammed on other towns and cities of the great state.
It will please you to know that Ogun State is made up of thirty-one cities and towns put together yet if Amosun would publicly declare his achievements throughout his stay in the Government House, 85 - 90% would be seen to have benefitted the city under the rock.
This anomaly calls for proper scrutiny because votes were gathered from polling units across the whole state to make the son of Amosun the governor. Then, why being chauvinistic and make others suffer little or no development?

Oh! Kudos to you for trying than your predecessors but then, of what essence does it reveal, if you cannot outstandingly succeed beyond those people – for the sake of posterity and fairness?

Of a truth, the place of fairness has been thrashed into a bottomless pit in this soon-to-end administration and, all His Excellency is concerned with, is a systemic way to install his favourite as if we are in a monarchical system.

Amongst other ongoing projects in the state, of course, I’m speaking of Abeokuta are; the new building of OGTV at Ajebo, Ultra-modern supermarket arena in Oke-Ilewo which is called Abeokuta City Centre just opposite the popular Iwe-iroyin House. Ogun Teaching Institute, New Dawn Gardens and, another Estate in Oke Mosan. Worrisome among the projects are the Model schools all around with no consideration of Talakawas children who constitute the largest number of voters in the state. 8 years down into the government, the employers (voters) cannot benefit from the works they sent their own employees (politician) to do in the public office. What a sad story!

Without denying the 'giant strides' of the rebuilding agenda government, Panseke and Oke Mosan can testify. Nevertheless, Mr. Governor needs to be called to order. This dividend must be evenly distributed because; taxes also erupt from Ilaro, Idiroko, Ijoko, Ota, Ijebu and the likes. Even though the road tarred within Ota Palace now has some potholes, we want to believe it’s as a result of the industrial companies with long vehicles around the territory.

If other parts of Ogun State have to battle the neglect for now, maybe because "gbogbo ę lama se" (we would complete all projects), is it safe to say those areas should refrain from payment of taxes and other dues? What is being done concerning the Gateway Hotel at Tollgate which used to bring lots of revenue to the state? These are questions earnestly begging for answers.

Recently, shamefully - the Governor demanded the return of funds spent on the repair of federal roads around his state which sprouted questions from well-meaning people of the state. While It is normal for state governors to request for monies spent on federal roads, major of those roads are nothing to write home about.

What has Amosun done to Atan-Agbara road, Papa-Sagamu and Sango-Idiroko which appears to be in a situation of misery? Owode-Ilaro, Papa-Ilaro and Sango-Ijoko en route Berger roads are there begging for serious attention since his second-term of rebuilding commenced yet, it remains nothing to write home about.
Ogun State has become an island of uncompleted roads, left to a den of apathy and despair – commuters are at the mercy of bad road networks. One cannot comfortably boast of a link road from Abeokuta to Ibadan since that which connects Odeda and Obantoko axis is a synonym for massive disaster. But, the sycophantic works of PR is all we watch on Ogun State Television whereas; nothing of significance can be pointed at to have been enjoyed by the whole state.

Well, the time may appear over for your government, but, it is not yet May 29, 2019. With the appropriation bill for the coming year you just laid before the state House of Assembly, it is hoped that you would complete all outstanding projects and remember other zones in projects execution, going forward.

Let it be noted, His Excellency, you’re the EXECUTIVE State Governor, not a city or town Representative. Amosun, like our Ogun State anthem, don’t shy away from major duties. As such, I say; ISE YA!
