omongbatic: Igbos have taken their rightful place economically in Nigeria as a country; however, the SE has not. The only way the SE will take its rightful place in Nigeria is for SE to de-invest in other zones. Here I must then link the term ''SE'' with ''Igbo''. Igbos have to go back home to SE in large numbers and repopulate that place; they must invest more at home and eventually be plentiful enough in SE to get more federal allocation, and in return cause the SE to make more contribution to the national cake. Any investments Igbos make outside of the SE (and there are thousands of such investments worth trillions) are investments that counts for other zones. Remember ethnicity is not even in the census data. So, even if Igbo-owned activities continue to enrich Lagos, PH, Abuja and Kano among other states, it amounts to nothing economically for the SE.Endorsed and very ''gbam-edly'' too. Igbos will be the ones to make or mar themselves in Nigeria. |

Anambra Carries out First Heart Surgery Anambra Carries out First Heart Surgery field_img[0]['view']–> Anambra State may have started reaping the fruits of its massive investment in the health sector with the series of heart surgery that is on going at St. Joseph Specialist Hospital, Adazi Nnukwu at the moment. The surgery is being carried out by a team of 15 Doctors and medical workers led by the renowned Anambra-born Cardiac surgeon, Dr. Joseph Nwiloh, who is based in the United States and is globally regarded as one of the best in the world. The building housing the Heart Clinic was named after him by the former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi, who built it as a way of celebrating worthy Anambra sons and daughters and hold them out as role models for the young. Dr. Nwiloh who helped in equipping the centre, thanked God for His mercies and Peter Obi for his vision. He promised to even work harder to make sure the centre becomes fully functional. Gov. Peter Obi who was visiting the State and was requested by Dr. Nwiloh to witness the first surgery on Saturday, said he was happy at the many fruits of the collaboration between the Church and the Government. He said he was even happier that his successor, Chief Willie Obiano has continued in the collaboration, saying that the ultimate beneficiaries were the people of the State. Speaking on the development, the President General of Adazi Nnukwu, Mr. Ben Enemuo said the people of the town were happy over the development. He thanked God for the gift of Peter Obi who initiated the Heart Centre and commended his successor for the promise to build on his foundation. The former Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Lawrence Ikeakor who visited the hospital to witness the surgery said that with the development, Nigerians may not have the need to travel outside the country again for categories of heart diseases requiring surgery. The team of American doctors and medical staff who assisted Dr. Nwiloh were honoured by Gov. Willie Obiano on 8 August, 2014 during a banquet at the Government House Awka. http://www.obaze2014.com/2014/08/19/anambra-carries-out-first-heart-surgery/

GenBuhari: My wife's mother recently became very ill after attending one American medical unit which sprang up in Anambra state, they gave her high BP medication and she is now seriously ill.But many of those are Americans are Anambra indigenes. Are you implying that Anambra indigenes abroad, all medical professionals, brought their white medical colleagues to poison Anambra people at home? |
texazzpete: Since you have no issues cherry-picking pictures, why should I not pick any picture I disagree with to tear your argument apart?Cherry-picking what? Is there any of those pictures that is false? You want to tear an argument with 18 pictures apart using just 2 pictures? You are very laughable. BTW, how do you know how much rain fell in Enugu? Did you measure it? |
texazzpete: Nice try, but this Chinese airport flood happened after nearly a week of torrential rainfall that killed 15 people and displaced nearly 3 million. It happened June this year and was a major emergency in South China.Oga, how many pictures are posted here? Na only you waka come see just one picture? Diaris Olodumare oh! |
Mekateka: forget that spirit, it was just mouth service. The man who declared the 3Rs never did anything positive the people just to pleased the core - hausa man. The subsequent leaders equally ignored them only for OBJ to grant pardon without giving them the actual substance they need to survive. All just to pleased the hausa man. Today GEJ has finally broken the JINX, hausa man can go and die.Whether Gowon or GEJ, it's all in the spirit of 3 Rs |

Goddex: A blockage of the drain pipe during a heavy is enough to cause temporary flooding. Nothing is strange here.Thank you Which is easily escalated by the fact that airports are flat-terrained and so no slopiness to take away excess water if drainage is blocked.
