This empty heads won't stop amusing me. Are they jittery of free and fair congress already? This lie is dead on arrival. The Era of courtocracy has come to an end. Buruju must be ready for free and fair election and no the usual imposition.
Politics / Re: A Visionary Leader And Tactful Politician Justus Gbenga Daniel - Ogd At 60 by AdeleyeL: 9:23am On Apr 07, 2016
It is a pity we still have these kinds of commentators on nairaland. Like him or hate him, OGD remains one of the best things that ever happened to Ogun State. He remains the worker friendly governor in the state. He created jobs for the teeming youths. OGD built schools, built low cost estates, built stadia, paid gratuity and enmolment, he gave out massive scholarship, roads were constructed while local content policy was enshrined. Most of the thugs abusing him here may have never lived in Ogun State before. Media propaganda against OGD won't work. He remains our hero and Leader. Where OGD goes,i follow!!! Haters can go and hug tranformer

Politics / Re: Ogun State At 40, "This Governor, OGD, Touched Our Lives" by AdeleyeL: 3:44pm On Feb 03, 2016
All the current government has been doing is bridges that lead to nowhere. OGD encouraged private participators, local content and all his programs were geared towards job creation. This man call OGD really touched our lives.

Yes,he touched our lives. Is it the tasued, the 3 stadia, the massive employment? Or the conducive environment for the private participators? OGD remains one of the best thing to happen to ogun State. I am a living witness today!!! Let haters and paid agents go and hug transformer

Politics / Re: Frustration, Agony As Nigerians Celebrate Yuletide Amidst Unending Fuel Scarcity by AdeleyeL: 9:38am On Dec 26, 2015
Buhari has betrayed his mentor, ex-Uruguay President

Okey Igbokwe

Former Uruguay President Jose Mujica was reputed to be the poorest president in the world. With a net worth of just $1,800, a 1987 rickety Volkswagen beetle, a pet dog. And lived in his wife’s farm, away from the luxury and grandeur attached to his office. He lived an extremely poor and austere lifestyle, in order to make his nation and citizens rich. He donated all his salaries to charity and maintained no single staff.

Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria rode on the image of this man during all his campaigns to win people's sympathy.
He fooled people with his mean, austere appearance. Even theorized how he had been very poor and unable to afford his house rents or fuel his car. He advertised how he feeds on N20 satchet tea daily as a convincing sign of his aversion for opulence. He captured the appearance of a man who would never touch a dime not belonging to him, and who may die today of abject poverty.

He presented this picture to ride on the emotions of the gullible.
In sharp contrast to the personality he presented during his struggle to win power, Buhari have shown how seriously he valued personal riches, opulence and splendour as soon as power was given to him.

Instead of living on his cattle farm in Daura like poor Jose Mujica to save money for his country, he preferred the more exotic and palatial Aso villa where life feels like in the paradise. Before he would agree to pack into Aso Rock with his family, he had to spend nearly a billion naira of taxpayers’ money changing and renovating everything he met on ground to make it tasteful. Quite contrary to the thrifty and austere character he made people believed he was during his campaigns.

Instead of retaining the old car which he claimed he was unable to fuel in order to save tax payers money and build riches for his people, just like Mujica, Buhari is now travelling in convoy of exotic cars that are worth nearly the budget of most African countries. A clear departure to the lifestyle he claimed to live.
Instead of living on his much advertised N20 satchet tea, he is now throwing costly parties all over the place. His wife has even thrown a rich party for social media urchins who helped his husband to sell the lies and propaganda that swayed emotions for him to win power. All at the expense of tax payers money.

This is in sharp contrast to the lifestyle Jose Mujica and his wife lived in their poor farm to save money for their country.
In clear contradiction of the austere and poor picture of himself he presented before the elections, Buhari has shown that not all that glitters is gold. And how risky it is to give power to a notorious zealot.
Here, unlike Mujica, Buhari is living a life of opulence and extravagance instead of living in his cattle farm, thereby squandering away resources meant to develop his country, while millions of the people he rules rot in abject poverty.

Education / Re: Ogun Education In A Mess:oou TASUED Ranks Poorly In NUC Rating by AdeleyeL: 11:10am On Aug 15, 2015
This is the manifestation of the rot Gov Amosun has brought to the state educational sector. Education used to be an industry in Ogun before the enthronement of this government. The best secondary schools in nigeria used to be Iganmode Grammar School,Ado-Odo Otta,Mayflower Ikenne etc! The yearly National Teacher's Award used to be swept by Ogun Teachers in both Primary & Secondary Category. Various National Academic Competitions were used to be dominated by Ogun State. Cowbell, NSE Debate, JETS Competition, National Mathematics Competition, NNPC quiz competition and whole lots more were been won by Mayflower, BBHS,Iganmode,Our Lady, Ijebu Ode Gram,Adeola, Abeo Gram, AGGS, all in Ogun State. What has happened to this glorious tradition? OOU was at a time the best state university in Nigeria! Mapoly used to be number 1 state polythecnic. What is the state of infrastructure in these institutions?

The recent revelation in the passage of SS1 English Language Unified Examination Question painted a little about the deep rot in our educational system. Termly examination are not been written again! Students no longer have dossier for the one they managed to write. Academic calender has been grossly distorted. Running costs are not given for over two years. Teachers are heavily being owed. Classrooms are dilapidated. Promotion is stagnant! Governor Amosun must wake up and fix this sector! Ministry of Education is a service ministry and not a profit making one. The governor must live with this reality and stop extorting parents and innocent guardians . To transfer a student from one school to another in Ogun now cost between 15,000-20,000. Is this the legacy our forefathers bequeathed? Pa Awolowo must be cursing Amosun and his accomplices in his grave for destroying his legacies.
Education / Re: Amosun Sacks Workers For Setting ‘offensive’ Exam Questions - PUNCH by AdeleyeL: 9:23am On Aug 13, 2015
This is not only sad but wicked. Amosun is a dictator and he must be condemned on this. How can you sack these gallant officers for anoffence they know nothing about? Everything in that passage are nothing but the truth. Ogun educational system is in shamble.
