JUST IN: Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq accompanies President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu to the venue of the collection of the President-elect's Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.

Asiwaju Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was officially declared President-elect by INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, in the early hours of today, having polled the highest number of valid votes in the presidential election.

AbdulRazaq is a top ally of the President-elect. The state chapter of the APC was known to have delivered 100% delegates votes to Asiwaju at the primaries. Similarly, Kwara occupies a top position among states that delivered huge votes to the President-elect, with the state APC winning all of its National Assembly positions, in what is now being described as a repeat of the 2019 feat in the north central state.
