Stop dat wubbish! I have attended many Yoruba introduction and traditional weddings. They do not collect any kind of money that is up to 100k there....because they will tell you they do NOT sell their daughters. I have plans to marry from their region this year, so don't spoil my calculations, puhleeze!

Hehehehehe.... Yoruba introduction wouldn't even cost you up #30k if you want it simple, but you will be surprised when you see the engagement list which would be given to you on your intro day or after... Some will even include a cow in the list cheesy

Are you married? Why should the post be edited? Introduction these days is more or less like an engagement.

You go to the family of your fiance with your friends and relatives, with at least two baskets, one containing fruits, the other containing provisions depending on your capability.

After the intro, the two families talk about the wedding date while the engagement list is given to the groom-to-be.
