During the mandatory NYSC year, I was posted to a boarding house up north with no pay and someone like me who was coming from Makoko I had to think faster and find way of making extra bucks, I was friendly in the local assembly where I worship and the clergyman kind of liked me this makes the creating awareness for extra lesson easy for me.

As time goes on, I had two other PPAs where I hustle as a part time teacher and not as a full time classroom teacher, the pay wasn't something to write home about but at least it keep my body and soul together and that was my first and last experience as a school teacher.

Life goes on now.

It is difficult to have extra lesson in some private schools especially one that close by 5pm and still expect you to come on Saturday once in awhile plus the holidays are not really holidays because you are expected in school too. I have seen a school in Osun State where staff are not given Easter breaks. So, where is the time?

You should be teaching them creative ways of earning as a teacher like doing extra lessons for wealthy families, online teaching jobs that pays in dollars as side hustle.

Yes, God always comes through for me. Just did again yesterday and I know He'll come through again for me today. Always on time.
