Even if we do not like Trump, we have to be objective. Prof Wole Soyinka himself said he destroyed his green card in protest to Donald Trump getting elected as US president. He says he no longer wants to be a part of the US society. What is wrong if the US decides to cancel any take away his visa.
Its not about his remarks of Trump. His status as a green card holder is a privilege that enables him to be a stable member of the American Society, the man himself says he does not want that anymore.
