This group called the special anti- robbery squad that parad themselves as law enforcers. They are popularly known as "sars". The way these people operate is what i take to be lawless manner of securing lives and properties, in the sense that they arrest people for staying out late and the end of day they turn the case into a robbery case. Because these people will be tortured and forced to confess to crimes they know nothing about so as to able to charge people who come to bail a huge amount of money. Imagine someone paying one million naira as bail. These people are lawless for crissake. |
