Preparations for the March 28 and April 11 elections may have suffered a major setback, as a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to include the Young Democratic Party, YDP in the lists of its duly registered political parties.

By this judgement, INEC would be required to reprint new ballot papers for the elections which is three weeks away.

Justice Ahmed Muhammed delivered the judgment in Abuja on Wednesday.

The YDP told the court that it has candidates in all positions and ought to be included in the ballot papers which have already been printed.

According to the party, it fulfilled all the conditions for registration as contained in Section 78 (4) of the Electoral Act.

Politics[UPDATED] Court Frees Babalakin, Says EFCC Charges Defective by adeoladele(op): 4:41pm On Feb 23, 2015
A Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja has discharged the Chairman of Bi-Courtney Limited, Dr. Wale Babalakin, charged with N4.7bn fraud.

Also freed of the alleged crime by Justice Lateef Lawal-Akapo on Monday were Babalakin’s co-defendants: Alex Okoh, Stabilini Vision Limited, Bi-Courtney Limited and Renix Nigeria Limited.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had filed 27 counts bordering on conspiracy, retention of proceeds of criminal conduct and corruptly conferring benefit on account of public action against Babalakin and the others.

The allegation of the anti-graft agency was that the accused fraudulently assisted the convicted former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, to siphon public funds into foreign accounts.

But Lawal-Akapo, in his judgment, on Monday dismissed the charges by the EFCC for want of competence.

More details shortly…

Fresh Bombshell: Jonathan, Buhari not Nigeria’s next president – Prophet who predicted Abacha, Yar’Adua’s death
Royal House of David Ministry’s Prophet Godfrey Gbujie has disclosed that President Goodluck Jonathan will be the last civilian president to rule Nigeria before another civil war breaks out. He said a lot of ‘scaring’ things that we don’t even know where to start from. Here are the shocker:
Prophet Godfrey Gbujie said the nation “is at the crossroads of the last phase of 20 years reign of demons beginning from 1995-2015.”
The prophet, who claimed he predicted the deaths of General Sani Abacha and President Yar’Adua, stated that from what he saw about Nigeria in his latest revelation:
neither Muhammadu Buhari nor Goodluck Jonathan would be president in 2015.
“Buhari has a mission divinely imposed on him, but he shall not rule this country again; even if he wins, God has not determined him to find His favour. Jonathan is the last elected president of this country,” he stressed.
He refuted the possibility of military take-over, saying no coup will stand against Jonathan’s government.
However, he said “a loyal military commander will form interim government as there is going to be temporary vacancy in Aso Rock,” adding that head of the interim government would convene a national peace conference.
According to him, another crisis would erupt from the North, which will be led by two generals. “The two generals will emerge to lead a war from the North, which will eventually lead to the emergence of a young man from the East, who shall be chief peace mediator for the nation at the time of national crisis.”
The prophet, based in Owerri, who said God was angry at Nigeria’s rulers, claimed his vision reveals “the very bloody civil crises, which the Omnipotent God has decreed and is about to bring upon Nigeria.
“The nation has been condemned to geo-political disintegration and three independent nations shall emerge from her ruins. Biafrashall be re-established and Oduduwa nation shall emerge while the Northern Nigeria might prefer to answer Republic of Northern Nigeria at the time.”
He warned: “Do not despise the word of prophecy; I encourage whosoever reads or hears these prophecies to believe them and offer praises to God as each comes to fulfillment.”
PoliticsINEC: Jonathan Plans To Replace Jega With Prof Olufemi Mimiko - Newsrescue.com by adeoladele(op): 4:29pm On Feb 09, 2015
INEC: Jonathan Plans To Replace Jega With Prof Olufemi Mimiko - NewsRescue.com
Officials close to the Nigerian government have informed us that the Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who has lost fate in the current Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, intends to get him booted and replace him with “family,” so to say; someone who will never betray or embarrass the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Professor Nahzeem Olufemi Mimiko is the currently shortlisted candidate according to our credible sources.
The immediate brother of Ondo State PDP Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko; Prof. Nahzeem Olufemi Mimiko is the Vice chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University and has a straight academician record.
An attendee of the Jonathan staged National conference, better remembered as the “sleeping conference,” Prof. Femi Mimiko is an in-house man who president Jonathan is confident will not betray the party and his presidential ambition.
The top members of the People’s democratic Party, PDP were recently caught engaging in rigging several state elections with witness and recorded evidence. This was done in suit with the heads of the Nigerian army. The PDP electoral rigging machine is an open secret; however a stern INEC boss is an issue for Jonathan who is desperately seeking to oust Professor Jega.
We reported that while president Jonathan has resigned to his fate, acknowledging the 4:1 odds against him, Nigeria’s embattled oil minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, aka, the oil-goddess, will stop at nothing to ensure the “Integrity” Buhari/Osinbajo opposition does not take over power and open up the books. Billions of dollars are looted from Nigeria’s treasury and oil wealth yearly with the African Union putting the figure at $40 billion yearly, twice the national budget.
Professor Jega has been credibly reported to have been threatened at ‘gun-point,’ to force him to sign his own resignation.

PoliticsEXPOSED: Judge Paid N2billion To Disqualify Buhari; Plot Thickens To Blackmail J by adeoladele(op): 2:56pm On Feb 09, 2015
After succeeding in securing poll postponement, PDP has begun its next move to ensure that the presidential candidate of APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, does not emerge as the winner of the election.

After the postponement announcement, PDP was quick to applaud the decision while APC fumed. Millions of Nigerians sneered, even as people around the world took the news of postponement as a shock too difficult to believe. But close watchers of Nigeria’s political trend believe the success of this first move is critical to the next move to ensure Buhari is not allowed to contest the election.

Sources confirmed that it was not the security issue that was the problem in driving the election postponement agenda, it was Buhari that PDP leaders do not want. They also feared Jega is too independent and difficult to rally into the PDP scheme that will ensure that Jonathan succeeds in the plot and so he must also go.

As PDP celebrates the postponement success, the President’s kitchen cabinet is pulling another string again to ensure that if he cannot have his way to take another shot at the presidency, Buhari’s hope must also be dashed and Nigerians’ desire for change is aborted.
As reported by The Monitors few days ago, dependable sources in the know of the plot have again confirmed that the Presidency has procured a pliable judge with a bill of N2billion to give a disqualification verdict that will bar Buhari from the presidential election holding on March 28. Events in the court tomorrow, Monday February 9, will shape the events to come as already concluded by the President’s men.

It was learnt that National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki, Chief Edwin Clark, all service chiefs, some Yoruba leaders opposed to Tinubu’s clout, Ayo Fayose, and several others are insisting that Jonathan should deploy “everything at your disposal to stamp your authority to have your way”.

Fayose reportedly insisted that the President should deploy soldiers in Ekiti State, saying that he had information that APC is planning Ekiti as its base to launch resistance against the plan for the president to have his way. Sources hinted that Fayose’s suggestion was supported by Omisore, Obanikoro, Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan and Buruji Kashamu.

Sources hinted though that a caucus within PDP is urging caution against rushing into the court matter on Monday, but they explained that this is a tactical plan to cool the anger among Nigerians who are not happy about the postponement. “This may boomerang,” they reportedly cautioned.

Sources confirmed that the safety net for the judge who will disqualify Buhari is immediate relocation to Dubai where a palatial home is already prepared for him and members of his family. The plan is to relocate the judge finally from Nigeria, For the judge’s safety, he is to leave the court straight for the airport for a waiting airplane to fly him out to safety.

As part of the bargain, his proxy in Nigeria is to execute the multi-billion naira contracts facilitated by the presidency to enable the judge have a blissful sojourn in Dubai.

Starting from Monday, relentless allegations of illegal conducts will be launched against Jega. They will include embezzlement, INEC contract scams, secret deals with APC and sundry alleged crimes that will paint Jega black that will natural elicitate clamours for his sack to save the credibility of the election.

More media smear campaigns will be launched against Buhari and Jega with AIT and NTA playing leading roles. More Yoruba leaders will be drafted to lend anti-Buhari/Jega voice in the media. OPC members loyal to Faseun group will be heavily mobilized. Gani Adams is reportedly being cautious about his involvement, but reports suggest he is under tremendous pressure from Governor Segun Mimiko to join in pro-Jonathan scheme.

This came as details of Ekiti poll fixing scandal involving the President, Ayo Fayose, Musiliu Obanikoro, Chris Uba, Iyiola Omisore, General Momah and others emerged at the weekend.

It is believed that in days ahead, this scandal will dominate political space with more pressure on Fayose with Jonathan having difficulty to defend himself over his alleged involvement in Ekiti scandal.

According to sources, international media may take Ekiti matter beyond what the President may have ever contemplated. In fact, sources said Jonathan would meet the most embarrassing moment of his life as events unfold on Ekiti issue.

Facts had earlier revealed in a secretly recorded meeting of Jonathan’s men held at Fayose’s Spotless Hotel which confirmed that President Jonathan was the chief author of the scandal. That much Obanikoro explained in his speech while telling the army officer to get serious in his assignment.

Obanikoro had said in the tape: “I am not here for a tea party. I am here to carry out the assignment by Mr President.”

Details of how Fayose and his gang got INEC computers and soft copy of election materials were revealed by Fayose and Chris Uba during discussion and this was secretly recorded in the meeting.

The Army officer, Captain Sage Koli, who secretly recorded the meeting, has since resigned his commission from the Nigerian Army and fled to exile. In the tape, Fayose was heard fuming, giving details of his plan that involved the President, Chief of Army Staff, Brigadier General Momah of the 32 Artillery Brigade based in Akure. Fayose was also heard talking about how he collected soft copies of sensitive materials from INEC, including its computers. Details of the scandal are on the nets being read around the world.

Now that Jonathan will find it difficult to connive with bad elements in INEC to have access to its computers and soft copies of the election materials for illegal printing of ballot papers to fix March 23 and April 11 polls, the option left is to get rid of Buhari and blackmail Jega to force his resignation. The plan is already concluded, but whistle-blowers are at work to save Nigerians from the callous anti-democratic behaviour of the President who is fast building a reputation for himself as the most dangerous President Nigeria has ever produced.

President Jonathan has drawn a line between his ambition and Nigerians’ desire to elect the President of their choice. How the president hopes to win the battle is left to conjecture. But it is not in doubt that corrupt judges, in spite of their oath of office, have constituted themselves as a big challenge to the growth of democracy in Nigeria. But sources said Jonathan and the judge and their collaborators will be shocked out of their wits by the time the whistle-blowers monitoring their plans release the more details of their perfidy to the world leaders who abhor corruption and election manipulations.

The Monitors is on their trail too. Details of their next move will be released as they come.

PoliticsI ‘ll Defeat Regional Force, Says Shekau In New Video by adeoladele(op): 2:27pm On Feb 09, 2015
Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau vowed in a new video released on Monday that the group would defeat a regional force fighting the extremists in Nigeria’s far northeast, Niger and Cameroon.
“Your alliance will not achieve anything. Amass all your weapons and face us. We welcome you,” he said in a 28-minute speech, one of three videos posted by the Islamists on YouTube.
Troops from Nigeria have been backed by soldiers from Chad, Cameroon and Niger in recent weeks because of increased concerns about Boko Haram’s threat to regional security.
In the second of the latest videos, images of the leader of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, are shown along with archive footage and a voiceover recalling a battle between British colonial soldiers and fighters from the Sokoto Caliphate in northern Nigeria.
Shekau has namechecked al-Baghdadi before but appears to be positioning Boko Haram in a wider jihadi context by showing the Sokoto Caliphate, which was dismantled by the British in the early 20th century.
“We never rose up to fight Africa. We rose up to fight the world,” he said.
“We are going to fight the world on the principle that whoever doesn’t obey Allah and the Prophet to either obey or die or become a slave.”
On Sunday, Boko Haram militants waged twin attacks in the town of Diffa in southeast Niger, opening a new front in its offensive after repeated attacks in Cameroon’s far northern region.
The six-year uprising has become a regional crisis and on Saturday, Nigeria, Chad, Niger, Cameroon and Benin agreed to muster 8,700 troops, police and civilians to fight the group.
But Shekau dismissed the size of the force, which had previously been set at about 7,500.
“You send 7,000 troops? Why don’t you send 70 million? This is small. Only 7,000? By Allah, it is small. We can seize them one-by-one. We can seize them one-by-one,” he said in Arabic.
Shekau also directly threatened Chad’s President Idriss Deby, whose forces have attacked Boko Haram in the northeast Nigerian towns of Gamboru and Malam Fatori in recent days.
Shekau’s challenge comes after the United States said on Friday that Boko Haram could face a stronger test against more capable regional forces.
Washington estimates that Boko Haram has a core of between 4,000 and 6,000 fighters but is well-equipped after raiding Nigerian Army positions.

In this screen grab image taken on February 9, 2015 from a video made available by Islamist group Boko Haram, leader Abubakar Shekau (C) makes a statement at an undisclosed location. Barely 48 hours after the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria declared the suspension of the eight-month-old strike in Rivers State, unknown persons have bombed three separate High Courts in Degema, Isiokpo and Port Harcourt areas of the state.

The incidents were coordinated and happened almost simultaneously in the wee hours of Monday, just as the State Police Command confirmed that minimal damages were recorded and no life was lost.

It was gathered that one of the courts in Degema was completely razed by unidentified arsonists with many documents burnt beyond recognition.

Two courts in the state were attacked before the judiciary workers embarked on strike on June 10, 2014.

The All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State has berated Governor Ayodele Fayose for the arrest of students’ leaders who participated in the campaign rally of the party’s presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, in the state on Saturday.

According to the opposition party, the National Vice-President, External, National Association of Nigerian Students, Tosin Ogunkuade, has been arrested on the order of the governor for addressing the crowd during Buhari campaign in the state on Saturday.

A statement by the APC state Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatubosun, said Ogunkuade’s offence was that the student leader highlighted the challenges facing the Nigerian students, saying the present government was not capable of addressing the hardships being faced by the students in accessing quality education.

“He said to the applause of hundreds of students in attendance that Buhari presented a better hope for students in their educational pursuits,” Olatubosun said.

But Fayose said that those arrested were the APC thugs caught with dangerous weapons and recruited by one APC member in the House of Representatives to terrorise supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party in Erijiyan and Ikogosi-Ekiti.

Olatubosun said thugs trailed Ogunkuade to Ikogosi-Ekiti just 24 hours after he spoke, “where he and other students were seriously injured after they were attacked with machet and other dangerous weapons.

“After these students were attacked at Ikogosi, they ran to Efon-Alaye Police Station to report the matter. To our surprise, the police detained them before they were transferred to Aramoko-Ekiti Police Station.

“To our shock again, just this morning, one of their colleagues, Damilare Bewaji, who went to visit them at the Aramoko Police Station, was also arrested and detained by the police on the order of the governor,” he added.

Olatunbosun described the arrest as one in the series of other attacks on the APC sympathisers and supporters after Saturday’s campaign.

“Just this morning, the home of a former Commissioner for Finance under Governor Kayode Fayemi, Dapo Kolawole, escaped being razed on the order of the governor.

“His offence was that he pasted the APC flags and posters of the party’s candidates on his building and Fayose does not want to see these posters on his way to Ijurin where he is billed to install the Oba of the town. The thugs shot at Mr. Kolawole’s compound as well as that of his father, Pa Kolawole.

“It is curious that the students, who were the complainants, are now being turned into the accused, as the police are being forced to slam criminal charges against the innocent students.”

The APC spokesman urged the police to stop being partisan in the handling of political crisis in the state while he reminded the governor that he did not have the monopoly of violence.

However, Fayose in a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, announced that four APC thugs had been arrested by the police.

“The thugs were arrested with guns, axes, cutlasses and other dangerous weapons while trying to escape through Efon-Alaaye at about 3am today.

“The thugs were Odebunmi Idowu (from Ilupeju-Ekiti), Aliyu Yusuf (from Ibadan), Oladayo Obikoya (from Ikogosi) and Ogunkuade Oluwatosin (a.k.a Jasper).

“They were arrested in a red-coloured Nissan Sunny with registration number Ekiti AH 176 EFY, and were moved to the Aramoko-Ekiti Police Station, where they were detained briefly before they were moved to the Police Headquarters, Ado-Ekiti,” the statement said.

My Wife DOES NOT WORK !!!

Conversation between a Husband (H) and a Psychologist (P):

P : What do you do for a living Mr. Bandy?
H : I work as an Accountant in a Bank.

P : Your Wife ?
H : She doesn't work. She's a Housewife only.

P : Who makes breakfast for your family in the morning?
H : My Wife, because she doesn't work.

P : At what time does your wife wake up for making breakfast?
H : She wakes up at around 5 am because she cleans the house first before making breakfast.

H : My wife takes them to school, because she doesn't work.

P : After taking your kids to school, what does she do?
H : She goes to the market, then goes back home for cooking and laundry. You know, she doesn't work.

P : In the evening, after you go back home from office, what do you do?
H : Take rest, because i'm tired due to all day's work.

P : What does your wife do then?
H : She prepares meals, serving our kids, preparing meals for me and cleaning the dishes, cleaning the house then taking kids to bed.

”Whom do you think works more, from the story abovehuh

The daily routines of your wives commence from early morning to late night. That is called 'DOESN'T WORK'??!!

Yes, Being Housewives do not need Certificate of Study, even High Position, but their ROLE/PART is very important!

Appreciate your wives. Because their sacrifices are uncountable. This should be a reminder and reflection for all of us to understand and appreciate each other's roles.

All about a WOMAN ....
When she is quiet, millions of things are running in her mind.

When she stares at you, she is wondering why she loves you so much in spite of being taken for granted.

When she says I will stand by you, she will stand by you like a rock.

Never hurt her or take her wrong or for granted...

Forward to every woman to make her smile and to every man to make him realize a woman's worth...!!!
