Jonathan's reelection will prove to the world that sycophancy, propaganda, crowd madness for lies and halftruths and other vices that have so far characterised this electioneering campaigns cannot override the will of God for any nation.

And i believe that's why Mr. Jonathan needs a second chance. He wouldn't want to disappoint twice anyway.

Talking of Mr. Tinubu, i only see desperation in his eyes especially when he choosed a redeemed pastor as a vice for Mr. Buhari. The church has really lost its morale.

Mr. Jonathan did disappoint Nigerians. I believe the APC is a transformed thieves party. Some of its members are defectors from the PDP.

If the result of the new poll coordinated by Premium Times were that of the forthcoming Presidential Election, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will not only accept defeat but he'll keep a very low profile and retires off in a remote area in Otuoke.

Reason being that, with a percentage difference of 86.29, it really shows that Nigerians want change and change is inevitable. According to the Poll result, General Buhari has 3,172 votes, 92.56 as the percentage while President Jonathan only got 215 votes, 6.27 as the percentage. The gap between the two main candidates is obvious that Mr. President should start parking his bags and baggages for Otuoke.

That's a wrong assertion.

Var_dump prints out the values of the POST variable. So in essence, im checking if the values are being stored anyway.

There are diff types of debugging. It's unnecessary to use a tool in this case.

So var_dump is not old. It's very much in use.

The problem is this: you want to send values to the database that you have not connected to. Thats not going to work.

Soluton:

Connect to the database and run the query again.
Specify the database host, username and password correctly.

That's the fix.

Computer Science is a great course but not valued here in Nigeria. If you can have your way, graduate from Havard University and see how you'll become an hot cake.

Nevertheless, there are lots of tutorials online that can help you. but i'll recommend you start from www.php.net, they've got good documentation to begin with.

Hello, am having issues with php as usual

Am creating an application and in the page where people are to register (i.e register.php page) so that their data can be stored into the database is not working.

Actually every thing works well without any error but the values from the form does not get inserted into the database. here is the code after creating the form

Now the funny thing is that whenever i type the values directly into the sql statement, it works, let me show you

VALUES ('','ehis','pass','ehinome')";

When i type in the values i want inserted into the form, it works and gets inserted but when i try using variables that contains the values typed into a form, it does not get inserted.

What could be the problem, ive being on this for days. Thanks
