I have exactly this same issue. Last year there was about 60k in it, had to practically beg for my money, after many form signing and letter writing, i got my funds for school clearance after which the account was blocked again till date until i get an ID etc..

Getting ID in Nigeria isnt as easy as it should be and I've trapped some funds there which ill need by August.. Any one with help as to how to get my ID card in a month or less?

International passport is the easiest and fastest means of Identification you can get.

With NGN30,000 for 64 pages, your passport will be ready within three days.

32pages goes for about NGN27,000 but that may take weeks before you can get it.

The prices are as at April, 2016. It changes and may differ based on your location.

You can also use the cream-colored paper of your National I.D card. That is if your account is a savings account.

Hey, I didn't bring this up to boast. By the way, I worked my ass out for those guys. Spent two whole working days trying to get my ID card from NIMC. After the efforts prove unsuccessful and me not receiving any calls from them anymore, I went to the bank to explain the prevailing issue only to find the do called people whose jobs seems to be on the line relaxed and telling me they were sorry for such an impromptu alert as it was due to a panic caused by a message from CBN.

I post this hear cause their claim at instance was suspicious. Thought I was an object of an intended scam. How's that for immaturity, lame brain?

Alagba, you agreed to gtbank's terms and conditions before applying to create an account with them.

Those staffs have nothing to do with you. It is mandated you fulfil their requirements before you can access your account.

What you just did is, you've taught other bankers not to help customers like you in time of distress.

You weren't scammed but this is an outright blackmail, in my opinion.

Ignorance is not an excuse here

Talk is cheap but that doesn't call for disrespect. You should watch how you talk to people next time.

Also, you boasting about it is childish and immature.

If those officials didn't help you make that withdrawal, would you not have come on NL and call them names?

If i can get your question correctly, you want to change from ex. to something more like example.com or ex.com; right?

If yes, Just follow this process

1. Export content from your current blog
2. Import content to your new blog
3. Add a site redirect to direct your visitors at old blog to new blog

There are many imports and export plugins for wordpress. All in one WP Migration may be all you will need. You may as well search the wordpress directory for best plugins.

I hope it helps wink

For the love of SEO and ranking, domain redirect is not the best thing to do. It will depend on the headers you are sending too.

Nairaland / General / Operation Crackdown: Army Clear Njimia Camp In Sambisa Forest (photos) by Adesege(m): 10:23am On May 18, 2016
According to a statement on Nigerian Army website, the Nigerian Army has said it has cleared Njimia camp in Sambisa forest.

Read the statement here:

In continuation with the special clearance and rescue operations otherwise known as Operation CRACKDOWN, within the Sambisa forest, troops of 7 Division have yesterday Tuesday, 17th May 2016, cleared Boko Haram terrorists out of their Njimia camp within Sambisa forest.

While advancing earlier in the morning on the same day, the troops also cleared Boko Haram terrorists camps at Alafa, where they encountered heavy resistance from Boko Haram terrorists and killed 15 of them.

The troops continued their advance through Alafa Main , Alafa Extension and Alafa Yaga-yaga, where they cleared remnants of the Boko Haram terrorists hibernating there before arriving at their main objective, Njimia.

Apart from destroying the camps, the troops rescued 41 hostages who were mostly women and children. The troops also recovered 2 Dane Guns, several vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles belonging to the terrorists.

One significant aspect of this feat today was the combination of ground forces assault, Nigerian Air Force Jets provision for combat air support and monitoring of the operation directly by the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu on board Air Force reconnaissance aircraft.

It is gratifying to note that no casualty was recorded by own troops through the conduct of this operation.

Thank you for your usual cooperation.

Nairaland / General / Breaking: Labour To Proceed On Strike Tomorrow Over Fuel Hike by Adesege(m): 6:45pm On May 17, 2016
ABUJA – THE Nigeria Labour Congress,NLC and the Trade Union Congress,TUC have resolved to proceed mobilise workers to begin indefinite strike, tomorrow over fuel hike.

The workers’ action, according to Vanguard source, is to take effect from 12 midnight today.

This was the resolution of the union at its National Executive Council,NEC meeting, held today,at the NLC headquarters in Abuja.

Although, newsmen, who waited anxiously to be briefed of the development at the meeting, were left unattended to,a source told Vanguard that the workers’ unions resolved to proceed on an indefinite strike, beginning from 12 midnight.

The source said the unions took the decision to mobilise workers on strike, after exhaustive deliberations on last week’s fuel hike by the federal government and the attendant consequences on the Nigerian workers and the general public.

strike-a

“Our decision not to suspend the strike was further fuelled by today’s injunction by the Industrial Court, restraining us from proceeding on the strike expected to begin tomorrow,”the source who said.

He disclosed that the two bodies were still studying development and may not honour the meeting expected with the government at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation this evening.

Vanguard gathered that the factional NLC,led by the General Secretary of the National Union of Electricity Employees,Joe Ajaero, may not join the strike.

He had hinted yesterday that his leadership was not favourably disposed to embarking on the strike.

As at the time of filing this report, the leadership of the NLC and the TUC were yet to turn up for continuation of the meeting which was adjourned earlier.

$1= N199 at the CBN but above N320 at the blackmarket. FG tells Marketers to buy $ at the blackmarket rate and use to it import PMS as CBN cannot provide it at the normal rate.

So if PMS was to be sold at N86.50 when a $ was 199, how much will PMS need to be sold if $ is say 322 ?

322/199 × 86.50= N140

That's why FG asked them not to sell it beyond N145

One can also say that the present govt created scarcity of dollar etc to remove subsidy.

They tell u it's deregulation of the downstream sector and not subsidy.

Nothing can justify such action.

Also, be logical for once and stop being insultive.

No enough fund to subsidized fuel as the Vice President stated, i think its better we deal with this situation once and for all.( My Opinion thou)

What we should be asking ourselves is

How does NGN14+NGN86.5==NGN145.

Removing the subsidy is not the problem but the double standard they introduced is.

But I don't think it's logical to fund my business with my salary.
