The company operates more like a sole proprietorship, and I'm exploring the option of paying personal income tax myself, but I need to inquire about the process.

Unfortunately, there are no tax or pension records available from this company.

I'm in need of 20 points to meet the required threshold:
Age : 25 points
Qualification : 15 points
IELTS : not done yet.
Although I have about 8 years of working experience, I lack tax records to claim those points.

I considered the self-employed route, but my company was recently registered, and I don't have updated documents yet.

Given these circumstances, what would be your advice on obtaining the remaining 20 points required for the application?

Yes! I collected and activated it on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Apparently it has an "issuance" date of November 23, 2023, which is exactly 3 weeks after my capture. I did my capturing on October 30, 2023.

PS. The collection/activation lasted less than 10 mins.

I underwent the capture process on the same day as you did at Alausa, and I've been attempting to track it, but it's still in processing.
Did you use the DIY method?

If so, mine should be ready too, allowing me to collect it after the holiday season.

it depends on your assessing body. Vetassess will be okay with bank statement only but with DHA and most other bodies, you will need pension or tax in addition to other payment evidences.

Accountant assessment requires IELTS Academic or PTE - minimum of 7 or 65 in each band.
If you did not graduate from Accounting from OAU, FUTA, UI or Unilag, you need to add your Masters.

I paid a total of 26,000 Naira online for the 32-page passport, and my collection date after the capturing process was scheduled for January 26, 2024.

I made an online payment using my card, and you can print three essential documents after completing your application: the online passport application form, the payment receipt, and the acknowledgement slip.

To reprint these documents, visit their portal at https://passport.immigration.gov.ng/.
You will need your application number and reference number, which can be found in the application form.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their contributions. I visited the Alausa Passport office for my passport renewal today and would like to share my experience.

Upon arrival, I was directed to the servicom hall for the DIY team, where a helpful staff (lady) reviewed my documents.

She instructed me to obtain a brown file, rewrite my renewal application on A4 paper, and make a photocopy of the last page of my passport (not just the data page). After swiftly completing these tasks, she cross-checked my documents, added my two recent passport photos, and handed me the file to take to room 12.

In room 12, a meticulous lady thoroughly examined my application letter, verifying details such as the passport number, expiry date, and my signature within the letter. She then signed and dated it.

Returning to the previous staff member, she double-checked the work from room 12 and made some notations on my file. I was then directed to another area for passport capturing, a process that took less than 30 minutes.

The entire experience was remarkably efficient, taking less than an hour in total.

Documents required for renewal:

- Brown file (available for ₦500 on-site)
- Copy of the online passport application form
- Copy of the payment receipt
- Copy of the acknowledgement slip
- The passport you wish to renew
- Copy of both the data page and the last page of the expired passport
- Two recent color passport photographs
- Copy of your NIN slip
- Application letter written on A4 paper.

Yes, some people have gotten their Visas with Lincoln university, but to spend $XX,000 On an MBA from an unranked school (even Lagos Business schools is a better alternative) will not seem like a wise investment to a very strict VO( that interviewed you)

Well, the VO simply didn't buy this answer; the average Nigerian graduate doesn't want to end up working in their parents SME, even entrepreneurial grads prefer to stay on their feet. Next time, you can simply say your work at an Agricultural Processing plant. Never volunteer more information than is neccessary

Before you apply to this school for an mba, check where the alumni are currently working. That should give you an idea whether to attend that school or not.

There is way too much myopic, knee jerk, shortermism around here. Mostly because many here are frankly unintelligent.

There is a reason top mba’s are expensive, greater than 50% of the cost is repaid in the connections you make and type of jobs available to you. A $25000 mba is cheap today but will earn you nothing tomorrow. I’d rather take school loans to get in a top mba program, knowing I’ll make all that money back in less than 5 years at a top earning job. But of course... I’m just pissing in the wind with the kind of folks here. The serious students already left the country months ago.

I was denied an F1 visa on the 4th of December. I want to reapply and I've filled my DS-160 form and paid the visa application fee. But I'm having issues scheduling a visa interview as I can find where to book a new interview on my profile in the visa application page.
