I am trying to cancel a visa application but got this warning. "If you cancel this appointment, then you will have exceeded the limit of appointments canceled, and will not be able to schedule another appointment until another MRV fee has been paid." Can anyone pls explain this? thanks.

I wasted my time on Viu cancelling my appointment earlier stated for 6th of May grin. Already on the university hunt but I noticed Calling grad advisors directly really saves heck of a time than emails. I will need help on Gre cry

It's good that Everest Institute has been shut down.

Other for profit schools will have the same fate one day. So don't waste your time on VIU.

Bro, I've not been to the US and believe me, I know all these you are saying. Not new really. I was just surprised when most people find it difficult to believe the Ghanaian guy. Was just not cool with your sarcastic tone in my simple reply to you @nairaland visa offer or whatever. Anyway I've been on this forum since 2011 or thereabout and I have enjoyed a lot from everyone including you. Just be simple in your reply to people and tag no one any name they don't bear. Thank God I've shared my own success story here today as well. And I must appreciate you and other great guys especially @imperioux...

I don't have a printer. Can I complete the DS-160 form and print the barcode confirmation page later?

@Adewale1990. kindly get this information right now. The school you got admission from 'Virginia international University' has seriously been tagged at the embassy. so anyone that went with that school doesnt come back with Visa. so try and confirm very well and i am telling you based on what i know about the school... have been Travelling industry for past 6 years now and we have had several and i mean sevaral experiences. so watch it very well.

slimmy05:
Its just laziness on the part of the student who settles for such glorified college. I seriously wish he listens and re-strategise.

Thank you. For how long will the visa receipt be valid?

Walspring:

Is better you apply to another school that is well recognized and has a good research and background reputation and forget about VIU

Then cancel your visa appointment until you get admission into another school

After going on with other process the earliest date i received for my Visa appointment is 6th of May. The University is not ready to issue an extension letter and i have already done the necessary aspa embassy prep. P.s advise
