1. Answer is C... Reason

In other for a firm to experience an increasing returns to scale. He must attain an increase in output more than his input... Now but the question says if he doubles his input and output is between 20-40... That is constant returns to scale. Because 20-40 is the same thing as saying he doubles both input and output. Now lets say he doubles input, and output is between 20-50.... That is Increasing returns to scale because the ouput is more dan double.

2) ANSWER is D... Reason

This question i say i brought out 4rm law of diminishing returns. Now, look at the following analysis...

a) The point where TP is at its maximum.... MP is Zero.
b) As far as TP is positive. MP is decreasing.
c) When TP is decreasing, MP is negative
d) When TP started rising, MP is above AP.... ANSWER to d Question.....
e) Also note dat wen TP is decreasing, Law of diminishing returns has set in. And at that point, MP is below AP

3) Answer is B... Check analysis Number 1 for more explanation cux the output variable is less than input here..

4) ANSWER here is B.... This question is from the topic, UTILITY...
