I'm not in the position to state what your chances are being that life has a way of playing tricks on us. I havent tried any of these chambers either. I hope to begin my applications next week. What I do know however is that good grades/merit isnt enough to get u in. I have 2.1 both from Unilag and Law skul, yet I still get a bit unsure of myself. I think they also prefer foreign students and pple from rich homes so as to get them heavy briefs.

Be that as it may, there is no harm in trying.

I sha hope say ur facts are right cos 4rm wat I knw about PHB, they are very progressive and forward thinking.

I wrote the test and passed. That was some time in August. I was invited 4 an interview about a month agao. I later on got a txt msg tellin me that I passed the interview and I wld be contacted as soon as possible for the nxt stage in the recruitment process. That was like a month ago. As soon as possible seems to have gotten a whole new definition.

Abeg does anyone know wat PHB is doing?

I think we need to strike a balance btw what is right and expedient according to biblical standards and the prevailing worldly situation. By the Bible, sex before or out of marriage is frowned at. So it wld be hipocritical, misleading and sinful for the church to distribute condoms, AIDS or no AIDS. As for family planning, the couples can go to a health center for their daily load of contraceptives. Why must u involve the church? I think a clear line shld be drawn btw the church and the world. There shld be no minglin of the waters.

I have never read a more inaccurate account of Zenith Bank and its policies. U sound like someone who has been trying to get into Zenith Bank to no avail and has now taking to slader (in a libelous form). Zenith Bank staffs are well informed and are always in the know, marketer or no marketer. It is believed that knowledge is key to customer service. Zenith Bank also trains its staffs regularly. They have an insatiable appertite for continous staff development via training. Zenith Bank does not fire its staffs without due cause. None performance alone cannot be a reason to revoke your contract of employment. Zenith is a key leader in the banking industry with high business morals and respect for human dignity of service.

ls someone shld pls carry out the survey recommended by cgift and tell us the result.

I have written the GSE test an applied for a number of jobs on the website but up till now I am yet to secure any job via the test. Maybe its because my test score wasnt so high(64%). I got a call once from a cordinator telling me that a client of theirs has signified interest in me, but that was all.

But I think it is really an important exam as most organizations now make taking the test a condition precedent for employment.

For me I think the smartest choice wld be Zenith Bank. The only think BankPHB has got working for them is that the pay is seemingly good. Byond that, I dont see any basis for comparism btw the two banks. Besides, its not true that Zenith is the worst paying bank. EAs now receive 2.9 in Zenith. In this era of salary reversals, what wld happen if u go to Bankphb and the salary is slashed down? But as for Zenith, its a fantastically inpressive bank. You wld be able to hold ur head up high anytime anyday. Its a great trainning ground. You are revered, you are respected. You become a hot cake in the banking industry. If u leave Zenith, anyother bank wld scramble for you. Can the same be said about Bankphb?
So beloved, think beyond money.

I dont think that there is need for any debate here except you just want to hear what pple have to say. Everyone knws that UNILAg rules. There is notin that can be done about that. That is the norm. That is the way things have always been. That is the way things are always gonna be. Everybody wants to go to LAG. Every guy wants to be a Lag guy. Your status as a LAG guy improves. You become a force to be reckoned with. You are respected; you are revered. You are loved by all and admired by all. This is the plain and simple truth. You can hate LAG all u want, but that dosnt stop them from being the cream de la cream of the Nigerian University.
