Yea but then, I put the sim I used on my bank account on small nokia phone (And that is the only sim I locked) So losing it is not a big deal as long as my data is safe and secure.

Why will you enter wrong PUK?
Just write down your PUK somewhere.

Me self don't know my PUK. But whenever I lock myself out, I will call MTN and they will give me the PUK after asking me millions of questions.

If you are using Android phone,

Go to settings>>>security>>>>Set up sim lock

And follow prompt

If the sim is in a small phone

Go to settings>>>>>>security settings>>>>Pin code request

Call your network provider to reset it for you.
They will ask you millions of questions to ascertain that you are the owner. If you fail any one or hesitate with your answers, they will bounce you.

Everyone should lock their sim cards. As for me, I locked my sim a long time ago. So even if you put it in another phone or switch off the phone, you will need to enter a code.

And it only takes 3 wrong attempt for MTN to block it.
