I created a gig in Article Writing niche on Monday but no order yet. Sent tons of offers to buyers but no message. I'm beginning to feel that I'm doing something wrong, maybe on my gig description or tags.

I will not advise you to keep saying your are US this, native English speaker that. The US flag is enough. An issue may arise someday and CS will demand for Identification Card. Then you will have to send your Naija ID. They may use those words against you.

Why don't you focus on giving people step-to-step guide on how to open the account. That way, you get followers who will go through your affiliate whatever.
Do you think the information you put up there is enough to get you referrals?

Be patient, it will come or you can send a message to CS. I got mine after completing 11 orders. Even now, I have completed 55 orders yet they haven't given me level 2 badge. I could have contacted CS, but I will wait.

Improve profile and gig description. Gig description is very short. Create more gigs and promote them.

Improve what you offers. 30 view 2 comments will not entice buyers to buy your gig. Run a search using your tags and keywords. See what other sellers in your niche are offering.

Fiverr is a marketplace. It is very competitive. Think of it as the physical market you go to buy and sell everyday. To be successful, you have to stay on top of the competition.

You need to change your profile picture. Half of your face is cut off. I think a portrait will be fine.

Spell check your account. Your gig descriptions are short not convincing. Let your gig descriptions talk about the buyers problems and how you can fix it. For ebook cover gig, you can say something like

"Have you ever wondered why your ebooks are not making much sale despite your mind blowing contents? You have done a lot to promote it, yet sales aren't proportionate to the efforts made. Now, here is the secret. You need a book cover that is attractive and compelling. A cover that will make readers want to click the 'buy' button.
With me you can achieve that.

Another thing is, you need to focus one or two niches. Buyers won't take you serious if you are in all niches.

You didn't have profile description. Most of the things you talk about in your gig description should be in your profile. And saying you studied classical language or what? lol, hope you can defend yourself convincingly if issues arise. You need not to start saying US this and that. Buyers can see your flag. The only thing they look after that is a conviction that you can do it well.

You can say something like this "Creative writing requires a lot of expertise and professionalism. If you need a quality content, you definitely need to employ the service of a professional writer. That is where I come in. I have a lot of experience writing articles, blogs on different topics ranging from relationships, sports, weight loss bla bla bla.
Buying this gig, you will get:
100% orginal content
SEO optimized content"
and so on.

One gig is not enough. Create as many as possible.

Your gig image looks good but the font on it is small. If your gig appears on search results, you can't be able to read the text. If you are the one that designed it, increase font ×2

Improve your gig descriptions. Reduce the use of 'I will' Get attractive image for your gigs. You can use corel draw, Photoshop or even Ms paint to design good pictures that will talk about service. When sending offers on buyer request, sound more convincing.

Is there a way in which if a buyer order a gig in multiples, the the gig duration of delivery will be multiply by the number of order because i have a situation here in which a buyer order a gig in multiples, instead of the delivery duration being multiply by the number of gig, all i just see is 24 hours timer countdown and i am not sure if i can deliver in 24 hours.

I have similar order here. What you do is, try and complete a gig and deliver. Explain to the buyer that the remaining part will be delivered. Keep in touch with your buyer. Communication is the key to success. There are times I will not meet deadline, I will just deliver an explanation in docx. file. then plead for time. As long as you communicate with buyers, they will be fine and patient.

That's a sure way to get banned. Even if you have to copy, modify and rewrite it to be different.

Ojasweb and Singapore1 both you are right to an extent.
Some buyer may like you work and still give you 4 star (For his mind, he is being honest. Most times, they don't know the implications it will have on you as a seller.) But if you politely ask, such a buyer can give you 5 star rating.

Some buyers might get angry and drop a bad review most especially when he doesn't like the work. (He will be like, you did a bad job and I am even considering not to spoil your rating and you still have the guts to ask for five star.)

Now my tip is this: Keep in touch with buyer throughout the working period. Before you deliver (if you still have about 12hours to go), send the file to buyer through inbox. Ask for their views. If buyer approves it deliver it and remind him to give you 5 star. But if buyer doesn't respond and you are running out of time, just deliver the work. Ask him to request modifications if any.

Improve your gig descriptions, make it more appealing. (You can borrow a leaf from Top rated sellers. But don't copy verbatim!)

Your gig extra contradicts your gig description (Description say free unlimited revision, extra say $5 for revision). I don't see anything wrong with unlimited revision though but the contradiction.

Don't just say 'hello' to buyer in your review (Show appreciation. even if you bought the review. say something like 'I am glad your like the [article/ebook/logo/or whatever thing you did for buyer] Looking forward to working with you again." Buyer prefers to work with friendly and appreciative persons and its only through your review response that you can be able to show whoever that clicks how friendly you are.

You need to change your tags, most of your tag didn't match your services. I saw tags like 'article submission ' Such tag will only generate impression from people looking for article submission. If such buyer eventually click on your gig, he will probably not buy because your gig descriptions didn't in anyway said you will submit article. Use tags like: article, article writer, blog, content writing.

Your response time is 11 hrs! That's no good at all. It might stop buyer from contacting you. Buyer love quick response. Download fiverr android app and try as much as possible to stay online always, reply message as soon as they come so as to improve your response time. Staying online always will increase your visibility in searches. Like me, I am always online, even when am sleeping. All I need to do is to keep the app open. This is all I have got to say, Good luck.

I disagree with you. It is not a must that everybody that view your gig must buy. There are long list of people who will click on your gig for viewing sake. (Even me, most time I will view gigs of my competitors. Does it mean I intend to buy? No! I want see what they've got in order to keep improving mine. Other times I click and read gigs to kill boredom.) There are thousands of people who does the same on fiverr. Then the other sect don't just like what you offer. Have is occur to you that even when a buyer contact you for a job, he probably have also contacted 3-4 other sellers after he must have viewed hundreds of gigs?

Like someone said, it all depends on you and you level also. For a starter you might consider $5-10. For an intermediate $10-20.

How I quote my own price depends on the availability of time. If I have no order in queue I can quote low. But if I have orders to work on, I will quote high dor urgent work.

well you are on point, on the other hand, some sellers go to other sellers gig page, check the gig latest feedback, and when they click on the buyers image, it takes them to the buyer profile page which if the buyers set up his/her account to receive message, those sellers turns out to spam the buyer with lots of offers, so it probably unavoidable.

You are right about that. But my concern here is on buyers that just ordered a service, probably trying out your service for the first time.

I'm aware of your concerns....and Maybe you are right. What's also true is that your buyer has the right to trade with anyone. If you are good enough, no matter the sweet deal, he will come back to you for more.

That's why i've never been bothered from day 1... my return buyers always return.

Bro, whenever you want to upload screen shot always open in 'Paint and clean Buyer's name and Order no. One buyer was complaining on Fiverr forum that after he ordered a gig from a seller, he received 3 messages from different sellers telling him about his purchase and how they can do it better. This buyer was wondering how it was possible that these sellers knew about his purchase. But the answer is simple. His seller must have uploaded a screen shot on a forum and other forum members copied the buyer's name and searched for him on fiverr. What am I saying? If any of those sellers succeed in giving the buyer a mouth watering offer. Boom! That seller have lose him.

Some buyer might ignore you if you ask for their budget. Their assumption will be that you are not good at what you do. Don't be scared to quote price(but always be reasonable with your quote ). A buyer that will buy from you will still buy even if you mentioned higher price(he will bargain ). I have once quoted $140 for a buyer but after negotiations, I did the work for $60. I have also quoted $60 for a buyer, he didn't respond again. So that's how it works.

For the job you pasted, $15-$20 quote is fair enough.
