This can happen only if Olakulehin has been crowned Olubadan. If not yet crowned, it's still for Balogun line. That's why Ajibola wants the coronation of Olakulehin delayed. They are both being selfish and buying time to their favour.

Go and read what happens when Oba Yinusa Arapasowu passed on...

And what happens between High Chief Omiyale, High Chief Kuye and the then High Chief Odulana Odugade (Late Olubadan)

Stop this misinformation.
This is the turn of Balogun line and even if the 1st four in Balogun line become incapacitated, the 5th in line will be crowned.

It's the turn of Balogun line, no doubt...but it is solely for the incumbent Balogun.
If he passes on before installation..it moves to Otun Olubadan.

An Otun Balogun cannot become an Olubadan before Otun Olubadan....
Also, Osi Olubadan, for example from Civil Line cannot become an Olubadan before a Balogun....the Otun Balogun and Osi Olubadan can never have double promotion to upsurp an existing Balogun or Otun Olubadan...Never!

They will have to get promoted to their very next rank first.

Even if Olakulehin will not be king, the next king will come from the same line too. So baba Ladoja should rest.
Yes he is the person that will nominate the Olubadan designate as the head of the line that's not producing Olubadan

No correct.

For example,

Oba Yinusa Ogundipe Arapasowu as Olubadan of Ibadan land.
He ascended the throne from the Civil line.

He has:
High Chief Omiyale as Balogun Ibadan
High Chief Oiawale Kuye as Otun Olubadan
High Chief Odulana Odugade as Otun Balogun.

Because Oba Yinusa came from civil line, High chief Kuye was promoted to Otun Olubadan..the Balogun line remains unchanged.

After the demise of ObaYinusa Arapasowu, Chief Omiyale, the Balogun of Ibadan was supposed to be the next in line... unfortunately, he passed on before coronation..

The crown moved back to the civil line...Chief Olawale Kuye was next... unfortunately he also passed on..

The crown moved back to military line..that's why the Otun Balogun, chief Odulana Odugade became Olubadan..from Military Iine.

Chief gain promotions from their line and the late Oba Lekan Balogun became the Otun Olubadan...so, he became the next Olubadan from civil line.

Now that he passed on..the crown moves to military..if the next chief is unable to..it goes back to the civil line

But Ladoja is not the most senior high chief, he is the most senior in the Olubadan line ni,not the most senior high chief.

All the trouble Baba is making because he want to become Olubadan will come to haunt him when it's his time .
As e no dey gree so na so them no go gree for am too. We are all descendants of warriors and all have equal rights to the throne

He is the Otun Olubadan....so, if the Olubadan designated who happens to be the current Balogun of Ibadan is unable to ascend the throne (for death reasons), the crown goes back to the civil line, and that will be Ladoja

This question has been answered by Ekerin Olubadan,Hamidu Ajibade, he said it will be given to the next person in that line and not the second angle.. I don't like this arrangement though

Nothing like second angle...the both lines are lines..

It moves to the next in line which is Ladoja.

Irrespective of where the next high ranking chief is, either the civil or military line..the most senior of the two on the line is the next Olubadan.

He did the right thing anyways...

But, also, the lady did the right thing... I review products online depending on my experience while using it... It's left for the company to reply and tell me why I had a particular experience...

There's a difference between Destructive Criticism and a Negative Review

What the lady gave was a negative review but Eric took it be a destructive criticism.

Someone has once bought my product and went on Fb to say that my product is fake...

I called the guy and it happens to be that he bought the one he bought wasn't for the result he wanted.

What Erisco would have done is to reply the lady and explain to her Tomato Mix and Different from Tomato Paste and hence, there's sugar in it.

A simply Social media reply would have solved the whole thing... The lady never intended to spoil his business.

By the way, Erisco has several products aside Tomato

It doesn't work that way at the surface all of the time.

There are sponsored, paid negative reviewers...they are paid by competitors.

Not all reviews negative or positive are honest and innocent reviews.

So, sometimes, when organisations act, there maybe underlying factors responsible for why they acted the way they do.

It's a good one.

Same as Eriscos CEO has the right to sue Chioma for cyber bullying and other charges levelled against her.

Comment of a slave master. No be only u get investment. Use these 3 days to relax , bond and plan well

Lazy brat!

Serious organisations have planned their productivity calendar and taken cognisance of public holidays.
Government forcing 3 days, which is now technically 4 days, rendering a whole week of productivity useless calls for concern..

Afterall, workers are entitled to annual leave, paternity leave, maternity leave and even compassionate leave.

You should be worried for a bleeding economy....but your comment shows you are not...you are simply Lazy!

Arsenal have Chelsea, ManU and Tottenham hurdles to cross... especially going to Old Trafford won't be easy.

Liverpool to face tricky Tottenham, West ham and Crystal palace..

Manchester City have only Tottenham hurdle ...they know how to beat the other teams

Politics / Re: EFCC Threatens Legal Action Against Odinkalu Over Bobrisky commentaries. by adioolayi(m): 5:42pm On Apr 06
Blazetrailer:
Let me educate you.
The measure of how well public institutions or offices perform world over is called the Triple E
1. Economy: How well you optimised the "supposedly" scarce public funds given to you to achieve your programs without overspending
2. Efficiency: How you used the "scarce" resources to score bigger points or make bigger impacts than the commensurate effect of the funds
3. Effectiveness: How your actions or implementations reach out to the populace or impact on their lives/change their lives positively in the direction expected by the policies or the government.

The question you should ask yourself is, given the scarce resources that EFCC might have and other constraints, would the Triple E have been better achieved if these same resources are deployed instead to:
1. Prosecute Betta Edu who committed a blatant abuse of all economic and financial crimes in the face of the nation
2. Prosecute Ganduje: Who has been reported several times to EFCC(evidences of petitions abound) and who has boasted that no one can prosecute him unless EFCC or the AGF approves(we have been waiting for EFCC since 2018)
3. Prosecute Olubunmi-Ojo (Minister of Interior) whose company have been linked to receiving funds from the suspended minister(Betta Edu) and who never declared this same company in his deposit at the code of conduct bureau
4. So many other big ones..

I am no supporter of Bobrisky, and there are so many other well placed public figures that have been seen and publicly recorded to have been involved in the abuse of the naira(something i consider detestable personally)...but in the face of the supposedly scarce resources that EFCC claimed it had, would the public interest not be seen to have been served more and the Triple E not achieved better if EFCC deployed those resources to chase the cases i mentioned above?? if you can honestly answer the question without your conscience fluffing, then we know where your reasoning belong.

We know Bobrisky is being prosecuted more for the kind of person that he/she is rather than the offence s/he is being arraigned for. The rest na story!!

Let me educate

Thank you for this engagement.

Firstly, I personally do not see the arrest and prosecution of Bobrisky by the EFCC as a witch-hunt, because he was not the first celebrity to be prosecuted for Naira Abuse in recent years...the last before his, that I know of was that of a Nollyhood actress, "Simi Gold" ..prosecuted in February 2023 for same offence as that of Bobrisky.

Back to your Triple E analysis, thank you for this, as I am coming across these for the very first time.

I am of the opinion that Naira Abuse has been a cancer in our society, and almost everyone is guilty..Spraying the Naira at parties tops this chart, it seems to be our culture and law enforcement agencies that will stop us from doing this will do loads of work.

Reorientation of a very large society like Nigeria will cost a lot of money.

Have you heard of Classical deterrence theory before?..It's just about how deterrence are being used to discourage crime.

For me, prosecution of a celebrity for a crime being committed by a very large society like Nigeria, can serve as a deterrence...making larger populace very conscious of the law and the crime.

I think the arrest and prosecution of a celebrity like Bobrisky is cost effective for EFCC, CBN and FGN sending subtle message to the larger society that Naira Abuse is a crime, punishable under the law.

Bobrisky's prosecution is a deterrence...All of your Es were ticked by this singular action of EFCC.

We all know election petition is a very technical and difficult case in Nigeria to prosecute...just that one would expect the petitioners not to be repeating many of these little technical mistakes such as the one in quote.

With loads of election petitions we all followed in the aftermath of 2023 elections, myself wey no be lawyer don know say you have to list your witness and front load your witness statement and evidence so that the defence counsel will have access to it before proceedings.
