Politics / Re: INEC Declares Monday Okpebholo As Winner Of Edo Governorship Election by adioolayi(m): 9:47pm
As complex as Nigeria's politics seems to be, it is one of the most easiest to predict the elections outcome.

If you predict the outcome without emotions and sentiments...you have about 98% chance of correct predictions.

It's just too logically clear Asue Ighodalo will lose simply because of Governor Obaseki's multiple political fights. He allowed many political heavyweights to leave PDP...he thinks he doesn't want an...Na so

Anyone wey still think na rigging... doesn't understand Nigeria's politics.

Even if there will be rigging, it means the environment supports rigging..and for environment to support rigging, the party perpetuating the rigging has loads of supporters with her. If not, rigging won't be possible with stern opposition.

Summarily, Obaseki's multiple political fights cost Asue Ighodalo this election

Thanks for the correction, I just noticed that there are other Obozuwa Josephine, on facebook, however; these are the kind of steps we need to take if we really want sanity in this country, THE PEOPLE HAS TO BE IN CONTROL, that Obozuwa Josephine I assume she will be a corp member can be traced and punished, we cannot wait for the corrupt government to do that for us. People need to understand that when they do wrong they cannot hide, and we must start from ground up, we no fit go aso rock go beat tinubu, but any amongst us who is enabling these vices in our society we can easily trace them and punish them accordingly

Sooner than later these corrupt politicians will realize that if they give bribe nobody will be there to collect it, they will stop by force.

I absolutely agree with you.

I just want us to be 100% sure.

I don't care about who runs on which platform..

All I know is, for opposition to defeat this incumbent APC.. they will have to come together and form a solid alliance... anything short of this...APC will win 2027 elections.

It's a simple truth..as clear as crystal ball

Compare this with Governor Obaseki's PU result and make inference of what you can.

Anyways, I don't expect to be seeing result sheets of PUs that determines winner of Nigeria's Governorship elections online yet..

Usually, election materials do arrive at those places late, they usually vote late into the dead of the nights and that's where actually riggings happens.

So, it's too early for anyone to think any of the candidates is leading or have this locked down.

Nigeria's elections?

Some people are already concluding based on few polling units results sheets

How many times are we going to learn that rigging doesn't happen at city centres, where you can have access to results sheets

The results that determines the winner of an election, dem go still dey count am or dem go still dey vote late into the nights.

The horrible performance of APC so far in the Edo election should send a warning to Tinubu to get his acts together. He can't continue to starve Nigerians in the name of whatever he is doing there.

Are you sure APC will lose this election?

Politics / Re: Edo 2024 Election: Who Will Win The Governorship Election? Who Has Your Support? by adioolayi(m): 10:09am On Sep 21
Popular choice is Asue Ighodalo of the PDP....he should win if the people are out ...

Unfortunately, the Nigeria's political atmosphere doesn't favour him..the political forces are in support of APC's Opkebolo..

Over the years, I have come to realise politics in Nigeria is not by emotions and sentiments. Not even about being most popular on the internet...It's local

That's why I strongly think APC will win Edo.

Exactly, but CBN knows when to "fix" rate for certain things..right?

Not Dangote

Flier:
We all supported Dangote at the beginning of his fracas with FG but now it’s obvious he a dirty business man who only cares about profit and how to monopolize any business he found himself.
Let him crash his price if he doesn’t want importation Atleast there is no landing cost, taxes or whatever cost. What happened to cement industry must not happen to oil industry
We can’t be at the mercy of one greedy man

Take a critical look at NNPC price model of pms from Dangote..
They got it at 0.55 cent and have used exchange rates of #1637...and also included various taxes and transport costs to land at their #950 per litre..

The question is why using such high exchange rate?
Who caused devaluation of Naira
Why not give concession on taxes

All these are what FGN can do something about.

Dangote is a private business man. Government knows how much they sold crude to him and are in the best position to know if he is overpricing.

My point is...it is still the responsibility of President Tinubu and his cabinet to do something...and not Dangote

Dangote should crash his money to 600, and see everybody rush to him, even neighbouring countries

Dangote is a business man...he cannot run at a lose.

FGN should do the very right thing...they know at what rate they supply crude..so,they will know if he is actually selling at ridiculous price.

Won't change anything.

Dangote cannot meet our entire fuel needs right now. We need more refineries to come on stream before we can get there.

This is a smoke screen excuse....how can we say a 650,000 BPD refinery cannot meet local demand

Let them supply enough crude na and see.

They are not just ready to stop fuel importations because of corruption...nothing more!

This is the problem ..

The main conduit of corruption...access to FX..

This is one of the reasons the politicians, oil importers and International Oil companies are hell bent on not stopping fuel importations!

They are making hell of money from the corruption cycle.

I have said it...importing refined oil products na cash cow..

Politicians, oil importers and International Oil companies are complicit...

They all are still in disbelief that a refinery as huge as that of Dangote can actually work in Nigeria..

Their businesses are about to collapse and they are yet to wake-up..catchihg straws..

Laslas...Nigeria will be liberated.

PMS importers ( Politicians, international oil companies, Independent marketers and other forces in oil market) are making so much money that they just don't want to stop..

They are yet to come to full realisation that there is actually a refinery working in Nigeria that can take care of our PMS demand.

Many couldn't believe their services will end abruptly just like that.

It's well with Nigeria.

Politics / Re: NNPC Fixes Pump Price For Dangote Refinery, Sells Petrol ₦950 Lagos, ₦992 Abuja by adioolayi(m): 6:13am On Sep 16
This is a very distasteful sad development !

Isn't it clear this NNPCL have no iota of shame by not producing a single drop of PMS from any of the four refineries by now

Isn't it clear President Tinubu lead administration is wicked, lacks empathy by floating the Naira while at the same time removing fuel subsidy

See the exchange rate NNPCL are using for goodness sake... NGN 1637.59 to a USD

Imagine President Tinubu didn't float the Naira at the same time he removed fuel subsidy...and Naira is around NGN 450.... A litre of PMS would have been around NGN 250 and not over NGN 1000 that most places in Nigeria will have to buy now.

The refineries just have to work now!!!
