Hmmmmm in other words they dorbale for Baba Iyabo...... Jona must prostrate for all Nigerians if he want to win 2015
Even if he prostrate and roll on the floor, he would not be reelected except;

1- #bringbackourgirls
2- Stop Boko Haram insurgency
3- Return subsidy by reducing fuel price to #50 per litter!
4- Provide employment for the youth
5- Give 20,000 each to yet unemployed youth on monthly basis as social security and safety-net
6- Resuscitate our educational system
7- Bring back our economy to life in reality not on paper!
8- Stop corruption and declare your assets!
9- Reduce your cabinet members
10- Reduce your salary, and top government officials emonuments to curb waste
11- Resolve foods insecurity and promote locally produced goods.
12- Units us as a nation.
Incompetent, clueless head like GEJ can not do this so, let him go back to Otueke villagE oooo

Points raised are all valid points, but given the calibre of people we have as legislators (greedy thief's), I bet nothing will happen. This won't see the light of day.
I agree with you but don't you think reasonable country men and women should hold on to those points to make meaningful change they desired? I believed in a saying; 'out of a lot of nonsense, there is always a sense'. Except we are as gullible, fobia and cowardice as described by the international community, Mr. Jonathan should be voted out collectively after all, his party allies are among those revealed these dehumanizing, unprocedural and law breaking treats of a well learned president who on daily basis displayed lack of competence and shameful act just to remain in authority at all cost. If he can not be impeached, he should be voted out! Enough of national and international disgrace his govt had brought to us as a nation! Nigeria is owned by the (6) geopoliticl zone so, threats of (2)geopolitical zone should not hold us back. We are one before him, we shall continue to be one after him even if we must parted ways, it shouldn't be by minority's dictate. They've tried it before they filed! They shall fail again and again by God's grace. Better life is what we bargained, peaceful co-existence is what we desired. God bless my country of birth NIGERIA.... #ONENIGERIAWECHERICHED.

Useless boko haram advocate, Watch and see Nigeria defeat your boko haram ideology in the next few months, the military hardware our army needs will be supplied by russia and china soon, you hopes will be dashed as Nigeria will defeat boko haram.
Whether I'm boko haram advocate or your incompetent, rabble-rouser presidency that are worldwidely known as impotent leaders only time will tell. You knew how many times your presidency have been promising and failing?can you count d number of times your presidency has been lying and releasing falsefied testimony over boko haram? Do you think the chinese government are as slowpoke as your confussed presidency? America govt. is furious at your corrupt govt. As well, complacency and several human right violations but instead of your ill-thought head govt to rise up to the challenges and seek culpability where it is, they took to false pride, usual disloyalty and ingrate attitude towards US govt. Again I sked you, who loose? Wht do you think US govt is getting from you that they can nott get from other country? Gen.Gowon is still very much alive, let your ego ridden president seek detail knowledge from him expecially on weapon procurement and diplomatic way on how to deal with shifting ground from major weapon dealer to another in a more diplomatic and uncaotic way. Please go and read more on NIGERIA's WEAPONS PROCUREMENT PROCESS and IT IMPLICATION FOR HER DEFENCE POLICY by NIIA then, do justice to American govt position on their refusal to sell certain weapon to a gross human rights violator country like Nigeria.

Thank you my brother, false pride is a disease bigger than AIDS or Ebola. False pride makes the person lose sight of benefits and catastrophic consequences actions.

So who gains from the cancellation of the training? What does the US stand to lose and what do we stand to gain. Is the government saying we do not need to train our soldiers to fight modern warfar of insurgiency and guerilla warfare? We are behaving like beggers that is refusing to collect N10 from a giver because the note is too small or too dirty.

If we are now going to be enemies with the US, who are we going to make friends with? Russia, China, Israel, Iran, North Korea? If you thing the US hate us, you think the Russians, the chinese and the Israelis love us more?

A sensible govenment attempts to make friends and not accumulate enemies. What stops the Jonathan government from engaging the Americans diplomatically to see how we can resolve thorny issues. The US has concerns about Nigeria concerning high level corruption and human rights abuses. They openly accuse Nigerian Generals including Ihejirika of stealing the money meant to equip the Nigerian military. They also alleged that the little high grade weapons we have end up in in the possesion of Boko Haram.

A simple thing to do is to allay the fears of the Americans instead of behaving like a baby who's mother refuses to put brea.st in its mouth on time.
Thank you for being 'just' I'm confident that Nigerian youth esspecially the truly progressive ones with educative and intellectual comments are better than the rabble-rouser presidency of our republic.

None of Nigeria's neighbours is a threat to Nigeria. In fact, the foreign weapons and training for our army are mainly to kill ourselves in our endless internal conflicts. Our internal conflicts in Nigeria arise because we practice a system of govt where a few persons stay in Abuja and collect and share revenues from and to the states. A Nigerian group that fashioned the political system with force as it favours it refuses return to true federalism through democratic means. Thus Nigerian groups take to the business of scheming to be atop Aso Rock to take control of oil and sundry revenues. That scheming to control others is behind all the conflicts in Nigeria. If America or the West is our enemy, they can esasily recolonise our country, and no heavens shall fall.
Again, This is what your GEJ/PDP are known for 'governance by excuses' read in lines, concentrate on d topic and criticise constructively! Mr GEJ is known for 'false pride' reflection and outcome of which resulted in age long soul massacre. He was told by OBJ to apply stick and carrot approach at initial stage but refused until things got out of hand before he partially applied it. As much as I don't trust or support America peace keeping mission yet, we can't deny their intelligent skills and experience in terrorism issues which means we have a lot to learn from them. An intelligent question had been previously posted by an informed nairalander which was; "who loose?" Federal govt stopped receiving training from american solders does not affect america in any way! Is it not too late to realized that America or Britain are our enemies...? remember what the courageous mouth piece of the black nation, Gen. Muritala Muhammed said about 'white being the black's enemy in disguise and his further admonishment to recognized them as our recurring enemy' amidst some authorities in africa, Gen.Muritala Muhammed's death was internationally maligned! Have we borthered to ask why british govt. refused to sell certain weapons for Nigeria govt. during 1967 civil war even as they remained our major arms supplier for national defence untill eastern europe came to our rescue. As American government have refused to advanced certain category of weapon to us, the necessary measure and alternative should be sorted by reasonable govt and not false pride of jetissoning useful skills for the military perhaps our solders doesn't need it today which I doubted strongly, they shall need it tomorrow! Weapon procurement for both internal defence and external aggressions is a serious business for the men and not for boys like Jonathan and his compromised army! He also need to be reminded that taken up diplomatic issues against US this time will only complicate things for us. If he could be brainwashed by Chad president who else can he treppled on? MR Jonathan should be very careful and learn from the real men outside the corridor of power.

Empero1:
Obviously , almost all of you above did not know the full meaning of this said court order . For one , the speaker is not yet removed from his seat , no ,and no court in the land has the power to do so because of his defection from one political party to another . The level of his popularity among his colleagues is the only thing that will always determine his fate . The court only asked him to vacate the seat on his own volition and principle ( which I am certain he's not ready to yield to ) , else his former party the PDP can decide to initiate moves to impeach him through the instrumental of 2/3 of the house members as stipulated in the constitution .

Now , the problem is that , it will be a herculean task for the PDP to secure support of 2/3 of the members of the house of representative to impeach him citing the current political atmosphere and the level of his popularity among his colleagues . Clearly , he will serve his tenure till the end of this regime , I can bet any of my valuables for this .

The constitution stance of how primus inter pares of any arm of the the house of assembles should emerged is very clear . It is he/she who secures majority votes from the members of the house that do emerge victorious as the primus inter pares , not necessary a member from the dominant political party in the house . In summary , his popularity and acceptability among his colleagues is what will keep saving him till the end .
I love it when it is educative and reasonable. Truly progressive, may God increase your knowledge.

Hassan Taiwo Soweto writes on FB

Today, i did my part, i made my stand. Happy joining OAU students to show President Jonathan his government and poverty-inducing capitalist policies are not welcomed. He expected a rousing welcome, instead he was confornted with a protest. Fayose got perhaps the biggest embarrassment of his life today. He walked confidently to Ife students expecting to be applauded. I can't yet forget the look of shock on his face as shout of Ole! Ole ! (Thief! Thief!) rented the air. Hastily his security details whisked him away. President Jonathan's convoy was delayed as students sat on the road chanting slogans. Clumsily one by one, the royal fathers made their way out not sure who next would be greeted with shout of "thief!" Those to be pitied (not sure if they even deserve it though) were the hundreds of PDP supporters who had thronged the campus with different banners to welcome Jonathan. They looked dejected, their banners hanging around them. How could they start dancing as they planned with the hundreds of students chanting solidarity songs just beside them? At the end, as the helicopters lifted from the ground, i didn't see a single person waving the President goodbye. It was like good riddance. If my guess is right, someone might soon be fired for fixing OAU on the President's itinery Despite attempts by a wing of the union leadership to sell-out, great Ife students have demonstrated how oppressors and exploiters should be treated. I would do it again anytime, any day. Doing this isn't because we support the APC. Years ago, i carried placards to give Tinubu the same welcome i joined others to give Jonathan today in the same University and at the same Oduduwa hall. I would do it again today just as my organisation, the Education Rights Campaign (ERC), played leading roles in the struggle to defeat the APC attemps to deny the downtrodden public education in LASU. PDP and APC supports the same ruinous capitalist philosophy that has created the embarrassing inequality in Nigeria despite massive oil wealth. Only the building of an alternative political party to fight to end capitalism and enthrone socialism can ensure our problems begin to have genuine solutions. To all those with whom we made the stand against president Jonathan today, Solidarity!
God bless you and continue to give you strength to do more........I'm identified with NADECO, NYC, NAUG and Nigerian students with rigorous aluta spirit. Solidriy forever!!!!!!

That is the more reason why we need to stop Jonathan knowing fully well that he had failed like his predecessor. You need to take epoch into consideration each time you re running political calculation. You don't seek favour before the people you are failing! You don't give excuses while failing! Leadership in mr Jonathan dictionary is been prodigal (lavishing treasury) and cleptocratic! We've gotten some leaders in decades past in Nigeria whose record of performance closed to average and beyond. OBJ 1976-1979 indeed tried at per. Buhari/Idiagbon 1983-1985 was also better off within the limited time they spent. Late Muritala Muhammed and Yaradua to a certain extent tried their best even though death took them untimely. Of course, mr Jonathan has tried his best with clear cut evidence that there is absolutely nothing he can do to better our lots than more harvoc hence the need for him to allow another set of better heads to pilot the affairs of our divided country in his tenure. We can't risk or afford militant/boko haram taken over from him before he is sent back to Otueke. If he is not boko haram sponsor, he should combat them with our resource failure to do so, pronounced him a failure with cheap excuses.

This has absolutely nothing to do with GEJ except he doubles as GCFR and the clerk of the HOR,tambuwal actually shot himself in the foot with his action and it is written in white and black in the constitution the consequences of such actions,I don't see why anyone should be bothered bout this happening cos he must also have done his homework and prepare for this anyways, its actually a different scenario if a governor cross carpets because its the vote of his kinsmen that made him governor and only his kinsmen can vote him out or perhaps impeached by the state HOA,unlike Tambuwal case, his kinsmen only voted him as a HOR member,it was an inner caucas vote by members of the HOR that made him speaker, now no one is saying he should resign from the HOR but he should honorably resign as SPEAKER because he is now in the minority party and that's standard practice all over the world, except he chooses to play dirty like some two-timing b$tch.
Please, find out more on which party members truly voted Tambuwa in as HOR speaker. Again, you said it has nothing to do with the president even as he heads the presidency and his party? Who gives order and directives if indeed the whole happenings absolutely have nothing to do with GEJ in our own words? I challenged you to state the section of the 1999 constitution as amended that says speaker of HOR can not decamp to one party or that when he does, his security details should be removed. Again, state clearly the clause where and how the sanction must be imposed on him/her. Is PDP constitution 1st or FRN constitution 1st? Finally, I implore you to seek the right information from objective minded people and not from pro-jonathan assembly members who are misguided elements within the corridor of power! What president and his party allies are doing to the speaker's seat being number 4 citizen is pure misuse/misapplication of authority and abuse of power which is condemnable by any reasonable Nigerian.

Nothin is happening to Tambuwa by God's grace. What Jonathan and his party allies are doing is just their abnormal way of exercising power by hitting up polity unnecessarily. Mr president is an agent of imperialism and capitalist wig who had plough the seed of his destruction right from the day he implemented his dehumanising subsidy policy, moving against pdp rotational presidency that favored him. If you are informed, his disloyalty towards notherners and Obasanjo is another nemesis catching up with him. I implore him to put forward his long over due south south, south east ceasition plans now or risk been tried and end up in prison like formal president Mosi of Egypt come 2015. He asked for cross carpeting, he asked for disloyalty, he asked for religious politics and money does it all politics of his political God father Obasanjo yet angry for getting it. He would get it in full scale soon! Just keep watchig....If you must comment, do so convincingly and constructively dont abuse if you are really learned.
