None of the above. The longest I stayed was 3 weeks but visited 4 times in 11 months. mostly follow-ups on previous business deals. I am a startup founder, and it was fundraising and partnership season.

For me, where i will be picking up the passport is another thing. OIS or DHL? Cos it was DHL i selected when i started the process with the old portal. No instructions on this from them yet.

I have also created tickets through ‘support’ on AVITS. The response was that i have to wait until my appointment is tagged as 221g before i can reschedule.

Has this happened to anyone after an IW? I have never over stayed, never committed a crime, Male so I did not have a baby or violate any rule I am aware of.

What does the interview waiver question look like? I qualify but didn't see the questionnaire. It took me to regular appointment which I booked, and now I believe $185 is wasted.

My second time document a trip. The last one was to Washington some months ago. This year, we start with Africa.

Hi, its must likely a glitch. I experienced this in september.

You may need to open a ticket. Attach your First bank invoice and receipt of payment. By the time its been resolved, you'll be able to book an appointment.

Have you paid? someone mentioned seeing the duplicate issues resurface with your method after payment

My case is IW and I don’t know the implication.

What happened after you paid?

He is right but I'll do you one better.
1. Start by entering the wrong passport number and go to the MRV payment section.
2. Click on your name (check the screenshot if you're unsure where).
3. It should take you back to the form. Now, enter the correct passport number and proceed.
4. If you get the error (duplicate applicant), don’t worry—just close the tab.
Open "Pending Appointment" again, and now you should be able to proceed with the payment (you can click your name again to confirm the right passport number is there.

It’s extremely fustrating that after making payment since Sep 6th, all calls and chats with the customer reps have yielded no resolution.

AVIT cant help . They have no idea of what’s happening. This is what u do ; In the new profile, change the last digit of your passport number and proceed. It’ll allow you to proceed and book an appointment. Your appointment slip will come out with this new passport number (the one with the last digit changed), don’t fret, it’s okay, however, your DS-160 will bear the right Passport number, that’s what they’ll use to pull out ur details. Your appointment slip has no usefulness pass the AVIT security members who’ll check the slip and compare it with what they have on their system to be sure you have an appointment that day. After the security procedure, what matter is your DS-160 page , passport and i20 ( passport and i20 are the two documents the VO will collect from u)

If you don’t do this, you’ll keep getting “duplicate applicants……” even if you use 100 emails

I created another one with a different email and tried typing my details so I can get the Visa payment slip but it keeps telling me duplicate user/user not active. Please what do I do?

Please I have a serious challenge. I created my profile and made payment, but before the payment was confirmed I found out I could add my dependents. I proceeded to add them but the total amount was still including mine so I could not pay for them. Now my payment has been confirmed and we have all been issued IW confirmation letters however, their own letter doesn't carry a receipt ID (for obvious reasons) and there is no way to pay for them as it is. Tried to create a new profile for them but it is saying duplicate applicant found. What can I do please?

Good day, I did this and on the new email, it said the same thing, duplicate transaction. I couldn’t raise a ticket because that would require having a profile existing on the new email and I can’t do that. I tried to login into the old email after deactivating it and it says used inactive.

How long did this take please?

I had this problem too. What I did was to create a ticket and kept calling them. Eventually, they merged the two accounts but I doubt you will be able to use the payment before. You may have to pay another visa fee.
